We went here for Valentine’s Day and had a set menu. The food and wine were delicious, I couldn’t fault anything. Our waitress Ana was so friendly and attentive. We had a really good time, highly recommend. We’ll be back very soon :)

Anais was amazing really took care of us. Would come back just for the good vibes she gave. I also loved with valentines day charcuterie and wine!

Fabulous Sicilian wine tasting experience. Wonderful wines, fabulous food, with a friendly and informative introduction to Sicilian wine by Catalin-who shared some personal experiences for a unique experience.

Having a ‘date’ lunch here at the moment and I have to say it’s been absolutely superb. Friendly and efficient staff, stunning cocktails, nice buzzy atmosphere and I had to go and personally speak to chef to compliment him on one the finest pizzas I’ve ever eaten. The base and crust were light and delicious… I ate every last morsel of it! Shall definitely be back again soon and would highly recommend this to anyone.

Tomó siglos para nuestra comida a pesar de venir antes de la hora del almuerzo prime, solo había un servidor dudar de la comida y en lugar de realmente llevar la comida a las mesas, decidió mirarlo fijamente durante diez minutos. Cuando finalmente sacó la comida, estaba fría y tuvo que ser recalentada. This is the thing I love about Bristol.....we went to pop to the horrific chain pub for a quick meal, located near by. Yep. Full.. Wandered across the bridge and behold. Veeno. Two things we love, Charcuterie Boards and wine. Well hello! Son had a pizza. Also great but the boards. My god. Perfect. The meat, the cheese, the bread. Fantastic quality and flavours. The house tap - yep, tap wine. Was great. Excellent waitress. She was definitely full of life. Loved her! Kudos my friend. Can't wait to come back. Feel like I've found a secret location despite being a Bristol native! Not "cheap" but you get what you pay for and the afore mentioned chain is just over the way!

Absolutamente asqueroso que pedimos una entrega que no resultó entonces se le pidió que recoger cuando llegamos allí se presentó con la comida fría helada que habíamos pedido hace 90 minutos tuvo que insistir en que nos cocinaron alimentos frescos y cuando llegó a casa la mitad de ella faltaba y realmente pobre definitivamente nunca volvería a pedir esto también costó £ 83 completo desperdicio de dinero.

Visited this wonderful little restaurant in Bristol twice during a short stay in the city. What a total gem! There is a lovely atmosphere in which to enjoy a superb meal. The service we received from James was outstanding. We were celebrating my wife's birthday on the second occasion we visited and James could not do enough for us. My advice, if you're in Bristol GO to this restaurant, you won't be disappointed.

Nice & reasonably priced wines and really good food ! I will defo revisit 😋 they also sell wines they serve so I ended up buying three bottles! Forgot to take pics of the food bc we were so hungry and inhaled them as soon as they were served.

We were given a wine and meat pairing for two as a gift. The experience was great with fantastic service. We even had extra wine and pizza!! Definitely recommend.

Was a perfect way to spend the afternoon after a busy day, it had a very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Our waitress Sophie was very kind and welcoming when taking our orders, and our food was served shortly after. Would definitely recommended.

Yesterday we celebrated my son Jordan’s graduation at Veeno in Bristol, and the experience was nothing short of fantastic. The whole evening was memorable, thanks in large part to our wonderful server, Catalin, who went above and beyond to make the evening special for our family. My son and his girlfriend opted for the “Trip to Sicily” wine tasting experience, which they thoroughly enjoyed. The wines, paired with the wonderful flavors of Sicily, were exceptional. They also had a vegan sharing board, which they both found delicious and well thought out, with food that paired perfectly with the wines. My mother and I enjoyed the pizza and pasta, both of which were outstanding. I would have loved to join in on the wine tasting, but unfortunately I was the designated driver from South Wales, so I’ll have to save that treat for next time. Catalin was awesome, and he really made the evening special. We really enjoyed ourselves, are left with great memories, and would definitely like to return ❤️

