Was there for a wake. Pub seemed nice. Service was good. Didn't have food so can't comment on that but pub seems popular

Stopped here for lunch as it is just a couple of minutes from the motorway and certainly a million times nicer than the services, 200x cheaper and helping out a local business. Food was delicious and the landlord was very friendly. As it was quiet our dog and the pub dog got to make friends. If you need a stop over consider here rather than a McDonald's.

We booked for lunch for six on a Sunday afternoon. When we booked we were warned that we're not doing the roast dinners and so only had a limited bar snacks style menu. This was fine, the menu was limited but we had been warned. Service was friendly and prompt. Ham egg and chips, scampi and chips, horseshoe burger, beef chili nachos and a jacket potato were all good. The vegetarian options were very limited.

We booked for Mothers Day lunch. As usual an absolutely cracking meal. I usually find pub Sunday roast very disappointing and had a shocker recently at the Old Bell, but this was really great. Lovely meat, good selection of veg, home made cauliflower cheese and proper gravy. 5 stars all round

Lovely friendly place and good food

Further to my review of 2018, I feel I must redress the balance, and state that since the arrival of new owners Toni and Keith, things really have improved considerably. Gone is the massive TV and shouty men (well the shouty men haven't totally disappeared but it is a pub!!) and arrived is the community focused and good old fashioned no nonsense pub with good food. The owners are keen on developing a community spirit and have introduced quiz night, as well as marking the pub very much as a community hub. Added to which Rebellion beers on tap. it's all good!

Booked last minute for Sunday lunch. Friendly staff, great value. A proper pub. Will definitely go back..

We were staying in Beaconsfield but no pubs show the football or have BT sport, so we got a (short) taxi ride to The Three Horseshoes What a great find We were given a warm welcome by the bar lady and the regulars There is an excellent selection of drinks and the pub serves food. The regulars were friendly and made our visit there fun & friendly So if you are in Beaconsfield but want to watch televised sport definitely head here

Good pub aesthetic, unfortunately it was overcrowded when I went and was shockingly expensive. I get that it’s london but a single gin and tonic and pint of diet coke gave scarily little change from my £20 note.

Firstly, for the sake of transparency, I should state that I frequent this pub regularly and know the staff and landlady well. That said, I am also a tight git who will not waste money on paying for poor quality food or service. Since the Two Hangry Chefs have started preparing the meals, I have eaten there many times and am confident in taking my family and friends in to eat there too such is the quality of the food. There is a good choice of dishes on the menu - possibly too much for the indecisive amongst you - and normally a couple of specials most days. For example, I had the home made Shepherds Pie yesterday and it was delicious, as was the pork belly I had as a starter. My family also enjoyed their food too and the deserts were a particular success. The chefs are always keen to ensure that you are completely happy with your food, and whilst I have never had to, I am confident that if you were genuinely dissatisfied with any aspect of the meal, they would do their utmost to rectify things. Sunday roasts continue to be excellent as before and as ever, the portions are big. In short, I have yet to have a bad meal at the Three Horseshoes since Dave and Jamie took charge of the kitchen, and will definitely eat there again. Keep up the good work gents!

The kitchen has recently been taken over, the food here is fab. We have eaten here a few times since the food has changed and everytime it has been great. Really good quality ingredients and a proper chef. Definitely recommend for food!

Popped in yesterday for food whilst in the area. Never been here before. At first glance it felt like a local drinkers pub. I'm glad we stayed. The food was well priced and extremely good quality. Nice home cooked food and a decent vegan/vegetarian menu. Hopefully people support this as the food is very good. We will definitely be back.

Popped in here for Sunday roast. The reviews were good but realised the last was about 18 months ago. I’m wondering if the chef has changed. I should’ve really sent the meal back but we were the only customers eating and I felt bad as the people and the wine were just lovely. We will not be returning here for food however.

We booked the pub's side area and lunchtime buffet carvery for my husband's Mum and Dad's diamond wedding anniversary family celebration, which was yesterday. They'd had their wedding reception there originally 60 years ago. There were about 30 of us and everyone commented on how lovely the food was, it was delicious, cooked fresh and hot, lots of choice, plenty to go around and then some. Dessert was gorgeous too. Service was fantastic, staff really helpful and friendly. I have a gluten intolerance and we had a vegetarian in our group too, we were both catered for really well and nothing was too much trouble. We'll definitely be back for future huge family get togethers and couldn't recommend it highly enough. Thank you so much for making it all so lovely, easy and a really memorable day.

Great place to relax with friends

Sadly shocked to be out with a friend early evening only to discover they don't serve food then. No apology given nor explanation of when food is served. Had a nice meal in The Cherry Tree instead.

Been coming to this pub for a while and have yet to write a review, finally came in for sunday lunch and it was delicious! All homemade food, great value for money, lovely polite service, everything you’d want! ☺️

Could not have been more pleased with the roast we had today! The meat was cooked perfectly and the gravy was so nice and rich...the Yorkshire was as big and plump as my face..all fresh and homemade desert was amazing, I could have eaten the whole cheesecake...thank you to the chef and the bar/table staff for their friendly quick service! Deffo be back for more!!

Unfortunately the place is filled with testosterone filled chaps shouting at the TV, not my idea of fun. For goodness sake why does every pub in Flackwell have to be like this? Had a meat platter to share which was sort of ok, however the wings didn’t seem cooked through. No ale on tap.... wot no ale??? Seems to me breweries are killing pubs due to their shocking standard of very average beers. Not sure I would return on any level really. I’m off for some Rebellion or craft beers

A classic Sunday roast is hard to find but we visited the three horseshoes as we saw the sign outside advertising Sunday roasts. The pub has recently been taken over by a new lady who was very keen to welcome us in and get us seated and comfortable. They offer Sunday roast with a choice of starters and desserts. The food was served hot and fresh with a good helping of trimmings. It was all very good value for money as well which was a bonus!

