I needed a quick snack before going to the hospital. What I had quick and good.

We had English full breakfast here and it was lush. They has highchair which was great. They had a/c on when it was a bit cold and wet outside and made our food cold quicker and made us a bit cold. Overall its great cafe and has lots of choices on menu. It didn't take long for food to arrive. They accept cash only.

Stopped here after my partner had a sudden craving for an all day breakfast. The fayre was excellent value for money with plenty of options that allow you to choose the components of your breakfast, though I was not a great fan of the sausage but I am fussy. The coffee was unexpectedly superb and yes, as I said before I am fussy! I really admired the way in which they took great pride in what they do and in keeping the place clean

This has been my favourite breakfast spot for about 5 years. They are always busy with loads of locals from Southmead which speaks to their consistent quality and service. Chris the owner will always greet you with a smile and knows my order (I am a creature of habit 😂).

Good food at a good price, and a selection of coffees. I drink tea but am informed the coffee is good too.

I’ve visited this place twice now. The first time was for 2 breakfasts for me and my partner, the second time was for curry chips and rice. It’s safe to say I won’t be visiting again. The breakfast was awful, nothing was cooked correctly for that perfect breakfast. The curry was extremely disappointing, the chicken once again was no cooked correctly. For mouthwatering chicken you need to par boil the chicken before cooking it or it becomes dry and tasteless. The curry itself was bland it needs more flavour I would also suggest adding peppers and more onion. The rice tasted like microwave rice. I’m unsure why this place has good ratings for its food??? The members of staff however, are extremely friendly and make you feel very welcome, they have a genuine care for their customers.

I must say that ever since they have been opened. And I've gone to order food whether being to sit in and eat or better still taking away. Every time I had purchased from here they have been very professional curtoius clean and very up together cleanliness also very fast aswell never been waiting longer than 5minuites for my food to come to me. And also another point ide like to say is that at every time I go there or even if just passing by I've always had a hello how are you doing followed by a smile or thumbs up. Proper guys really nice inviorment to take the kids and other family members to eat and just to chill out aswell

We go in regular for breakfast. The service is excellent & friendly & lovely atmosphere nothing it to much trouble. If there is something on the menu you want to change they are more then accommodating.

Great service, always friendly, phoned the other day and arrived to a cooked breakfast and tea; piping hot sat at the table. Great quality ingredients used and never compromised Best cafe for a few miles 👌

Wonderful café, made the poor mistake recently of going to The Bristol Kitchen in the Galleries in city centre to get a jacket potato with chilli which is my usual at Express Café, which was awful and I wished I'd waited till I got back home to Southmead. These guys however get it spot on every time, even bringing me a perfect meal in very good time when they were busy and the café was full. Left them a decent tip more than once as they always get it spot on, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Can't recommend them enough!

Everytime me and my partner get food from here its always the wrong order an charges for extras but don't give to you as u got a different meal from what you ordered the beans came cold and this has happened to me before multiple times and continues to happen my partner don't even find the meal even enjoyable anymore

Wow I'm changing my review! The chap behind the till was ok, but no smile. The cook was something else altogether, bad attitude, the bread was stale, I asked for spread which was not given. It was ok when I came in last perhaps they were having an off day.

I was after a nice cooked breakfast and what I got was a nice cooked breakfast. Served efficiently by a friendly cooked, it was of adequate size and reasonably priced. What else do you need. Free parking outside too.
