Pizza, spaghetti, risotto, sides, we have really enjoyed everything, they’re all hits in our book!

Great pizza, and a family owned business. What's stands out are the fresh ingredients, which you don't often get from corporate pizza joints.

Popped in to order a takeaway pizza. Had it freshed baked and didn't have to wait long. Great service and great tasting pizza. Would definitely recommend.

Takeaway- I have rated the same for all categories even though it was takeaway and obviously couldn’t rate the service/ atmosphere. I think this restaurant deserves a good rating so I’m happy to provide it. The food is very tasty and really juicy flavours in the lasagne. It’s my first time ordering from here but won’t be my last! 😋

Ordered 2 pizzas on the buy 1 get 1 free and was charged £1.50 more than the advertised price. Was told by staff that the extra was the service charge set by management. An explanation to this would be appreciated

Ordered their lasagna, unfortunately it felt like eating melted cheese with sauce on it, barely any lasagna sheet just a bunch of melted cheese. I separated the cheese from the lasagna and it ended up being more than half the container that was just cheese

The dough did not taste as "Italian" as I expected .. but otherwise, it was brilliant. Great service. Thumbs up for having genuine Italian pizza variations. The only place where the seafood pizza is seafood pizza not just shrimp and anchovies. Will be back !

Bit of a joke really 😅 Rang at 17:36 on 8/12 to order something for pickup- when asking if you had a chicken Parmesan, was met with a rather condescending “maybe you should’ve checked the menu before calling”, then I responded “perhaps I order from an alternate restaurant”, to a response of “okay”. Pizza Workshop happily accepted my business ☺️

My favourite pizza place in bristol. Nice thin bases but loaaaads of cheese. The arancini is also incredible. In fact everything I’ve tried has been delicious, hot and arrived quickly. Will you ever reopen inside for dining in?

Excellent genuine local Italian restaurant. Friendly welcome, quick ordering and good service. It reminds us of our many happy holidays to Italy. Unlike the dire Italian resturant further down Whitelades Road (Rustca), Pazza Di Roma are what Italian restaurants are known for: friendly, warm and they can cook! Overall, highly recommended and we look forward to lots more yummy pizza!

Really good food and surprisingly fast served. Although all this is good the drinks were so expensive, a little bottle of cocacola 3£, that's really 🫰. Isn't it? But the rest is really good

Piazza Di Roma serves amazing, authentic Italian food at great value. I've been ordering from them over the course of the pandemic and will continue to as its the best Italian food in Bristol delivered directly to my door. The have really good vegetarian options. Penne Sicilliana and Penne Piazza di Roma are my favourites and the Tiramisu is the best I have had.

The pizza is really authentic and super tasty! I also had the arancini with Alioli dip... game changer. I would definitely recommend to locals and tourists like myself. I spoke with the manager over the phone and his service was impeccable. My name imprinted on the box was a lovely touch. I recommend highly!

Good quality of pizza with reasonable price. It's closer to the typical Domino's pizza rather than Neapolitan pizza. Good quality Neapolitan pizza > Piazza Di Roma > typical "American" pizza/Domino's

A truly delicious pepperoni pizza, friendly service, and a very reasonable price! Pepperoni was very high quality deli-style cured meat, the pizza sauce was really flavourful and herby, and the (optional) garlic oil and chilli flakes added another dimension. The perfect pepperoni pizza!

I love their pasta di Roma (I think that’s the name - named after the restaurant) with cream sauce and peas and mushrooms. It’s just so tasty. I’ve also had great lasagna from here multiple times. Staff are super friendly, they’re great at estimating time for collection and it’s reasonably priced.

This is a lockdown treat. Pizzas as they are meant to be. I’ve had several of my favourites from this menu - authentic Italian, joyously proportioned and always delicious. The Pescatore (seafood) pizza is a medley of maritime marvellousness. Lockdown lovely.

Disgusting pizza, pepperoni on pizza stinks and tastes really weird. I couldn't finish one piece bleeh. Quattro formagi rubbish as well. Waste of money. Never again.

We ordered pizza as a takeaway, due to coronavirus restrictions, although some pasta dishes are available. The pizzas were excellent, were ready on time, and very good. Next time we’ll try the pasta !

