What a lovely, friendly pub. Comfy chairs, table had fresh flowers. Attentive service from the landlord and really nice staff, the Sunday roast beef and yorkshire came with lots of perfectly-cooked veg* and nice gravy. Incredible standard for a very reasonable price. Had to sit a while before deciding if we could manage a dessert... Locals were following a big match footie at the bar-end, the noise from it wasn't obtrusive in the dining area, it was nice to see them. There is a funny big brown well-behaved dog, which stands and looks hopeful, then wanders off. The pub has a small car park which we didn't spot, we parked by the playing field. We noted they have a conservatory and high-chairs for sitter-uppers. * Best mashed potato ever.

I had a lovely evening here last night with a group of friends. We were able to eat at our leisure without feeling rushed. The food was lovely and the staff were all really nice and friendly. This was our 1st time there, but all commented on how nice it was, and all agreed we would be going back again.

My Favourite Pub in the area! Great prices great food great drinks and dog friendly! The pub is family run which gives that homey feel! I recommend this pub to all my family and friends!

I am very happy to call this my local pub, it’s a very nice pub run by a great family. The staff are super friendly and can’t do enough for you! They are dog friendly, and even do a doggy roast for your dog on a Sunday (which our dog absolutely loves) The food is great and they always have good offers on. I would very highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic food. Amazing value and so flavoursome. We also went for dessert, which was also delicious. Really lovely family feel to the pub. Felt so welcomed and relaxed. A real find and a little jealous of the locals for having this gem on their doorstep!

Excellent Sunday Roast, very nice warm atmosphere.

Tried the Cherry Tree for the first time and wasn’t disappointed friendly and attentive staff that make you feel very welcome. The food was very well cooked I had the steak and it was done to perfection one of the best I have had in a long time. A great little pub will definitely be going back!

First visit, super friendly staff, super yummy food! Great atmosphere

Busy pub, great for sports and the outside area is great, with TV's and plenty of seating. The food was very tasty too, but there was an issue with the amount of it. Chicken Platter description stated, a breast of chicken (This one was more Kate Moss than Dolly Parton) chicken goujons, spicy wings, and onions rings, Call me picky, but for £15, I would have expected more than two of each. Technically, providing two does allow for it to be pluralised, but really? Eight chips doesnt make a portion, and slicing one quarter of a corn cob into three pieces doesn't make it go that much further. To be fair, it was delicious. I just wish there had been more of it.

A very nice pub. It retains a feeling of an old village pub, but does not feel dated. There are some nice outside seating options, one area is covered, the other not. We visited when a popular football match was being shown on the pub TVs. It was busy, but everyone was polite and friendly. Only quibble was that the Rebellion IPA was cloudy (and then they stop serving it).

Stopped here for a lunch break on a longer journey. Had Sunday lunch which was great value and very enjoyable. Landlord was super friendly and made us feel at home. Pub had lots of atmosphere with lots of friendly locals. Loved that the pub was so dog friendly, only sad we didn't have our little man with us to get a portion of the tasty dog lunches the landlord was providing! Would return and recommend!

Popped in for a quick drink and ended up having a Sunday roast . We had a chicken and a beef roast which were lovely . And all for £12.99 each . Absolute bargain.. .best pub roast dinner we've eaten for a long time .. Great atmosphere and very attentive staff especially the landlord.. lovely outside area and multiple TVs showing all sports.. highly recommend and will definitely be going back soon.

Really enjoyable night out, with poker available to play on Mondays Lovely food, with 2 meals for £18.00, live football on the TVs, and really friendly and helpful staff on hand.

We were visiting friends in the locality and staying at a nearby chain hotel. We were made very welcome by the staff and locals alike. The landlord and landlady made a special effort to chat to us, which was lovely. We even went away with a couple of gifts! Thank you again! We will definitely re-visit when next in the area.

We visit this place frequently and really love the friendly atmosphere and classic pub vibe. Tv screens for sports games and a gorgeous outdoor space. Today, 12 of us turned up looking for a bite to eat without a booking to celebrate a 3rd birthday. This was no problem at all for the owner and he accommodated us perfectly, moving tables and making a fuss of our little man. The staff are always polite and attentive. The food was delicious and very well priced, and theres a great variety to suit all. Highly recommend 👌.

Old Pub jn middle of village, car park, easy flat access. Very dark on entry but fine when your eyes get accustomed. Bar toilets

Really good Sunday roast at a reasonable price.

Friendly staff (and pub dog), clean, reasonably priced and good range of drinks. Also has some covered seating outside with TV. Popped in whilst visiting family in the area, had a good coffee and pint of Heineken 0.0 from the Blade machine.

Cherry tree is a good pub but stops doing food orders at 8pm. This is there only let down. Bar staff are friendly and helpful.

Felt very safe with regard to Covid 19. Cleanliness and hygiene are to the highest standards. The staff are friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

Just popped in for a quick pint at 10:15 on a Friday night. The place was packed as they had live music. The band was very good and the pub owners are very friendly and welcoming.

Good pub in the classic mould - fruit machines and sky sports with a standard selection of drinks. Not my cup of tea, but the fella comes to watch the football and says the Guinness is good!

Nothing special about this pub really. Standard selection of drinks, normal pub furniture and decor, friendly service but not great at pouring beer from pull-taps.
