The best restaurants in Haslemere East and Grayswood Waverley South East

What a jewel in Haslemere’s office culture crown. This lovely place is a find. Comfy chairs, a great array of home made cakes - we popped out for a cake and coffee and were were not disappointed. It’s got a friendly vibe and the menus look enticing for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Amazing! Every visit has been exceptional, my family and I loved my birthday meal. Thank you very much! Food was excellent and service was perfect.

Don't be put off by the drinks thing. This is a delightful and well-appointed cafe in what I imagine was (and still is) the local Post Office. We were greeted by a cheery lady who asked if we wanted the Post Office or breakfast! Imagine our surprise when she announced that full English is half-price for October weekdays. Well, that made choosing very easy and it was delicious and more than either of us could manage. Good coffee and friendly servers so an all-around 5* from us.

I've eaten here twice in the evening and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Really tasty dishes, served with care and attention to detail. The chef has the skill and confidence to present unfashionable ingredients (the pork belly was delicious) and turn them into something memorable. Servers are friendly, wines interesting (there's a gem of a dessert wine if that's your thing), and the overall value right in the money.

Cute little cafe just outside the station. Love the vibrant colours and atmosphere. Just my kind of thing. Very welcoming vibes. Staff were very friendly. Cold day and hot strong coffee, perfect combination. I just had takeaway because don’t wanna waste my time but surely next time enjoy to have in.

Tend to visit Haslemere every 6 months or so...and always visit Olivers as I'm never disappointed. Menu is just right for a snack or something a bit bigger. Highly recommend.

This is a specific Review for those with Coeliacs disease or Gluten intolerance. Please read other reviews. But generally, we liked this Pub and had a very nice meal and a good time. Proper old fashioned coaching inn with all the history associated. God bless Pubs like this continue. So the Pub have a GF menu. Separate to the main menu. Slightly less choice but pretty decent. I think there were 3-4 Starters and Mains. I think a Sunday Lunch option was missing and many Pubs tend to avoid labelling as GF on account of Flour used in the Yorkshire Pudding or similar. Recommend use of Corn Flower and I doubt anyone would notice the difference. See what you can do. Deserts - bit more limited outside of Ice Cream but a few options. I ordered a Cheesecake but it was sold out. I did not mind at all. The waitress was excellent throughout the meal. Pleasingly, the Pub has a few GF beer options in bottles on top of the usual Ciders that Coeliacs can drink. I ordered a few bottles of the Old Speckled Hen GF. Decent ale and was very pleased to have the option. So would certainly recommend this Pub for GF. Staff seemed to understand Allergies and food was good. If they can adapt a few more dishes like a Roast, would be good for business. Last point, there is a brilliant GF Brewery in Horsham called Firebird. Give there local ales a go. Simply stunning. Keep up the Good work.

We had a super meal, the food was exceptional, the service both knowledgeable and attentive andvhe overall meal was excellent.

Can't comment on what it's like to dine in but do not recommend for take away or collection. Our main gripe is with the lasagne which was presented poorly and didn't taste great. And considering this was £15 the portion size wasnt great either. Tasted similar to a ready meal you'd get from a supermarket and looked like it too. The pizza I had was okay and the starters we ordered were fine. Considering this cost us close to £50 there are other Italian restaurants which are so much better for a similar price. Disappointed

Went in last week for the first time as had a meeting. The 2 girls behind the counter were lovely and friendly. I really can't believe one of the reviewers said "you can't expect good service from young people". It was fairly quiet but the girls were keeping the place clean and doing their jobs well.

A very friendly and pleasant experience. The steak sandwich with rocket and sun dried tomatoes was very tasty and good value .

The perfect coffee, Lovely atmosphere and brilliant service from Neil. Soo attentive and always soo happy, Main reason I use the coffee shop is his service.

We had a meal here for a celebration and it was a 10/10 experience. The menu is great, with something for everyone. The dishes was super flavourful, especially the tacos. Good deals going on throughout the week. And the cocktails are amazing too, with a wide menu again. The staff were all very attentive and super nice. Overall a great night, we'll be back for more of the weekly deals.