Nice place, looses a star as quite keen to charge table service. Even if you go to a bar they’ll suggest they’ll bring out the bottle however this comes at a charge and if you were at the bar they could just pass the bottle over then… Do decent food, no complaints on the vegan pizza 👍🏾

I booked the Sicilian wine tasting as a 50th birthday. We were not disappointed. The wines were gorgeous and our wine expert Mike was very knowledgeable and friendly. The sharing platter that comes included was so lovely. Delicious breads, meats, cheeses and other picky bits. The dessert was to die for all pared with a moorish dessert wine. The whole experience was brilliant and I will definitely be booking another one. It made me reminisce of family holidays in Italy. The hardest part of the day was choosing which wines were our favourite so we could buy a few bottles to take home!!!

The only reason it's not 5 stars for atmosphere was because it was a quiet afternoon, but still a lovely venue.

We booked the finest Italian wine tasting and Anaïs took great care of us. She talked us through each wine, was very attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed, including complimentary limoncello 😋 She had great knowledge of each wine and offered her opinions as well as suggestions on food and wine pairings. It was all round a really nice experience ☺️

I organised a work night out it was so easy we pre-ordered and the communication with the restaurant was brilliant. The restaurant was lovely and the table was laid out superbly. We were greeted with the warmest of welcomes and served immediately. The food came out in timely fashion was freshly made and delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant so well priced 3 courses for 19.99 I'm so happy I found this gem and can't wait to return. Thank you to all the staff Enzo, Arthur, Mike, Ana and Cara for your amazing service with a smile.

We were gifted a voucher for an " Italian afternoon tea." Found the restaurant and it was busy at a lunchtime. Mostly local office staff from areas nearby. Great choice of food and wines so we will return. Our afternoon tea was amazing. Focaccia bread sarnies og roasted veg n mozzarella, salmon !!, cured hands, salad. Then asset scones and lemon cake and canollis

This was my second visit to Veeno and both times have been great. The service is outstanding - warm, friendly and efficient - and the food is excellent. It can get a little noisy inside as it fills up, which is the downside of being popular!

Lovely little place close to Temple meads. A great selection of wines cocktails and other drinks. The food options were great as well, but the food I felt was just okay, nothing out of the world. It might be it was just that day, but I am curious to try again. Would recommend the Aperitivo as you get a lot on your board.

Had an impromptu lunch with work colleagues this week. Turned up as a group of 6 and were fitted in (outside seating). Had the lunch menu items which were all appetising. I chose the basic pizza which was done very well. Pricing good and food was delivered to table quickly. Nice little spot to visit.

Disappointed! Ordered the pesto spaghetti, which was the most bland and tasteless version of this dish i’ve ever had…oh and my starter came after my main and it wasn't even busy.

Unfortunately I have just had a really bad experience in Veeno in Bristol. I was enjoying a drink after work as I regularly do as i live very locally and I wanted to enjoy my 15% off food voucher . After ordering I went to pay and redeem my voucher, where I was told by management that they couldn’t accept it as it had already been used. I received the voucher on the 1/8/24 and had been out of the country untill the 8th so I had obviously not had the chance to use it. Where I was told rudely, that someone else must have access to my emails. I explained that this was not possible and wanted this looked into . Where I was passed the managers business card and he told me ‘he was head office.’ What a shame that this lovely restaurant now has extremely rude staff, who are not willing to offer their own companies discount vouchers.

Great place if you love wine and good food. The staff are very friendly and always attentive. There knowledge of the wines they survey is excellent. The building can be a little noisy as the sound seems to echo around but a great atmosphere.

