Finally went after seeing alot of positive reviews on Facebook and Google, I have to say it did live up to the hype. The service was great, and both guys working the front were brilliant and very friendly. The food was awesome, you could really taste the fact it had been grilled with charcoal. We had the mixed grill so me got to taste all they had to offer and it really hit the spot. Will certainly be returning.

Came here for my birthday for the first time on a Sunday and I wanted to say what an amazing experience it was. Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Food was DIVINE!!! We had the sharer mix for two, plenty of food and cooked to perfection. Starters were great and yummy cocktails.It was a warm day so we sat outside, which was cute and comfortable! We will definitely be back! Thank you for a lovely dinner and for your hospitality :) what a gem 💎

Food was very average, but quite over priced. I have tried the majority of Turkish restaurants around East Sussex, and unfortunately it wasn't the top of my list. I had the Lamb Shish. It was quite dry and overcooked. Service was good. I wasn't too happy about my coke being 3/4 full. When I mentioned this to the waiter he said it was a wider glass 😂, it was £3.45 and he could of at least topped the glass up. Overall I wish them the best, but I've had better experiences and food at other Turkish restaurants locally.

Ordered for the first time this evening. I can honestly say it was the best kebab I’ve ever eaten. We will definitely be ordering again.

Third time going to Relish. Servers very polite and attentive. Atmosphere was lovely. Beautifully decorated with accessories orange and lemon trees and more. Lightning lovely. Food was excellent. 4 of us shared a cold meze. Then we had 2 mixed shish, a chicken shish and a vegetarian meal with mushrooms, aubergine and tomato with rice. Great service and lots of quality drinks. We had a fantastic evening and was there for 3 hours. Looking forward to going again. Highly recommend.

New to the area so first time at Relish and was not disappointed. Lovely staff, quick service and more than generous portions. I had the best ribeye steak ever! PS. Great musician keeping us entertained for the evening.

Kebab with Style - We had the Grill for 2 with extra fries & it was Ok for 3. Delicious flavours that remind me of holiday in Turkey; Lovely bread, Tender Meat, Great Meze Sauce, Amazing salad with Pomegranate, Flavourful Sticky Rice - Impressed!

Without doubt, the food cooked at Relish is spoilt at every turn. we had six dishes and every one of them was overcooked, the fish was completely dried out. The lamb kofta was like a piece of wood. The chicken was like rubber and the lamb was completely inedible. The service was slack and the attitude of the staff was that we were a nuisance. The table next to us was left uncleared for an hour. This was a very bad experience at very high expense. We will never return. To cap it off a secretive, 10% service charge was added to the bill, although this was not mentioned on their tatty, doggy menu.

The only place I can recommend in uckfield is smiling face.

I visited this restaurant quite late on a Tuesday night, and the staff were very accommodating in serving good quality food. I had the lamb chops served with warm Turkish bread.

Our first visit to this restaurant with friends, will definitely return, lovely ambience, also busy with very mixed aged tables. Our server he was lovely never got he’s name but he was extremely polite and knowledgeable about the food. My friend and I had a cocktail to start really nice not having premixed cocktails they were delicious, we wanted a bottle off rose wine but they only advertised an Italian wine, not very keen on Italian wines the server asked would we like to try the Turkish Rose he brought us over a taster it was very nice. We all had starters all presented very nice and we all said very tasty. Our mains varied from traditional Turkish kebabs to pizza and seabass. Presentation was very good with tasty side salads with pomegranate seeds. All very hot and well cooked. We had 3 different desserts delivered everyone said all tasted great. Followed by espresso coffees and Turkish coffee. Will be returning as pizzas looked really nice.

Enjoyed a really lovely meal here for Valentines Day! Food was amazing, service was fantastic and the atmosphere was wonderful. Will definitely be coming back! Thank you for a lovely evening.

Went with my friends for dinner. We were greeted by Steve our lovely waiter. Steve was very respectful and polite. Our food came quickly and was very delicious. We were staying at the Sussex National Spa in Uckfield and felt like dining out, only 7 minutes drive away. We really appreciated our chef Morat (not sure if i spelt his name correctly) coming out to greet us. Great customer service 👏.