Piazza di Roma has been getting us through 2020 with delicious takeaway pizzas, made quickly and traditionally at competitive prices! We love the team and can’t wait to come and visit once things re-open again. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I love this restaurant - we used to go whenever we fancied an Italian dinner out, and since lockdown have had takeaway pizzas from them a number of times. Far, far better quality than a generic takeaway pizza, would recommend! Looking forward to when they fully reopen :-)

I adore this restaurant. I've come here many times and every experience has been nothing short of perfect. Service is amazing, such kind waiters and the chef never fails to impress. Even on a busy Saturday evening food is served quicker than at most places. Incredible authentic Italian food at a modest price. Well done Piazza, I highly recommend.

Having walked past this little restaurant many times, 4 of us ate here last night and it was excellent! The pizzas were really good - thin, crisp bases that stayed good right to the last slice, and they are large pizzas too. Good whitebait and side salads, delicious plum crumble tart and ice cream and a wonderful affagato (vanilla ice cream with a tiny mug of espresso to pour over the top). Nice warm atmosphere and service and it didn’t break the bank. Thank you!

Lovely little traditional Italian place. Pizzas were incredible. Service and staff were absolutely perfect in demeanor and faultless. Atmosphere and decor lovely and comforting. The only negative is the toilet area could really do with improving.

Service was great which is why I give two stars. Food was average at best, not authentic nor great tasting. However we only had the pizzas - these were bland and full of olives. I can't comment about the other italian dishes.

Just rang (6.30 ) to order 2 pizzas and was told not taking take away orders as too busy ..... not given an option to come back later.I was not in a hurry and was spoken to quite curtly. I’ve used this restaurant for many many years . Strange way to treat regulars,strange way to run a business . Oh well off to Bosco .

Had a visit here on a Sunday evening booked in advance which I would recommend as a small quaint place. Went with my partner was a lovely intimate setting and I can not recommend this place for service enough the guy who served us was absolutely amazing very attentive all you could ask for and more. I went for the special starter of avocado al forno, wow was so yummy so glad I got to sample this dish. Very reasonably priced def will be returning. Defo a place to go

I love this place! The food is brilliant and the service is great. Can be a little slow on a busy night but it's never a problem as the food is excellent and the staff are consciousness. Fantastic value for money too. We will keep going back!

Eaten here before and always good so picked up two Pizzas for takeaway on way home. Never expect much from takeaways but both Pizzas were really good. No more phoning Dominos again. Also cheaper here than Dominos.

My boyfriend and I recently ordered a take-away pizza from this place to go and eat in the park, and it was so filling and delicious! Real authentic Italian made to order pizza! Loved it!! Also looked lovely to dine in because of the charming decor and atmosphere, maybe next time!! :)

We went here for the first time on our way into town after Pride last weekend. The staff accommodated us as a table of five late on a Saturday night, which we were really grateful for. Food was great and just what we needed after a day in the sun! The staff were lovely (especially the young woman who was on her first shift!) and very patient considering we were all quite drunk and loud (sorry about that!) Would definitely recommend if you're in the area.

Visited with three friends last week. It was booked by another in our group who was unfortunately unable to join us. Boy, did he miss out. We each opted for the £13.50 two course meal. Two of us had bruschetta and two went for the whitebait. Both portions were very generous and tasty. We all ordered pizzas and when they arrived they looked great. Pizza can be so disappointing but not these ones. Lovely thin crust, bubbling cheese and a couple of toppings. Really very good. We had a nice long time chatting at the table after we ate and paid but we weren’t made to feel uncomfortable about staying on. Decent service, lovely food. Give it a try.

My wife and I dined here early on a Wednesday evening. The restaurant was very quiet but still felt authentic and relaxing. The Server was very good. The food exceptional. I'm not a big fan of Pizza but this was by far the best Pizza I have eaten outside of Rome. I highly recommend this restaurant, I doubt any pizza in Bristol comes near.

Ideal para familias. Me encanta la Penne Siciliana. A mi hijo le encanta la pizza de pepperoni y a mi otro no le cansan los espaguetis boloñeses. La comida italiana tiene que ver con el simple uso de excelentes ingredientes. Pizza DI Roma hace esto bien. Desde el momento en que muerdes tu primer trozo de focaccia crujiente hasta el momento en que tomas tu última gota de expreso, obtienes todo el sabor que promete la comida italiana. No es nada alucinante, es simple y buena comida. Vale la pena una visita y seguro que te hará sentir satisfecho.

