We have been here before and returned a second time after having a good first experience. felt very authentic in there and staff made us feel at home. food was amazing ( i can recommend the fillet steak) we had no faults at all as even when they were busy they assured us they had not forgotten about our table :)

A lovely restaurant, I booked for a group of 11 and the service was amazing through out! The food was great and hearty, the tiramisu was particularly stand out. I would definitely come again.

Our first visit to Di Meo. My daughter and her family have visited previously. Staff were attentive, nice to see older people running a restaurant. The food was amazing, the portions were extremely generous. Had a lovely evening. Will definitely go back.

Really good food and service was quick.

Another lovely meal, this time I went from the specials board and received a delicious monkfish dish.. I have only ordered pizzas here before so was really pleasantly surprised at the quality of the dish. The chef clearly knows what they are doing and the quality of textures and flavours would not have been out of place in Casa.. great stuff, thanks again. Service great as usual.

Popped in on a Wednesday evening and the place was empty except for a group of older Italian gents in the corner. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Definitely likely to go again.

Love the quality of the food , menu covers certainly everything I like , meats, pasta , pizza , the place outside you may well walk past, and inside is clean but old fashioned , rustic old world charm , not posh , just where we like to go always a friendly atmosphere. Years ago they used to be in Clifton village , and purchased whole area by council , maybe 25 years ago, so found again by accident , and the two ‘elderly ‘chaps still own and run it , it’s delightful to return ,

Di Meo is my favourite Italian restaurant in Bristol. Authentic and reasonably priced, with friendly service. It does not look inspiring from the outside but its cosy ond comfortable within.

Another great meal with my young son. Really warm reception, great pizzas and pleasant unfussy ambience. We have been here about 3 times since last review but you can only write one per month lol.

The food were delicious it you want an authentic Italian restaurant in Bristol this a place to go. The prices were very reasonable as well. Been here twice and it’s always been consistent with good service and good food

Spaghetti vongole and a perfectly cooked sirloin steak ,well priced house red, traditional atmosphere ,( a dying breed unfortunately ), very reasonably priced , we love it there!

I regularly go here when I have visitors to stay. It’s a lovely little authentic Italian with really friendly staff and the food is always piping hot and delicious. Very reasonably priced too!

I always try to go to Di Meo when visiting family in Bristol. I just love the cosy, atmosphere and great food. There's a good choice on the menu and prices are reasonable. It is family run and is a nice change from the usual snazzy chains. Sometimes they put on a bit of Italian opera background music, which is a nice touch. I'm surprised it is not busier, but we usually go on a weekday so maybe at weekends it is full.

I’m so glad I booked this restaurant! We went there years ago then Covid hit then I used to order delivery which they I unfortunately no longer do but being there was so lovely! Very authentic, reasonably priced, heart Italian food. Just what was needed. Thank you and Happy Christmas x

We meet twice a year and in past years (pre Covid) this was our restaurant of choice. It was great to be back.

Do not have the fillet steak, full of grissel very dissatisfied fillet steak is a pleasure to have, of a 8 oz steak fillet I took 6 oz home for the dog.

Our local Go-To Italian restaurant. Simply gorgeous, authentic, perfectly cooked Italian food at its very best by an Italian chef. The varied menu makes it difficult to chose, especially when they have the specials board on the go. The atmosphere completely Italian. I recommened it to a friend who is hugely well travelled & knows his food who was visiting the city & he is now raving about it & wants to revisit just to eat at Di Meo! Just superb

Superb authentic Italian food - once you step inside you could be in Italy! All dishes we had were delicious including Garlic bread starter and profiteroles for dessert 😀

I've been taking pizza few time and this time wasn't good at all.. lots of "fior di latte mozzarella", which is definitely not and the pizza was not cooked properly.. half of it was completely white.. definitely not worth £25

This is our regular local Italian, loved by so many of us. Back again last week for another marvellous meal in friendly relaxed surroundings. Excellent Primitivo & the food divine. Thank you friends at di Meo & see you again soon

Pizza is great. Staff are nice. Service is quick. 1 star off as it's very cold in there no heating and also 1 star off as the drinks are tiny. That aside ... Great food and a really nice place. So all round a great place and much better than pizzarover or whatever it's called down the road

This little place has been here for years and years, with the same owner/front of house. And am not sure the prices have increased in all that time. It's still our go-to place for honest, tasty italian food. The menu has stayed pretty much the same, with a small number of specials. Generous portions and we've never had anything that hasn't been well-cooked and delicious. Very 'traditional', cosy decor, but that's all part of its charm. Great to see somewhere that is still happy to display paintings of fruit on the walls, and bottles of wine as decoration. Background music is wonderfully random, from italian euro-pop to classical opera. House wine by the caraf is quaffable and reasonably priced, and a good, strong espresso to round off.

We visited recently on a Saturday night hoping for good Italian food from this local restaurant. Unfortunately our experience was very disappointing from start to finish. Our drinks order was initially forgotten - a minor issue only but started things off on a bad foot....

Cozy atmosphere, family feeling restaurant!

This place is amazing. The food is too die for. The place reminds me of a trattoria. The brothers are very friendly and the food is traditional home cooked Italian, just like mama used to make. If you've not been, you have to try.
