So to summarise. The Surrey Hills cafe is superb.
Really great quality of ingredients in the full english, the sausages and bacon are clearly high quality.
A really great variety of ingredients-for example rarely do you get bubble and squeak as an option on a full english anymore but yes here they do.
Everything is presented really well.
The staff are freindly and welcoming.
Its just all round a great place for breakfast or lunch.
Prices are great-for the quality and amount of items you get on a breakfast it really is amazing value.
Quality of food is simply exceptional, if you really want a taste of Sicily you will definitely find it at Ciccio's! From staff to high quality products, this place is the top, will definitely come back.

Upmarket wine tasting. Sommelier Tom and his wine-panneled (!) room for an hour long tasting sessions are impeccable. For maximum enjoyment, book one of six rooms for an overnight stay and check out one of the local restaurants within walking distance.
Lovely setting in the little garden area, very relaxing and pretty area. The staff are so friendly and make you feel comfortable and welcome, always smiling and very warm. Decent breakfast and a great cup of tea. Thank you, will drop by again 😊
I bought 4 tubs of Gelati:- Stracciatella, Rasberry, Chochlate Orange, Mascarpone
for my birthday dinner party treat & we were not disappointed with the delicious flavours & quality on the Gelati! 100% Quality best Icecream every bought!
Wow, this place continues to empress me. What more does someone want in the morning: brilliant flat white, great relaxed vibe, friendly staff.
I opted for the Korean hash which totally blew me away. Just the right spice, lovely sauce, tender fall apart beef complemented by the onions. Possibly the tastiest different breakfast I’ve had!
My wife had the full English: home made hash browns, crispy and light. Herby farmyard sausage, sweet little tomatoes and thick crispy bacon.
Go here, just what the Dr ordered!
Great place to hide from the sun, food was the best Rye can offer.
Exceptional fries, onion rings, burgers and wraps.
Lovely friendly staff front and back of house. Made us feel truly welcomed.
Five stars
One of the fun things about travelling around, (often in your own 'backwoods'), is when you unexpectantly stumble across a small eaterie or coffee house that you did not know existed... as was just the case for me recently with Forest Edge Roasting in Lyndhurst.
I spend quite a bit of time in The New Forest and especially in Lyndhurst, (the de facto capital of the Forest in fact), for one reason or another and am quite well acquainted with the High Street coffee chains & independent outlets in the main part of the high street..but I don't normally have reason to head further up the village past the terrific Lyndhurst Antiques sited on the corner.
However last week whilst visiting a couple of friends who trade in the Antique Centre somebody mentioned Forest Edge Roasting, just around the corner..so offering to buy them hot drinks, I popped around the corner..just 3 or 4 doors up... and there indeed it was.
Not sure if I had opened the right door, (it looking for all the world like an entrance to one of the flats above), a good-looking, well laid out & spotlessly clean, coffee bar met my eyes, with several comfy-looking nooks in which to sit... and in the far corner, a small wee business-like area where, I was told, the owner actually roasts the coffee beans..so you can't get much fresher than that!.
The delightful young lady behind the counter was very welcoming and appeared to know well the specific coffee order that I was putting in for my two friends..and for me, well I opted for a hot chocolate.
Probably a sacrilegious thing for me to order in a 'proper' coffee house', but she was very happy with my order and so, thankfully, I got my 'rare treat'!
On a cold morning, I am so glad I stuck to my guns and ordered my favoured hot-choccie as it was just superb..and was even more pleased that I ordered their large option..for though in my experience of ordering take-out drinks, hot chocolate is an easy drink to get wrong: too thick or too thin, too sweet or not sweet enough..luke- warm or mouth-burningly hot....however Forest Edge Roasting's offering was spot-on and just mouth-watering....
....and my two pals also gave the thumbs up to their coffees as well!
So if you ever find yourself down in Lyndhurst, (you may have popped in to view the famous Ferrari garage down at the bottom of the village or you are perhaps heading up to see Alice Liddell's grave...the inspiration for Lewis Carroll's 'Alice Through The Looking Glass'... in the Churchyard of St Michael & All Angels Church at the top end of Lyndhurst), make sure you find time to you pop into Forest Edge Roasting, ( at the top of the village on the right-hand side), for cuppa..either in or as a take-out..!
Here you'll get a wonderful welcome, a cracking hot drink...and you'll also be helping another hard-working, small local business compete with the major high street chains in these times of tough trading! 👍

Beth did an incredible job with the french fancy cake she made as a suprise for my wedding. The cake was delicious and exactly what i wanted, she was extremely helpful and very quick to respond to my queries. I cant recommend her enough
Went here this morning with my wife , son and his other half.
4 choice of breakfast sizes!
Ridiculously good prices too.
Decent Brekkie and perfectly cooked.
Set me up for the day!
Nice sausages and quality bacon.
Plum tomatoes which I love! Eggs cooked just how I like them with a nice runny yolk.
When we got there to the table I reserved it was empty but withing 10/20 mins s I found out why it was suggested I booked a table and it was almost full !
I cant think of anywhere else that you would get a mug of tea or coffee for £1.50?
Will definitely be back
They also do a Sunday roast for £8.95!.........it's a shame I've just had such a large breakfast!
What a busy oasis in the village. We were just ahead of the lunchtime rush and very soon all tables were full. We both chose salads, mine was the daily special, bacon and avo. Hearty and delicious. We were tempted with sharing a cake or cookie afterwards but the portions are so generous, we resisted!
We’ve been here a few times for sandwiches, today we thought we would try the Brie, bacon and cranberry paninis. I can honestly say it’s the worst panini I’ve ever had. The bacon was really very fatty and cold. Both of us only ate one mouthful and then had to remove all the bacon. The lady behind the counter was very busy so I didn’t feel able to complain.
