Absolutely remarkable restaurant, I have been here with a few of my dearest friends and the service is impeccable.
The quality of the food is unmatched, I haven’t tasted food like since my gap year travelling the world.
If I could, I would eat here everyday.
Portion sizes are large, so get ready to pay for one meal and ending up with dinner today and tomorrow!
I'm somewhat of a like what I like kind of person and try to avoid things 8ve never tried. I've been getting the best crispy bacon sandwich weekly for years but I tried the Hearty bap earlier.....oh my days!
It was absolutely delicious and very good value. Sausage bacon fried egg in a soft white bun. Was banging.
Thank you
Paid £25 for an hour of sheesha here and then was rudely told after half an hour that they would be closing. We asked for our money back for the time that we lost, but the owner refused and instead offered a small discount on our next visit. Given how we were treated, we will not be coming back! The owner tries to incentivise you to leave a good review by offering free shots, but the service is rude and they are looking to rip you off.
All I can say is WOW!!!! Best Chinese food I’ve ever tasted! 10/10. Had a meal in there a few weeks back and not stopped ordering their takeaway since. Best Chinese in Newton hands down!
What a delightful evening learning how to make a door wreath. A lovely welcome with snow suddenly falling over the entrance ! The wreath making demonstration was informal with everything supplied to make and design your own wreath after tucking into a scrummy snack menu and mulled wine finishing off the evening with a mince pie ! Just perfect !!!
We had lunch here yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Choose The Big Salad! We did. Highly recommended. Good food, friendly staff, and very good value.
The small plates were delicious. The pureed pistachio with red onion jam was fantastic, as was the smoked duck. Also the spiced chicken strips were unexpectedly delicious!
Trabajar localmente y esto es mi ir - a buscar café. La variedad que se ofrece, además del personal amable y bien informado, lo hacen una necesidad si eres un amante del café como yo.
Visited as a family and the ice cream was superb. My daughter and wife had different flavours but the quality and taste they loved them. I had the sorbet and the taste was superb and full of flavour. Lovely sitting outside by the harbour with the sun. Well worth a visit
Don’t miss visiting this delightful, quirky tea rooms. Bruce, the American proprietor, will give you value for money with his banter alone. That being said you are sure of a warm welcome and will not be disappointed by his wares.
We stopped on our way to Barbrook for a delicious cream tea - great choice of tea or coffee, plain or fruit, homemade, light as a feather, scones and strawberry or raspberry jam options too.
After our holiday what better way to end it than tucking into an amazing breakfast. Don’t take my word for it, call in and try it for yourself - I grantee it will put a smile on your face and you will go back!
Wanted to like. Wanted to support local independents. But, honestly, not very good. Feels like someone has tried a gourmet burger somewhere else and gone: "I can do that!"
Dry overcoooked patty. Unmelted cheese. All fell apart.
