The burger was worth travelling the 1hr and 40 mins drive. It was a nice size and very filling cooked really well and prepared and the loaded fries was to die for. We will be going back again and again

What a great cafe. Good prices and friendly staff. More down to earth than some of the other cafes in the area. It's tuckerd away in the corner next to the barbers.

Enjoyed lunch on Sunday, instead of a pub we fancied something different. A little quiet as it’s January but the food was lovely and the guy that looked after us very nice. Recommend and definitely will be back.

Fabulous find. Live near Uckfield for years and have never visited. I was driven by the reviews that are consistent and took a chance. The greeting was lovely and friendly. The seating area clean and fresh. The food was for my daughter mainly, the choice was Korma. It was fresh, the chicken plentiful and the bread was soft and very tasty. Will definitely get another take away and try the chef specials. Highly recommend.

Looks lovely place. Had the sharing platter. Meat on masses of nasty tasting rice. Strongly advise you to not use the rice you use. It tastes like pudding rice. Use bulgar wheat. And the chicken was so dry. Hopefully you take advice from this as just trying to help. Sadly the rice and chicken let it down for us. Try bulgar wheat you won’t regret it

Ive just had beef pad thai takeaway: there were only 5 little strips of beef.a third of a spring onion, no peanuts ( clearly forgot to put them in) and the noodles were really just mixed with tomato ketchup - all for £12; disappointed and will never get that again . Also had tom kha soup which was nice. For 2 soups and 2 pad Thai was pennies off £40.00 Im afraid you've lost a customer in me.

Coming from Bristol I wasn't sure what to expect, but the food was superb and the cost was much less than I'm used to. Highly recommend.

Ludford Restaurant was a restaurant that looks reasonably nice, has good food, my personal experience with staff was not so desirable as I was more treated like a child compared to an adult considering my younger age, I am still an adult, however I have overlooked this due to the outstanding food, and no complaints for the pricing.
