First time and well impressed. Food was best Fish chips I’ve had. Will return for sure.

It says you can eat there and you can't.

Always very fresh and tastes amazing. One of best cod and chips we have ever had. The curry sauce so yummy. Absolutely don't understand those who have marked this as a 1 star. It's not fair at all.

Awful. So rude that i ended up leaving without buying. Do not recommend at all. Take a short drive to Beaconsfield fish n chip shop where food AND service fabulous.

Came here quite late evening about 8.30pm. Ordered cod and chips and mushy peas. All the food was beautiful, the cod was cooked to perfection, gorgeous inside and crispy outside but not too greasy, chips were so tasty and not soggy, mushy peas actually mushy and stodgy consistency compared with other places where they are watery. Friendly team and really good size portions too. Would recommend to others.

Excellent fish and chips - nice thin crispy batter. Guy serving was really friendly and Saturday lunchtime £7.50 . Great value. Will definitely return for more

Nice enough food, marred by rude and staff who find it funny when you ask them the total price, only they didn’t give me the total price of all items that 2 of us ordered, they gave me the price of items I ordered plus an extra item my friend ordered. It’s one thing to not understand what a customer asks and another ring to then chat about them in plain sight and giggle like children. 👀 Avoid.

I had heard good things about the harbour, so thought I would give them a try when I fancied cod and chips.... My initial thoughts were that it's a bit pricey! £9 for a small cod and small chips is a fair bit more than the average I would say? However.. as with everything in life, you get what you pay for. Best fish and chips I've had in a long long time. Cooked fresh to order. Tasted amazing ☺️ fresh and not greasy at all. Really really good!!!!

Best fish and chips by far! First visit here after various recommendations and it did not disappoint. We usually go to other takeaway shops but had been a bit disappointed recently with the quality of the food. We had Haddock, Cod and a small chips. The cod had the skin taken off, which I prefer and the batter crispy. There were more than enough chips for two of us. Everything freshly cooked so hot and tasty. Friendly service so would highly recommend - I’m definitely going back!

I'm a hard critic of fish and chips, so this is an excellent review. The batter on the haddock was excellent. The taste superb. The chips were good but I couldn't say great. Just cook them a bit more I'd say. I'm very happy none of it was greasy. I finished extremely satisfied with my dinner. Thank you Harbour.

I always meet people in the queue from Marlow, Maidenhead and surrounding areas who travel there just to try them. The Spanish owner is really friendly. He cooks the fish to perfection, always crispy and chips always fresh never soggy. They do delicious fried chicken too and salt and pepper chilli squid. Highly recommended!

Great fish and chips, fish is lovely battered and crispy, chips are cooked properly and not greasy. We drive from Wooburn Green to this takeaway as the chippy close to us is terrible. Don't mind making the trip when it's lovely and tasty.

Always nice and freshly cooked, due to the constant stream of customers. Good, cheerful service and prices similar to others locally. Big plus for me is the fish is skinless, and the batter is very light and crispy! Fab.

Chips where dry and bland no taste waste of Money

We tried The Habour not expecting too much to be quite honest, but it is quite easily the best fish and chips we’ve had. Wasn’t greasy at all, well packaged and generous portions (even a small chips is more than enough for two portions). It is now our go to takeaway (we’re going back tonight). Highly recommend the scampi and mushy chips, the only thing that wasn’t great was the battered sausage.

Cod and chips delicious, skin of fish removed (which I prefer), lovely crispy batter but not too dry and big fat chips. Usually go to award winning fish and chip shops in Teignmouth and Torquay. In my opinion this fish and chip shop would be good competition. Try it if you haven't already!

Disappointed to find that although the food might’ve been enjoyable I won’t be finding out due to a rude (and what could be viewed as a racial) encounter as a previous exiting customer was not wearing a mask. The tone of voice used towards us was unnecessarily aggressive and inflammatory. Even after these recent troubling times customers are not being valued or respected.

Finally got around to the first visit since it became The Harbour. Impulse visit on a Friday evening during a global pandemic. Customers working well together to socially distance, and adhering to the “only 2 customers in the shop at any time” sign. Strange that the shop operates on a cash only basis, when most other businesses are pushing contactless card payment right now. Ordered some sausages in various incarnations, and chips. Having got home discovered one of the battered sausages that should have been large was in fact small, although had paid for large. Disappointing. Food was OK taste wise but chips could have been warmer and the portion size (large) was not as generous as normally found in a fish & chip shop. So, food OK despite chip portion size and temperature (quite important factors for a chippy). But they need to give you what you order and pay for, and need to reconsider their hygiene procedures

Recently moved to the area and came across this gem of a fish n chip shop. Reasonably priced, good size portions and extremely friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit.

Definitely give the new Harbour Chip Shop a go!!! Hadn’t been here for years, as didn’t like the old place. We noticed the refurb and change of ownership so thought we’d give it a try...... and so glad we did! We’ve been a few times now and will continue to support our local chippy. Beautiful fish and chips. Perfect non greasy chips and lovely crispy batter, plus an extensive menu if you fancy a change. The new owners are really friendly and welcoming. A must try, you won’t be disappointed!!!

Flackwell s local chippy has had a facelift! Great food & friendly staff. I will recommend to my friends and family and I will certainly be back for more!

Few weeks ago noticed the name had changed so we have it a try. Well worth it our first choice chip shop now. Have been 3 time now very good each time. Friendly staff.

Good, reliable fish & chips. Sometimes the haddock is a bit dry because they are such big pieces, and it would be nice to have the option of bigger pots of sauces/peas, but otherwise am happy with this as my local chippy and would recommend.

Messed up my order gave me and then burger had been cooked in deep fat fryer and not on the grill, making it greesey. Chips nice but lots of hard chip ends. Wont be ordering a burger from them again at that price for that low level of quality!

Really good food. Fresh, flakey haddock, everything freshly cooked and generous helpings. What's not to like?

Mmm I have had better. Fish was a good size but it was very greasy. Chips were either over or under cooked and greasy, generally not impressed with food or service. This is an over priced chippy that serves sub standard food at an extortionate price. Avoid if possible.

My family and I have been regular customers of Frackle Fryers for a number of years. We don't live too close by the shop but as we have always been very impressed with the portion sizes (1 kebab and large chips feeds 3 of us) and it has always tasted good we still travel there to purchase food. However, this evening when we got our doner kebab home we found that the meat had changed from their normal meat and now had added spice to it. It did not taste like normal doner kebab. It was also very disappointing that we were not warned of this change and so 3 members of my family did not enjoy their meal. I did get an apology from the manager when i rang the shop but as we don't live closeby i was not able to return there that evening to get an exchange.

Fish and chips they way it should be! The portions were great and the fish was freshly cooked for me, giant gherkins too. This will be my Friday port of call from now on.

There was hair in the food and it was RED, I told her there's hair in the food and after I showed her offered me a free drink, how about I want my 7 £ back . Stay far away from this place

This is, without a doubt, the finest chip shop in the Wycombe area! The quantity of food you are given for the price paid is great (a small chips can be shared by two people with a main meal) and the quality is rarely below excellent. The owner of the place has been there for as long as I can recall, and runs the place very well. Despite having two closer chip shops, we make the extra bit of journey to go to this one due to how good it is.