Fuimos a cenar justo después de las 8 sin reserva, pero eso no fue un problema. Hubo una cálida bienvenida y muchas mesas ya llenas. una gran variedad de entrantes, los hígados de pollo italianos eran realmente buenos, al igual que los calamares, había una buena selección de pizzas, pastas y otros platos. Ambos teníamos pizza, ambos eran de un tamaño generoso (¡demasiado generoso para mí!) Una buena botella de color rojo y una factura muy razonable. Sin duda volvería.

Cené temprano el sábado por la noche, caminé fuera de la calle sin reserva y nos hicieron sentir bienvenidos y nos mostraron una mesa. El servicio fue cálido y considerado y contribuyó a la sensación hogareña que irradiaba este establecimiento. Tuve una pizza simple que era muy agradable y crujiente, estoy un poco cansada de la nueva pizza de masa fermentada que se ofrece en la mayoría de los lugares en este día, así que tener una pizza tradicional a la antigua era una delicia, mi esposa también tenía una pizza de atún y Terminé tomando la mitad de la casa en la caja para el almuerzo del día siguiente. Aunque era temprano, el lugar estaba muy ocupado, lo que respaldaba nuestra opinión de que era un restaurante honesto y muy hogareño que ofrece comida casera sin los lujos de cadenas más grandes.

Después de un largo día y al no encontrar nada en la nevera, decidimos venir aquí porque está muy cerca de casa y hemos tenido la intención de visitarlo durante años. Muy contento de haberlo hecho!

Overall a good restaurant - large & varied menu, good wines and good service. The food is solid - nice flavours & good portion sizes. The restaurant lacks a bit of atmosphere and is slightly stuck in a time-warp, but overall a nice place to go and good value for money. There are however far better Italian restaurants in Bristol if you're willing to spend a few extra £££.

Very authentic Italian food, great atmosphere and service

Lovely small basic trattoria on Blackboy Hill serving very nice comfort Italian dishes including excellent pizzas and pasta. Not sure whether fresh pasta is used and no wood fired ovens here but service is friendly, food and wines we had were excellent and we would all certainly go again. Recommended.

I have made a few visits over the last couple of years and have left each time having enjoyed some very good food in a friendly environment.

We had a great meal. The service and personal attention was so good. I loved the fact you could choose each dish as a starter or main course to suit your appetite. The white bate was perfectly combined with crispy breadcrumbs but fresh succulent fish. Great for vegetarians as my aubergine so she was delicious. Typically Italian with a good sauce and lots of olive oil.

What a nice surprise - certainly worth seeking out. We have been there a few times now and it is consistently good. This is a welcome difference from the dreary food of chain Italian restaurants where everything tastes bland and similar. All the pasta dishes here taste different and nice - clearly they have a passion for doing Italian food with care and flair. The pasta is done perfectly and their sauces are constructed with a lovely balance of different flavours. The pizza’s are similarly individually prepared and cooked to perfection. This is a lovely find - but keep it quiet or it will come too popular!

I booked this purely on trip advisor reviews and was not disappointed. Booked table for 12 and received excellent service and food. It was a Tuesday night and there was only one waiter and chef on, but they coped brilliantly and the time between courses suited us so we could enjoy company etc.

Great little Italian, unassuming from the outside but the service and food were excellent. Very reasonably priced too. Would definitely recommend and go back to again. The toilet is outside and up a back alley but it was clean and tidy.

This restaurant is deceiving as from the outside you would probably just walk past it. The restaurant is small but a nice atmosphere and it was busy with early evening offers.The food we had was excellent, cooked very well, hot and well presented. We had the whitebait and mussels for starters. For mains we had Lasagne and Smoked salmon, pasta with vodka and asparagus. We could not fault it at all. I have to say the service from the waiter was exceptional and his attention to detail was brilliant. Much better Italian meal than some other more well known Italians in Bristol and the pricing was very fair. We will be returning and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone

This place serves the best pizza in bristol without a doubt. Love it! The atmosphere and service is warm and genuine and the food is freshly cooked magic.

We arrived at gone 9pm, freezing cold because of the snow storms. We had a warm and friendly welcome and delicious food. Our waiter even out the heater right beside our table as it was so cold. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

Nice location and fairly cheap but not the best quality food and a little cramped inside. Try Bosco down the road for better Italian fare.

Nice little Italian specialising in pizzas and pastas. They have some good deals to take advantage of. It’s all done well, but nothing to run home singing about. The chicken wings were particularly tasty so I would recommend them. Had the steak once or twice and it was good.