It was really nice the atmosphere was amazing, great place for a date the price was pretty good considering the amount of food it is, we got two three course evening meals and was really pleased, after you can have a walk around the many bridges which is very romantic, honestly highly recommend, a lady staff member was very friendly she was so sweet and kind just what you need, it was my first time going out to a restaurant to eat it was lovely the only thing was the food took slightly longer to come than i expected but other than that it was amazing highly recommend, the food was great,

We hosted our engagement party here and had the best night! The staff were extremely accommodating. The sun was out so our friends and family were able to mingle out by the water until later, when we all headed in to enjoy the DJ. Food was tasty! And the drinks were good. Thank you! 🙏🏼

Nos hizo esperar al letrero mientras lo veíamos pasar de la cocina al bar y solo después de varios minutos se acercó de nuevo con una sonrisa fija preguntando “¿Mesa para dos?” - ¡como si los minutos anteriores no se hubieran producido! Evitamos GBK por algún tiempo después de esto y felizmente hemos conocido al personal amable servicial desde entonces. Hasta ayer. ) Todo lo que voy a decir es... Si este fuera mi restaurante no estaría colocando frente a casa a alguien que el principal impulso es proyectar sus frustraciones abrumadoras incontenibles e inmanejables sobre sus clientes desprevenidos. Yo sugeriría 5 veces a la semana psicoanálisis. El narcisismo puede ser difícil de trabajar, pero siempre hay esperanza. Una persona profundamente infeliz. Pero las hamburguesas son muy bonitas.

Went here with my Mechdyne coworkers. Good service and great atmosphere paired with nice food made my day. Stools are way too tall for round glass tables to eat, do not sit there if you 6ft or taller.Get a proper table. Ended up eating there many times for lunch, great experience

We had a lovely meal sharing pizza, grande board and other small tapas dishes and it was delicious. One of the party was gluten and dairy free and they accommodated with a good selection. I didn't get the waiters name but he was incredible. Really made up feel welcome, informed and not rushed. Would definitely recommend if you fancy nice wine and food.

Server was welcoming and pleasant. We arrived early but we're seated. We had a savoury afternoon tea which we were told would be freshly prepared for us. Indeed, the sandwiches/rolls were made with Italian bread which was fresh and served slightly warm. The fillings were delightful. Particularly liked the spicy chicken one The lemon custard tart was gorgeous. I feel it is one of the better afternoon teas I've had, but would still prefer more savoury then sweet. We had a whole platter of sweets with scones and cakes and when we had finished an additional traditional Tiramisu was served for two to share. It's not my favourite pudding, but was beautifully made and very rich and tasty. The house red wine was amazing. I would recommend and return when I'm in the area again. well placed to the train station is traveling by rail and a 15/20min walk to the centre along the riverside.

The food and drinks were very delicious however we had such a bad experience with the waitress which seems to be borrowed and very unwelcoming that altered our experience... Not sure to come back sadly.

We tried the wine tasting experience and absolutely loved it. Alessia was a great host and very informative about each of the wines. The charcuterie board was amazing along with the tiramisu dessert to finish. Had a great time and recommend it to anybody who loves wine and charcuterie.

Pretty quick service for a Saturday night and staff very helpful and friendly. Atmosphere felt a bit light, but not a great deal of passing trade and I wasn't in the best spot to feel part of things. However, can't fault the food and price, so thank you again!

I visited the Bristol branch to try the new menu. For starters we had the garlic bread with cheese, with truffle honey, it was nice but you can’t go really go wrong with that dish. However the new Italian nachos were awful, no cheese, tiny amount of pancetta and we think the white sauce tasted just like mayo, they were truly terrible. For mains we had the salmon pasta, it was unfortunately tasteless, tiny bits of salmon flakes and pure salt - we couldn’t finish it. The spicy sausage ravioli was pretty tasty and had punch of spice. I tried to leave feedback with the servers but the response I got was well it is half price because of the new menu offer, which was pretty disappointing considering its such a nice restaurant we would have liked to go back but no way would I pay full price for that quality of food, they did however remove the salmon dish as it was inedible. The service was slow and a bit clumsy, we felt like they kept forgetting about our table and rushed us out, didn’t ask if we wanted any more drinks. The saving grace was the beautiful wine, I’ve been before for the wine tasting experience with a sharing board and enjoyed that much better, which would make more sense as there’s limited cooking required. We walked past tables who had pizzas and thought they may be a better choice.

