Crumb's catered for a small family party. They delivered beautifully presented delicious platters to my home. Plenty of variety, both savoury and sweet. I would happily recommend them to anyone.

Dear all at Monkton Barn, Where do we start… WOW, AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL are just some of the words that spring to mind. We are just floating on cloud 9, our day was everything we could have ever dreamed of and you made it happen. Our budget was limited but you treated us like royalty, every member of your team has gone above and beyond for us, the communication and organisation was just incredible. The food… incredible, every single one of our guests complimented on the food, it was perfect. The venue looked absolutely spectacular and we honestly cannot thank you all enough for making our dreams come true. Monkton barn will always have a special place in our hearts, what a fantastic venue highly recommended ♥️ Thank you all once again, a special thank you to Josh thank you, Owen thank you, Lauren thank you. ♥️ Lots of love the new Mr and Mrs Turner

We recently held a birthday party for my wife at the Three Horseshoes and Jamie and Dave from Two Hangry Chefs managed the booking of the venue, plus catering, hiring DJ etc. We were really happy with the service that was provided and the party was a great success. Jamie and Dave were on hand the whole night to help with making sure everything went smoothly and the buffet food provided was superb. We thank them both for helping us to make this a really special party!

What a lovely, friendly pub. Comfy chairs, table had fresh flowers. Attentive service from the landlord and really nice staff, the Sunday roast beef and yorkshire came with lots of perfectly-cooked veg* and nice gravy. Incredible standard for a very reasonable price. Had to sit a while before deciding if we could manage a dessert... Locals were following a big match footie at the bar-end, the noise from it wasn't obtrusive in the dining area, it was nice to see them. There is a funny big brown well-behaved dog, which stands and looks hopeful, then wanders off. The pub has a small car park which we didn't spot, we parked by the playing field. We noted they have a conservatory and high-chairs for sitter-uppers. * Best mashed potato ever.

Everyone in this pub is lovely, it’s a wonderful little community asset where you can pop in have a chat, read a book, enjoy quiz, comedy, music or even art evenings as well as something tasty to eat. Big shout out for Lanc. sauce flavoured crisps too - it’s the attention to detail that counts!

Since new management took over the overall ambiance has changed and not for the better. The service seems slower and the staff a lot less cheery. The food also not as it used to be . Doesn't feel like the Kings head that I know so won't be going back

A typical local pub in the back streets and serving a range of typical pub foods. The appearance inside and outside is not prepossessing, but the attraction of the pub is well cooked and good value food. We had the sea bass. Two well cooked, thick fillets and masses of sautéed vegetables, accompanied by a large dish of thick cut, well cooked chips Worth a visit for the food
