The best restaurants in Theale West Berkshire South East

My partner and I wound up stopping by for lunch on a whim because we were in the area. We wound up ordering the tinga chicken and also the beef brisket burritos on the lunch special. The food is *very* fresh, and has great flavours with a very satisfying portion size. We also chatted with the owner a bit, it's very clear that he cares about what he's serving here, and is quite friendly. I would recommend if you're into Mexican / Tex-Mex, or even just curious to try it- and depending on other circumstances I may become a regular here.

Fantastic wedding venue! Staff are very welcoming and the food absolutely amazing. The venue itself is really stunning with a nice outdoor area along the canal.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere and great homemade pub food

We just moved into the area and was advised by the previous owners about King Wok and so glad we ordered as food was so fresh and delicious! Definitely will be one of our favourites.

We enjoyed our dinner at Spice Lounge. The food is delicious, highly recommended!

I visited the Crown with family and friends although I didn't eat I was told that the food was nice, the staff were really friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was really good so personally I would definitely recommend.

Ended up eating here after a long break. Quality was poor, main lacked flavour and nan was baked to a biscuit and swimming in oil, yuk.

food can freezing cold kids meal for £7:50 for a few chips and 4 nuggets?? won't be using again I would recommend to avoid this place

Un grupo de 14 de nosotros aparecimos el domingo 3 de noviembre que estábamos a medio esperar que nos rechazaran porque no teníamos una reserva, pero en su lugar nos recibieron con 2 jóvenes sonrientes y acogedoras muy agradables detrás de la barra que estaban más que felices de servirnos. Los 14 de nosotros pedimos comida y cada uno de nosotros dijo lo buena que era la comida era absolutamente delicioso y buena porción de tamaño también. En general fue una experiencia muy agradable y me gustaría dar las gracias no solo al personal del bar, sino también al personal de la cocina por hacer un trabajo increíble, chicos de gran esfuerzo mantener el buen trabajo que sin duda volveré con mi familia.

Stopped by this pub whilst working in the area, decent selection of drinks and reasonably priced, decent atmosphere and showed sport which was a bonus, would return.

Empty at 11am, went in with the intention of eating, we looked at the breakfast menu, a rather abrupt assistant said "that's the breakfast menu, we only serve that until 10" decided to just have a hot drink, felt like good value got money until the drinks turned up, we both had hot chocolate, so poor we didn't drink them, the lotus biscuits were nice.

Great local. small cosy bars .huge garden and car park hidden at rear through an arch way at the side of the pub.entertainment laid on.skytv .Worth checking out the Web site or on Facebook.