My friend and I decided to go to GBK for lunch today in Bristol as the one in our local town has been shut down for a few years now and we really enjoyed it before its closure… however todays visit has shocked us at how downhill it has gotten. Service was fine and simple, however didn’t ask if we was pleased with our food, which I certainly wasn’t but I’m not the one to take it out on the waiters as not their fault. I ordered the ‘cheese and bacon burger’ with ‘chunky chips’. The thought of eating this burger now makes me feel sick, in fact, I have been sick since returning home from my day out :(. Ordered my burger ‘medium well’, was very over done and burnt, bacon was very fatty like, the only thing I liked was the salad inside the burger :/. The chunky chips weren’t the same as they were years ago, and actually were underdone. Cold and hard to eat, I believe I only ate 2 and left the rest as was inedible. Furthermore, I left half my burger uneaten too as couldn’t stomach any more of this. My friend and I aren’t the type of people to complain but really wish we did now considering how unwell we are feeling currently . And we have no clue what has made us feel so unwell as that’s all we had eaten in the day. After leaving GBK we carried on with our shopping trip and within half an hour we was beginning to sweat and getting stomach cramps which lead to us desperately needing the toilet. We didn’t feel comfortable / in a fit state / in pain to carry on shopping so we went home. Within an hour of being home… (trigger warning) I threw up what I had eaten for lunch. Multiple times… I then couldn’t stomach my own dinner at home and remained in bed with stomach cramps, this has then lead me to call in sick to work as I work with vulnerable elderly people. I have now lost income due to eating half a beef burger which was over done so who knows what has made me feel so unwell but my fingers are pointing at GBK, as said previously, this is all I had eaten all day. Contacted my friend to see if they were feeling okay as I was feeling the opposite of okay!! They then proceeded to tell me they was in the same state as me. UNWELL!! I think this is the worst food I’ve eaten in a long time as my immune system is quite good, but clearly after GBK I needed to let it all out of my gut!!!

Only was here for take away pizza while staying in Bristol, but the pizzas were outstanding. Quality ingredients, superb taste.

Visited on a Thursday evening, it was very busy despite terrible weather and it was a good job we had booked in advance. My wife and I ordered wine and the sharing board which was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and I highly recommend it.

Went in on a date and just wow! They have a new manager since the last time I came and whatever he's doing is working. Food was amazing (compliments to the chefs!) Service was fantastic and the Manager (James I think?) made us feel like we were VIPs. I would thoroughly recommend coming to Veeno. Thankyou James!

Booked a table only to be told they were fully booked Could see a few empty tables!

Unfortunately Veeno Bristol seems to be engaging in an illegal practice of having different prices on the menu as opposed to their till, resulting in ever-so-slightly higher prices than the customers are aware of when putting an order through. I've been to Veeno multiple times and always had a great time in terms of food and drinks, so I decided to host my partner's birthday there. I made a booking for wine and nibbles for a group and the venue kindly allowed me to bring my own cheese celebration cake (I still paid full price for wine and nibbles, and we just adjusted the nibble part). They have provided us with space and everything we needed, and the guests had a lovely time. When it came to paying, I had no issue paying the service charge (as I know setting up tables takes time), but this is where I realised that I've been overcharged. It turns out that the prices for the wine and nibbles package are different on the menu (both printed and online) than they are on the till in store. The difference in price between the menu and the till is about 45p per person, which adds up in case of my booking of a group. Once I raised this with the management, I got a refund, but it seemed to me that this isn't often raised. It could be that many people don't notice this difference, as the manager seemed quite surprised this is the case and had to make some phone calls to approve my refund. I can only hope the issue will be rectified next time myself or any of my friends come to the venue, as the food and drinks are lovely, but I can't in good faith endorse this practice by providing a spotless review.

I love this place! The gluten free pizza is genuinely nice, so much nicer than other places in Bristol. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the location is really good if you need to get to templemeads.
