Poor hygiene. Both guys were eating from the same tubs while dispensing food with the same spoon that's used to serve clients. Hospitality is non existent

SFC, often jokingly referred to as “Sad Fried Chicken,” truly lives up to its unfortunate nickname according to many disgruntled customers. The behavior and attitude of the staff reportedly make it seem as if customers are a burden rather than the lifeline of the business. Service is described as shockingly poor, with little regard for basic courtesy or professionalism, leaving patrons feeling disrespected and undervalued. For those who appreciate a warm smile and quality customer service, this establishment is far from ideal. Many claim it offers some of the worst customer service in Bristol, making it difficult to recommend to anyone seeking a pleasant dining experience.

Honestly, based on the reviews, and to some extent my experience, it seems like these guys are struggling. It appears to be part of a chain, possibly, as there was a competition being run which seemed to involve other branches, but this isn't obvious from the outside or inside, otherwise. The guys there seemed a bit stressed. There appeared to be some confusion over who was supposed to be doing what and one man was extremely tired, indeed. I'm not surprised because they are open until 1am and if it's franchise run by a very small team, then that's a lot of work. But I'm speculating. The burger was actually really good. Maple chicken., It's a fantastic idea and worked really well. The chips were also very well cooked. It took a while to come, but the chips were made fresh and it was very late at night and they weren't busy. The decor is very utilitarian. It doesn't create a 'nice' a nice atmosphere, which is maybe a high expectation but it gives you a feel. Since the food was good, I'm happy over all.

Worst staff and worse service ever recieved. No manners at all wait time is excessive.shit system they have even they don’t have any time management wait time over 30 minutes.first and last time ever visited this place. Don’t waste your money and time here there is many more options than this

The chicken and chips was awesome but the cheesey garlic bread was rock hard and cold

I’ve been eating here for 3 years now, have seen the management changes . I always order the below ones Whole peri peri chicken large fries Large Spicy rice The peri peri sauce which is served currently is the best out of the lot. I have to be honest as i had an issue once with an order where the chicken smelled bad. I explained the situation in google translate as they were not able to follow english fully But anyways they realised the mistake and ensured that best chicken is served ever since. The guy who takes order looks genuine and the food that they serve are fantastic too I order takeaway atleast once in a month. Great going guys and keep up the good work And ya parking is always a challenge so better park on the right side street and walk towards the shop

We have ordered several times from here. This is the worst meal thus far. The chicken peices we ordered are much smaller and have a heavy coating of batter which reduces the amount of meat even further. Everything else was fine.

Had enough of these always no salt no napkins food chucked I'm the bag 3 times don't bring the drink. Like warm chips get worst with every order. Clean the chicken it stinks buy some napkins for customers and provide salt when asked its quite simple really it ain't rocket science running a chick shop is the most simplest business concept there is. But yet these that's can't even fulfill a full order since they took over serif sort it out. Absolute bloody joke

Went in for some fried chicken,waited 20 minutes and nothing then saw the guy cooking the fries stick his finger in his mouth,carried on cooking without washing his hands.walked out.Avoid!!!

A first ordering from here lovely food plenty for four adults. Some left over as well . Everything is as hot cooked delicious I’m sure we will order again.

Despite the high quality of the food, the packing of the order went wrong tonight. It left my son without his popcorn chicken meal and drink. It's a real shame as this has a happened a couple of times before with drinks or other smaller items being missing.

The chicken breast in the burger was stale. The buns were burnt and stale. The chicken was undone and tasteless. They didn’t follow the instructions I left in the info box when I was ordering It was really horrible. I regret ordering from them. It was a waste of money. I had to trash all the food as hungry as I was. Never ordering from them again!!!

Paid £20 for 2 milk shake and 2 pieces of cake. Cake was frozen when arrived so couldn't eat it. Milk shakes tasted off so had to throw them away.cant believe I paid £20 and couldn't eat/drink any of my order. Very disappointed. Delivery driver also rang my door bell 5 times even though he could see my partner going to door

It took an hour for delivery as it was a big order but food quality was excellent- fried chicken better than KFC, salad was very fresh, loads of chips and peri peri chicken was tasty and succelent. May want to reduce the salt on the fried chicken a little for those who can't have much salt but everything was delivered hot and on time on this order.

The food was excellent and value for money. The only issue was that the delivery was 40 minutes late and we did not get any updates on the status. However, we did get an apology from the driver.We would have waited if we knew the status of the order. Also, the drink for the popcorn chicken for our son was missing and not included in the delivery. We would order again as the food was very good.

Ordered on Uber eats. Always happy with the quality of the food and the portions, however it says on the app that it's a meal deal but you have to buy the chips and drink separately. That's annoying but its good food.

I ordered the peri peri chicken strips and they were delicious. Perfectly cooked and the sauce was stunning. The cheesy garlic bread was nice, not the best I've ever had, but for the price was perfectly happy with all the items.

It took over an hour for too simple meals personally i dont think ill come here again also, short on staff theres only two members available although one went for delivery which leaves 1 member

We were the only people in the entire place and we were made to wait over 15 mins for our food. Really disappointed, staff didn’t look bothered at all and mostly stood still while we were waiting. The chicken burger was really tasteless too. Will not be coming back

Honestly it coudnt get worse. 2+ hours of waiting, 6 phone calls, where I got made out to be an aHole, just to get this child's attempt at a chicken fillet wrap that cost just under £5. I had the driver lie saying he was outside when his satnav was announcing that he was not, hung up on for asking for them to call me when outside, told that the food was with an uber driver when there restaurant on uber eats specifically stated that there driver would be delivering it, and sent truly sub par food that I won't be eating because it is prepared with such lackluster care I don't want to.

I ordered the special offer one on Deliveroo, which includes pizza, burgers, chip, chicken and rice, 2 halfs of spicy chicken, salad etc; I called and they tried to tell me there’s nothing they can do, eventually sent the right order out. Then their delivery driver couldn’t find the address and went back to the shop and refused to send food out again. Unprofessional and I will not be ordering again. Do NOT order if your address is hard to find as you will not receive your order and they will say there’s nothing they can do

Absolutely terrible service from this place. Ordered on just eat had my child waiting for over 2 hours, when I called they said they have not even started to make my order but on the app they clicked Delivered. Luckily I had CCTV to show no food was delivered. AVOID THIS PLACE HORRIBLE SERVICE

The chicken wrap was insane, really generous portion within the wrap, the peri sauce was really delicious and extremely flavoursome. The fried chicken was really good, soft and packed full of flavour. I think this is Bristol’s best chicken shop. Staff were really polite when I visited the shop & having used the delivery service I was really impressed with how quickly and warm the food came. Bristol peeps, hit this place up!!!

So far they are 25 mins late so they clearly not early on on time this is a complete lie and on too of that they tried not to take on the 15 % off but they were honest as I tried to give them far to much money the burger was nice but the chicken breast were dry and cold as were the fries

Got served by 2 lovely guys. They do piri piri and fried chicken both of which are delicious. It's newly opened so please give them your patience and this will become the best chicken shop about.