Went at lunchtime, Thursday for my husband's birthday. The food was delicious and really tasty. Excellent service, drinks were lovely and chilled. I would highly recommend this restaurant for lunch or evening. We will be back.

So loud the waiter couldn't hear us. adequate food. Mains served before we'd finished our starters. And a surprise 10% service charge. Absolutely not worth £30pp for a shared starter and a main. No reason to ever return.

We visited for our anniversary meal, food was really good. One member of the waiting staff customer service skills needs some work. Could possibly be tempted to return, could do with a bit more of an extensive menu!

Freezing cold ,miserable staff ,apart from that the food was good ! Don't expect to be treated as if we weren't welcome in a local restaurant! PS 9 OAPs so we were very well behaved!!

Went with friends and had a booked table. Waitress was new. Owner was leachy. He told us it's the best place around. Waitress took order for starters and got it wrong. Took order for mains and got it wrong, so when they took it back we saw the rest of the food sat waiting on the pass. Was cold when it finally all came out. Dessert order taken and we made new Waitress write it down as obviouslythey like them to remember. . She was pretty useless and was poor experience for a first visit. Overpriced kebab with rice and salad and steak poor quality. Shame as had read good reviews. Won't be back.

The food is amazing and very fresh. The whole family enjoyed the meal and were stuffed afterwards!

We ordered online for collection. It was 60 quid which is a lot for a take away. When we got there to collect it we were told the order hadn't been taken as they were really busy. They had taken my money. We weren't really offered any apology and I was told I would have to wait for my refund. It was now late and our options to go elsewhere were very limited. Not cool relish you need to seriously up your game!!!!!!

Booked a table 2 weeks prior and was greeted on arrival by the very pleasant waitress who ticked us off her booking sheet. We were seated and given menus then (I'm assuming) the owner came over and asked if we'd booked. We said we had. He then told us we needed to book as they're busy. Again we said we'd booked. We're we ready to order? No we'd literally just been seated. Placed an order for drinks. No alcohol free beers so my friend ordered soda water. 5 mins later he came back to clarify our drinks order. We're we ready to order food? Argh panic order. Interior is really lovely and nice atmosphere but we felt rushed. Food was OK. Will probably give it another try as not many good places to eat in in town. . Just felt rushed and a bit uncomfortable.

Decent enough food but expensive. £7 for a starter of 4 tiny chicken wings; £20 for a lamb shish that was a few pieces of (admittedly tasty) lamb and a bit of salad and rice. Bottled beer £6+ a pop, turned into an expensive meal. Won't return but only because of the price of the meal.

This has to be best Turkish restaurant around East Sussex, it’s amazing the staff are so friendly and give amazing customer service would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for excellent Turkish food and great atmosphere 10/10

We visited the restaurant the first time tonight… they have been open a month. I would like to offer this restaurant come constructive advise having been in the hospitality trade a number of years. Please keep to what you know - I feel like you have a personality crisis… if you are a Turkish restaurant- be that. The menu is limited Turkish options, then Italian and steak with pepper sauce, pizzas etc - not very authentic. Offer a Turkish beer on tap… Staff are a mix of friendly restaurant & short conversation takeaway staff. Uckfield has a complete lack of good restaurants, if these guys stayed true to their roots and offered more authentic dishes, brushed up on the customer experience and stocked brands & more dishes that are true to Turkish cuisine you would do exceptionally well. Wish you all the luck in the future.

Shared the cold meze which was very very tasty - however it came with a very small portion of pitta bread considering it was for two people and the whole dish comprised various dips - requested more bread and was disappointed to be charged extra for this

Visited Relish to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We sat outside as it was so hot and the setting was very nice. Very tasty food and delivered to the table quickly. Chicken Shish and the the lamb chops both with salad and rice were really good. Will definitely return

Four of us had a great authentic Turkish meal on the afternoon of Uckfield Carnival, you were not rushed and the staff were most helpful. Great food and something welcoming and different for Uckfield, keep up your standards. Will definitely be eating there again, may even try the takeaway.

