Visited this takeaway during COVID . Ordered on the phone standing outside the door ! Two large pizza deal . Tried to to be humorous with the girl behind the counter, just glared and sighed at me all the time. Paid contactless then asked for a receipt , she sighed again . When we got the pizzas home they were just mediocre not what we had come to expect from a quality food chain .

Myself and two friends had booked from the festive menu. The food was excellent - piping hot, delicious and plentiful. Unlike some other Green King pubs we were given crackers and a lovely little folded napkin in the shape of a Christmas tree with a chocolate coin tucked inside. The pub was nicely decorated and felt really cosy and Christmassy. The staff were wonderful' friendly, efficient and served us with genuine smiles. It's rare that our friendship group agrees on a venue but on this occasion we all agreed that we'd made the right choice and that we'd be booking again next Christmas.

Amazing location, and the excellent staff work so hard to meet our needs. Will come again!!

I have used this Fish & Chip shop at least once a week since moving to Andover several years ago. I have never had a bad meal and the staff are always polite and friendly.

The pizza was very nice and the service excellent they were very chatty that we didn’t realise the 15min wait time was over. Hope you keep up the good service

Just a constant set of mistakes from the staff ethier its food missing or the condition of your cheese burger smashed in, it's beyond a joke embarrassing really

Failed to have a sign on the door that they are only catering for the hotel only. Waited half an hour with four children for them to open the door, had to ring them ourselves to find out what was happening and person on the phone didn’t sound apologetic at all.

Portway Inn, was the best place for breakfats for my family and I. we use to go each week. Todday we were turned away and was told they no longer accept outside customers only residents only. I have taken a picture of each of these. There terms and conditions, there website, their menu and when you walk towards the reception entrance from car park, no where does it say residents only can get breakfast. what a waste of time and fuel. I am so disappointed.

The carvery this Sunday was excellent. The owner seems to have taken the bull by the horn and decided to get behind the carvery himself. The difference in quality and service was night and day from the previous year. Definately be visiting again soon and looking forward to what the weekly menu looks like. Thank you guys x

Absolutely delicious pizza and we also had chicken poppers and cheese and bacon potato tots and they were delicious too

Says 24 hours but was closed at 23:00. Embarrassing. Purposely missed turns off to get to that McDonald’s on our route home back to Liverpool.
