The burger was worth travelling the 1hr and 40 mins drive. It was a nice size and very filling cooked really well and prepared and the loaded fries was to die for. We will be going back again and again

Food was good Odd was the fact our food was plated When we were trying to share the 3 mains ..so this made it impossible ..no bowls or dishes! We then asked to take some food home : and was given 2 containers for ourselves to scrape food into (rather than the kitchen) Restaurant was plain ..no real dining experience which is a shame considering the menu and food were both v good I'll just stick to takeaway in future

A nice cafe, friendly service, centrally located in Uckfield High Street. I purchased a bacon and cheese omelette with chips and salad. The omelette was nicely cooked but the chips were a little overcooked. The cafe seats around 40 people indoors and approx. 20 people outdoors. Fabulous find. Live near Uckfield for years and have never visited. I was driven by the reviews that are consistent and took a chance. The greeting was lovely and friendly. The seating area clean and fresh. The food was for my daughter mainly, the choice was Korma. It was fresh, the chicken plentiful and the bread was soft and very tasty. Will definitely get another take away and try the chef specials. Highly recommend.

We had finished our coffees before our food arrived, and my sausage sandwich was made with sliced bread and mas produced sausages which had no texture, no garnish just two slices of bread and cheap sausages for £7. This arrived after my wife had started hers as they brought the wrong order first. Its also a very noisy place if you have hearing aids

The food was lovely. The atmosphere was very welcoming. The staff was kind and friendly. La Stella is a highly recommended visit. Thank you for such a lovely time.

Ive just had beef pad thai takeaway: there were only 5 little strips of beef.a third of a spring onion, no peanuts ( clearly forgot to put them in) and the noodles were really just mixed with tomato ketchup - all for £12; disappointed and will never get that again . Also had tom kha soup which was nice. For 2 soups and 2 pad Thai was pennies off £40.00 Im afraid you've lost a customer in me.

Coming from Bristol I wasn't sure what to expect, but the food was superb and the cost was much less than I'm used to. Highly recommend.

Absolutely rude staff! How dare the lady today tell my sonhe can't eat his own crisps he'd been eating there own chunky chips while waiting for me to visit the centre x I said to the lady he is autistic and has eating problems! He wasn't hurting any one and had sat away from other people eating there . The lady said that was why was talking to me and not my son! A little thought to thinking he must come and see Councillor each week! We have had run ins with the staff before! Not impressed 😕

1st time visitor. Great seats. Helpful staff.