On the whole amazing food, and good service. Lamb chops and chicken shish were perfect, but Tiger prawns slightly too much tomato sauce, but just an observation. Would thoroughly recommend and say that people should try and support local quality restaurants. Be aware service charge included on bill.....didn't see and left cash for tip 🤬

Something to say about this restaurant: grotesque. The food is good, the guy is always hanging on the walls, like a spider. There are 3 doors that you can choose at a certain point. One door leads to a nightmarish world of sorrow. One door leads to the moment of birth of humanity. One door leads to Chinatown in Manchester. You do not know which door is which. The only lead is a small man chanting a song next to the three doors. The song is very cryptic but you can get some hints about the doors from the lyrics. Anyways, great restaurant. 5 stars.

We went at 6pm on Friday and left at 6:30pm having had starters and mains! If you’re looking for a quick meal, this is perfect for you! The place looks so much better than it did before. Fun decor if a little tacky - very clean and bright. Attention to detail on requests was lacking - no draught beer available so we chose corona in a bottle and asked for it to be in the bottle with lime - it came in a glass with no lime… not a biggy but first impressions matter. The food was quality and plentiful. Lacked seasoning and authenticity. The service staff are definitely in early days and need a bit more enthusiasm for their roles. They were stood around chatting for a good 5 minutes once we had finished our meals with no other tables to serve and didn’t clear our table until we asked for the bill. Our mains were delivered before our starter plates had been taken away and we had just finished. Not relaxing but potential is evident. A work in progress!

Great food, and great service. The place has recently been taken over by new owners, the previous Italian restaurant was poor. This is a great addition to the community, with lovely Turkish food and fresh ingredients. Will look forward to visiting again soon! (The overall Google rating would be higher, but they seem to have inherited the previous owners rating for some reason)

First impressions count, and the first impressions of Relish are outstanding. The food was devine, the service was second to none and the atmosphere is warm, friendly and professional. This is welcomed new addition to Uckfield and I highly recommend it. Thank you.

Lovely to have a Turkish restaurant in Uckfield. I would like to give some constructive criticism from my visit. Firstly the bottle of wine was served at the table with the cork having been removed and pushed back in the bottle top. Please open the bottle at the table so the customer can see that it contains the wine they ordered. My order of chicken shish comes with rice. I do not eat carbs so asked for extra salad. I was offered chips but declined. My meal came with chips! Also the salad was very limited. I asked for no onion and the salad contained grated carrot, pickled cabbage and a few bits of lettuce. Please try and be more inventive with the salad. We had to wait a while, after our plates were taken away, for a waitress to come over and we asked for the desert menu. My partner asked for tiramisu and black coffee. The coffee did not arrive and we had to ask where it was. In all the meal was tasty, the wine good and my Margarita lovely.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The service was great, always happy to help and really friendly. Portion sizes were wonderful. Highly recommend the mix grill platter for 2. Everything was perfect and authentic. The kofte was just incredible and tender. I do think they need to add a few mocktails to their menu, as I love a mocktail with my dinner but besides that, what a lovely addition to the town!

We had dinner here tonight. Highly recommended. We had the shared mixed grill which was by far the most popular dish we saw leaving the kitchen. Most authentic and delicious food we have eaten since living in the region some years ago. Full of flavour and tender meat. Staff accommodating but not constantly checking on us which is just how we like it. We will be back soon!

Very good value for money. I am vegetarian and there were plenty of options. We had complimentary dips and bread and a side salad. The service was excellent and they even helped us use apple pay as my husband had a new phone and wasn’t sure how to use it. The desserts were delicious. We will definitely be going back there

Tried this new restaurant a couple of nights ago and was highly delighted. Great choice of Turkish food on the menu, but also options for non-Turkish food lovers. The food arrived promptly, was hot and well presented. Big portions too - 3 courses is not for the faint hearted :) Friendly and approachable staff, clean and pleasant ambience. This restaurant is a real boost for Uckfield and I’m sure will soon become a favourite for many locals.
