Service is appalling. Long queues ordering drinks, only two staff working behind the bar while three are cleaning house, not the right priority in my opinion. Yet there's still loads of dirty glasses around. Makes you question what's going on. App does not work, tried ordering food, check boxes do not work. By the time I got to the bar to try and order, kitchen had shut. Bitterly disappointing. Which is a real shame as food here has been fairly good in the past.. I would not voluntarily come back here again. Stonegate please sort it out.

I payed the deposit and me and friends went on our way. We arrived and we were directed to our seats which was out the way and we found it difficult to ask for service. When they arrived to our table they took our order and went to get it. They had mixed our drinks and another tables drinks together and brought it to our table. The waitress had a bad attitude as if it was our fault. When we went to the toilet they took our drinks away and I addressed this to someone and they said they’d replace them but it never arrived. The food wasn’t bad but wasn’t very good either it was lazy food. The worst thing to happen is they didn’t take our deposit off the bill at the end. After speaking to management he took my name and said that was all he needed and it’ll be refunding into my bank. I thought this was strange but he kept reassuring me that’s how it works. I never received that payment and I have tried to contact slug and lettuce over email and haven’t heard anything. I won’t be visiting again and have advised people to do the same.

We came as a group for a 40th birthday celebration a week ago and I just wanted to say how amazing the staff were when I became unwell due to it being sooo hot. The staff were attentive, reactive and really looked after me. They were super busy and short staffed so I am sure my dramatics they could have done without but honestly what a great bunch of staff. Food was great too and cocktails very yummy even better they are 241.

Slug & lettece Bristol Harbourside…..your bottomless brunch on this occasion was disappointing. As a group we were seated very quickly, food was mediocre, however arrived very quickly. There was a small mayo spillage from the young waitress who brought our food over, it was dealt with quickly. She did apologise. The women who served us on the day (Unfortunately forgot to take her name) was polite and did take our first round of drinks order quickly. After that service was pretty much non existent. After having a couple of rounds of drinks, we had moved onto some mimosas, the young lad who had brought the tray over, unfortunately had an accident and spilt all the drinks over one side of our table. He was very apologetic, saying ‘it wasn’t his day today’ The young lad did his best to mop up the spillage, no wet floor signs were placed after he had mopped & blue roll was left on our table, along with lots of empty glasses from the previous round. The broken glass was never swept up. As a group we had to all squeeze onto the other end of the table. We did as a group as to move to another table as there was 7 of us, but this could not be accommodated. They were apparently fully booked. We were told there was going to be compensation for the drink & mayo spillage. We were also told a bottle of Prosecco would be brought to the table, but never arrived. New mimosas were brought over , along with a few extra, however these were not needed. Just before we paid and left, the women who had been serving us from the start did take some money off the bill. A small compensation for what had happened. Will not he returning anytime soon and not recommending on this occasion.

Just experienced my first bottomless brunch, and OMG what an amazing experience!! It truly was bottomless, and our waitress was fantastic! We will definitely be back again, wish I’d had the cheese burger, that looked great, my chicken/bacon croll was ok, but I wouldn’t have again A great experience, and as I said, we will be back!!

Really not impressed with the organisation of this place. Payed a £60 deposit to book a table for my neices hen night for 5pm arrived at 4.50pm to be told our table wasn't ready was then left waiting until 5.40pm when the hen went and sat at the table reserved for us herself as she got fed up of waiting (which was still not cleaned) We were asked for pre-orders for food which when we asked the waitress about she didn't know how it worked with the pre-orders, manager came and confirmed the orders but we were told some desserts were not avaliable which seems to make pre-ordering a bit pointless. We then waited for food and once it arrived had double of some meals. When it came to payment they struggled to separate the bill so would have been easier for us to just pay and order individually on the day. We were also charged for the extra meals they bought to the table even though they weren't ordered or eaten. Which I did just pay for as at that point I was so annoyed with the whole situation. Overall lovely food, lovely atmosphere but absolutely shocking service.

We had a great bottomless brunch experience here at the slug and lettuce harbour side! Ivy was our waitress who asked us regularly for drink refills which was more than ideal to get our moneys worth! In addition the service was quick and attentive! She was absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome, I would defo recommend a bottomless brunch or even just a drinks experience here

I have always wanted to experience a meal in the Slug and Lettuce, only for the fact of it being a well known chain of pub/restaurants. We walked in at 12.30 on a Saturday, not busy at all, just a few drinking. Went to the bar to order food. Being a vegetarian the menue was a little limited but I do eat fish, so not wanting anything too large decided on the fish finger sandwich that comes with chips. Was then told "Don't have any fish fingers". Then decided would have to go for a larger meal so asked for fish and chips. "Don't have any fish". I was then told? Really on a Saturday lunch time. I will add after resulting to the Fajita Pasta out of desperation it came without the coriander or spring onion as it said on the menu it was finished with. As this was the hotest spiced meal I had ever tasted very little was eaten as by now I just wanted to get out of the place. I will say after, I presume the manager who seen I was about to ascend the stairs to the toilets and had a crutch did very kindly point to the accessible toilet on the ground floor and gave me the key. As it was a birthday treat combined with a visit to the Hippodrome to see Aladin, it was a bit of a let down. Being disabled I cannot get out much, there's always next year!

The staff were great and they were quite prompt with drinks (bottomless brunch) but it was so loud that no-one could hear even the person next to each other and the food was quite burnt and very average.

Food and drinks were great but the best of all was our server Ivey was amazing, she is so good at her job and so lovely a credit to the company

This is a good place for cocktails & nachos before a night out in Bristol. the staff were friendly & the service was quick.

Attended a bottomless brunch! Quick service but it was a Tuesday day time not sure if that's why, not sure what it would be like on a weekend but can't fault it today. Good drink choices compared to other brunches! Ps was asked to write a review for an extra free drink at the end of our brunch 😂

Came here on a Saturday for a bottomless brunch. Seated inside and the music was deafeningly loud. Service was extremely slow. Ordered a strawberry Bellini and it took half an hour to come and when it came, it was basically just a glass of Prosecco with a bit of red colouring. All the drinks were watery and disappointing. Our food took an age to come and when it came it was lukewarm at best. Cutlery wasn’t given so waited another 10 minutes to flag someone down to get cutlery by which point the food was stone cold. Bottomless brunch here is £37 per person and for what I received that night it was appalling and not worth the money.

Don't go there just stood in a queue for 30minutes to be told we can't have food. Just 2 bar staff and they are not very friendly.

Updated my review! Incorrectly put 2 stars instead of 4. My partner and I had a really lovely time. Connor, our server, was very attentive and made sure the drinks were flowing as we were there for a Bottomless Brunch. Great atmosphere and enjoyed the DJ. Would definitely recommend.

Really disappointed with food, had cesar salad,4 hrs later I still feel heavy, not very tasty and I had many to compare to. Partner had curry and also didn’t enjoy it, certainly won’t be back to eat there

Horrible service, was ordering politely but the waiter and bartender showed bad attitude to us without any reasons (potentially racism as we are asians, she was a lady wearing glasses and she smiled at other white customers), ordered a mojito but got something in the photo attached. No lime, no mint, vodka based. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! Ps manager and other staffs were lovely and they tried to solve the problem for us , but JUST THAT GIRL someone please fire her asap

The tables outside were not cleaned. There were leftovers from visitors on several tables and all of the tables were not wiped clean and had stickies on them.
