Dilli Restaurant in Waverley

Celebrated my Birthday meal at Dilli’s in Haslemere and it was absolutely fantastic. The food was outstanding! All five of us chose something different from the menu and we all found the dishes delicious. The service was excellent, with a special mention and another big thank you to Rihan who went above and beyond to ensure our dishes were cooked to our taste and that we were well looked after throughout the evening. Would highly recommend and will book again.

This was a real find. Such a beautiful place to eat. Passionate people who produce Indian food in such style... Unique flavours and dishes that must be tried... subtle and delicate use of traditional spices and so much more. And a good wine list. Can't wait to come back to repeat a great experience.

A lot going for this restaurant: food and service quality.top notch. Minor downside is the menu never changes; major downside is the high noise level that renders conversation difficult.

Ok food. Good service, if somewhat slow. Very spicy and hot despite asking for very mild. The worst bit was the noise. Absolutely unbearable, we couldn’t hear each other at all. We won’t go back as there are so many better places. It was lovely to see our friends though!

Love the Dilli. I also love the sister restaurant, the Bay Leaf in Grayshott. The food and service at both are second to none, and always the warmest of welcomes.

Great decor, terrible acoustics - couldn’t hear friends across the table (we were a round table of 6) or the waiting staff. Delicious food - melt in the mouth chicken and full of flavour. Really rushed, starter plates still on the table as they brought out main course (within 7 minutes of ordering) and still not removed just shoved back and forth across the table as they tried to find space for dishes. Not offered more drinks. We were done and dusted within 45 minutes and not tempted to stay on. Even though the food was fabulous we won’t be returning.

Second visit confirms initial impression that this is a very fine restaurant indee. The difference between this and the run of the mill 'Indian" is stark. This is Nepalese and the food not merely delicious but beautifully presented. No shortage of discreet and attentive staff. The price is marginally higher than the typical "Curry House", but this is way above the average. Suggest booking to avoid disappointment.

Second visit in the past few weeks and pleased to see the excellent standards of food and service maintained. Will definitely book again.

Modern stylish North Indian restaurant serving Punjabi, Awadhi and Mughlai dishes though the star of the evening was the Sea Bass Moilee that I think is more a Kerelan dish. All the dishes were delicious although very rich. Service was good. The decor was stylish and modern Indian a far cry from a traditional restaurant.

This restaurant has the most amazing food, great flavour. The desserts are out of this world. Excellent chefs and staff were very friendly.

We had heard good reviews about this restaurant, so decided to give it a try for our wedding anniversary. We weren't disappointed! The food was amazing, tasty, colourful and beautifully presented. The staff wonderful, friendly, attentive, helpful and enthusiastic about the food they serve. We will be back, this time not waiting for a special occasion. Just 👌

Indian with a modern twist, this was so delicious and such full of flavour it was insane. We was here for our wedding anniversary and they made us feel special. Everything we ate was a pleasure to eat. Can’t wait to go back to try more dishes.