Went to call in there for a business lunch, as have used it before, and the food was excellent, but the place was closed, so we decided to go to The Stag, what has happened in Flackwell Heath with the pubs, is The Three Horseshoes closed down ?

Foods cooked perfectly.Sunday buffet is the winner.

Delicious Chinese food in a nice a very friendly atmosphere! You can eat as much as you want on Sunday between 12 and 3pm. Would recommend booking a table as it can get quite busy. Very good service with a smile!

Seems to have a very limited lunchtime menu - we only wanted a lite bite style meal but only full meals available. Seems very popular with well to do OAP's. (I am an OAP myself!).

Local in the village, went for Sunday lunch after returning from holiday with friends who were not from the village, We had told them how good the lunch was and are happy to say that they were not disappointed, We had a lovely Sunday lunch with friendly staff and a top landlord and landlady for who nothing was too much trouble. They have even asked to come back and go there again.I am one fussy person when it comes to food, but Mandy is always willing to do anything she can to make sure that my meals are just perfect for me and she succeeds every time.Thanks Mandy

Called in here middle of lunchtime on a Sunday, they found us a table although we hadn't booked and served us with one of the best roast dinners we have had in a long while. Well worth visiting, will be using again and suggest you do if in the area.

Took friends here for dinner recently as we have eaten here many times and the food has been great.. Our food was good again but we had to wait 30 minutes for our meals. This was fine as the friendly waitress informed us straight away. When the food came out my friends order was wrong, therefore he sent it back. We continued with our meals by the time we finished they brought my friends food out wrong again! It really wasn't a difficult order to get wrong. The waitress was very sweet and profusely apologised. The next minute a lady, who I presume was the landlady stormed out of the kitchen, threw the door open and marched over to our table "who sent there food back again" she firmly said, we explained the order yet again, she then said " you sure that's what you said when you ordered!?" Then marched back into the kitchen.! The correct food order came out 1hr 10mins after ordering. The landlady was so rude and every time she walked past us gave us filthy look and made us feel very uncomfortable. Made us feel like we had done something wrong, sadly won't be returning. Shame as the food is generally good and the landlord is very friendly.

We went here after visiting Hughenden Manor. Its a busy pub on a Sunday. Set menu of Sunday roast. Two off us had tiger prawns with garlic butter, which were every nice. I had vegetable crumble which was very nice as an alternative to roast. Two people had pork belly with veg. One had roast chicken. We we're offered large or small portions for meal.

Great food and service. Nothing too much trouble. Children and families welcome and able to book early. Portions very large so may only need starter and dessert rather than 3 courses. Able to sit in enclosed garden during summer monthsOwned by local brewery and beer on tap and always an excellent pint, ( so my husband says!).

Have eaten Sunday lunch here several times and always good and tasty and staff very friendly.Would certainly recommend.

We have dined here several times, with fine and tasty fayre and generous portion sizes every visit. The staff are very helpful and the cook manages to make traditional dishes a little bit special buy introducing a 'secret' ingredient to tiAll our guests enjoy their meals here, and then tell their friends. Unfortunately the side effect is to make the place more popular and getting a table is sometimes difficult!.

I have visited this pub twice and service though polite was very disorganized. First time round, veggie pie was kind of ok, but creme brûlée was just runny cream with sugar sprinkled on top, so anything but a creme brûlée. Second time round veggie pie - no other veggie option - was watery, and dessert was literally halved strawberries with blob of cream thrown on top. I can do better at home for a fraction of the price. Very disappointing indeed.

We've had two lunches here - one on Sunday and one on a Saturday. The Sunday one was a bit odd - I had a good roast chicken main, with lots of meat. However partner's beef dish was a shredded beef, not a good old-fashioned roast beef lunch. Therefore he didn't really enjoy it - although the veg/potatoes were good. We returned on a Saturday to try the main menu - my burger was excellent, very succulent. Partner's fish & chips seemed to be mostly batter. And it appeared the fish, chips and peas were all frozen in origin. But we could be wrong. You get a really warm welcome from the owners, and the service is good. But ..... just wanted it to be so much more on the food front!

This is our 2nd visit to this lovely pub after only finding it by chance and both times the family have loved it. The pub is very welcoming and you feel at home. The food is delicious, really enjoyed the starter of potato skins which we think are to die for. All the food arrives at the table lovely and hot and not like it's been hanging around forever. The waiter service is excellent and are very polite and helpful. Even when you leave you are greeted with a good night and thank you and there aren't many places where you would get that. If there was one thing I would change and it's not a criticism and that would be moving the TV so that you don't have to fight to get to the toilet,especially when the footie is on. I would definitely recommend the Three Horseshoes.

When your time is precious and you want to enjoy a meal and drink in comfort in a family run restaurant, I can honestly say that it doesn't get any better than The Three Horseshoes in Flackwell. Heath.Mandy and Adam welcome you with a beautifully infectious smile and make you feel comfortable immediately.My partner and I then had a fantastic three course meal with a lovely bottle of wine for an extremely reasonable price.I would go out of my way to encourage anybody, individual, couple or family to make a point of visiting this lovely restaurant whenever possible!Rod Faul

I've been to this pub many times because of it's great atmosphere and efficient and friendly bar staff. They are always happy to support worthy causes, have regular Live Music and know how to put on a good party! Food is tasty, freshly cooked to order and very reasonably priced...especially the Sunday Roast! If you're looking for a relaxed yet fun, family-friendly place to go, then look no further. Long may The Three Horseshoes Flackwell Heath continue to trade with Adam & Mandy at the helm!! See you again soon...
