What a jewel in Haslemere’s office culture crown. This lovely place is a find. Comfy chairs, a great array of home made cakes - we popped out for a cake and coffee and were were not disappointed. It’s got a friendly vibe and the menus look enticing for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Sad to write this review but feel this is the only way things will improve. I've been a fairly frequent customer of Oliver's for a few years now. Always pleased with service and loved the food. Unfortunately, I feel standards are slipping. Husband and I took our seven and a half month old baby in for a late lunch. Woman waiting our table asked if we needed a high chair and we replied that we did. Lady then apologised and said that we would have to wait as it was stored in the ladies toilet(!!!!) and that the toilet was currently occupied. She then took our drink orders. Waited a while, still no high chair so I went to the ladies and collected the chair myself. I did not mind doing this but I was irritated when I asked for the chair to be wiped down before use. I was told chair had already been wiped down this morning ( it was now around 3.30pm - do they only clean it once a day? ). I had to insist and explain that it needed to be wiped again before use and especially if you store it in a toilet! ( I had to explain about spray from toilet when flushing etc) The male assistant gave the chair a spray and a quick wipe. As I placed my child in the seat and adjusted the straps I noticed. Dried on dirt on the straps, underneath the child's handrail ( it rotated as I placed my boy in the seat) and on the insides o f the chair ( see pics attached). I did not bother highlighting this with the staff (they probably heard me complaining to my husband)as it was obviously not a priority. I cleaned it myself with wet wipes and Milton spray. I am sad that in these post covid times, no consideration is given to the storage and cleanliness of high chairs. Would the staff at Oliver's expect their adult patrons to dine at a dirty table and chair which had been stored in a toilet and only wiped down once a day? Please buy a new plastic high chair, clean it regularly and stop storing it in the toilet.

Came here with a limited time and I explained to the waitress that I had to leave before 10am. Quick but everything perfectly cooked! Crispy bacon, brown toast, two beautifully cooked eggs and oat milk cappuccino to start a busy day at work. Will be back and will bring friends too. 🫶🫶🫶

We called in here on our way home from a w/e away. It's tucked down an alley but the A board highlighted it. Inside was very busy and the staff quicly helped us find seats at a low table (too cold to sit outside). The menu is great, perfect for a variety of lunches. My brie bacon and cranbery sandwich was delicious. I really should have shared it as it meant I had no room to sample one (or more!) of the freshly baked cakes. Next time... Delightful staff

Well done Oliver’s, we were visiting Haslemere on Bank Holiday Monday, on the rebound from Darnley’s, who, despite not being particularly busy, failed to take our order after a 15 minute wait……’Dismal Darnley’s’! By contrast, the staff in Oliver’s were straight in to us (& other customers), with efficiency, anD sociability….despite actually being pretty busy! Avoid Darnley’s. Hemingway’s not even open…so they must be doing OK!

Delicious! Clearly the chefs take pride in their work and love food. The quality of the food and presentation on the plate is excellent. So impressed went twice, once for breakfast and once for lunch. Will definitely return.

Popped in to have a lovely breakfast, Oliver’s was very busy with pretty much all tables inside and out occupied, even so, service was swift and the breakfast was lovely, definitely going to try again next time we’re in Haslemere.

My girlfriend picked me up from work as my car was being repaired in Haselmere. Parked up walked into town, was hungry as not eaten much. Saw Oliver's Coffee. We walked in sat down, great service. I had the scampi, gf has the bacon buttermilk burger and we both had fizzy elderflower drinks. Everything looked and tasted amazing. Go and check it out for yourself.

Spring Bank Holiday Monday and we are looking for somewhere to eat lunch. Oliver’s has a great atmosphere and was buzzing when we arrived and found a spare table. My wife and I had the salmon and cucumber sandwiches with crisps and chips. The coffee was of a high standard one of the best I’ve had in Surrey. Last comment. Oliver’s is dogs friendly so next time we visit we will take ours along too.

Having heard the hype for many years, we thought we’d try the pub for ‘early doors’ on a Saturday evening. It was fairly quiet but we were given a warm welcome and advice on the range of beers. The atmosphere was a little lacking and the pub felt a little sparse but it wouldn’t put me off. Just a shame there’s no food offering anymore as I’d have liked to have sampled their famous Sunday roast.
