Just a constant set of mistakes from the staff ethier its food missing or the condition of your cheese burger smashed in, it's beyond a joke embarrassing really

Very good staff and restaurant.

Never open when they say they are open. Definitely think night crew is trying to keep people away. '24-hour' drive through. lol.

Can’t believe I’m writing a review of McDonald’s, but we stopped here on a long journey and it was extremely quick, food all great, very clean, relaxed atmosphere, plenty of seating and the staff were extremely friendly. Special thanks to Matthew who went out of his way to make it really special for our daughters and was so friendly and helpful - thank you!

Ordered to dine in. Went to collection point for my order to be put into a bag, I asked politely for it to be placed on a tray as I requested to dine in. I was told by the manager to "eat it out the bag" My brother on the other hand had his on a tray with fresh got fries unlike my stone cold ones This used to be my favourite mcdonald's but can definitely say I won't be returning after this horrible experience

McDonald’s app needs updating - not 24hrs as advertised.

No longer worth the price. Portions are small, price is high, taste is blande....there's really no point going to McDonald's anymore.

Great value stop just off on A303 (London-South West)

Ordered online, asked for no pickles in one of the burgers in my order due to an allergy. The illiterate morons at this establishment decided to put 13 pickles in the burger. Absolutely useless. Need to do better, mcdonalds!!

Go here every weekday morning for our coffee , always use the drive thru , and the staff are always smiley and upbeat , we always drive away with a smile on our faces , as the happiness is infectious, best MacDonalds in Andover :)

Normal McDonald's fayre but car park a nightmare to get in & out of when busy.

Staff were very kind to our child when we visited.

Food is what it should be, staff were super helpful.

Staff are fantastic/helpful. Place is clean, loo’s as well - which is not typical.

Update my review a year later. Never right on my orders either take away or for delivery. Missing a burger, a box of nuggets, dipping, wrong dipping etc. Unfortunately, this is the only Mcdonalds near me.

I’d like to thank the manager of the McDonald’s around 3 o clock on the 19th of October, (I didn’t get his name) me and my girlfriend was harassed by a horrible, aggressive and clearly not ok man and the manager looked after us very well and even gave us a free meal because of how bad he felt. Very nice service

Crap customer service... Poorly trained staff with no management to be seen, avoid unless of course you like your meal to be cold and completely different to what you originally ordered

It's mcdonald's, you think you can't get any better than your usual service for fast food etc but on Saturday I visited for breakfast, ordered as normal, took a seat upstairs, waiting for food to arrive only to be told they'd ran out of pancakes and I was told choose something else on the menu for breakfast or wait 20 minutes for the lunch menu. Obviously I didn't really fancy anything else but I chose my choice and waited again. The waiter came with the food, he told me that they'd managed to source the pancakes in the end and that they'd also added the other option to the order for free too for the hassle and confusion over lack of pancakes. Appreciation goes a long way, and I thoroughly appreciated the gentleman's tactfulness with having to tell me what i initially ordered wasn't available, he was so calm and apologetic. He is definitely an asset to the andover branch and as little as this Appreciation seems to most it made my morning .. it might only be a mcdonald's but the service was brilliant! I didn't quite catch his name but thank you again!

Delivery with this place has always been a joke. Always something missing or the entire order doesn't arrive completely.

Friendly and clean good service

Maybe it's because we live in Exmouth and our McDonald's is dreadful but this place was very good; the staff were well organised and efficient, the food was probably the best we have had and we couldn't fault the service.

Possibly the worst McDonald’s I’ve visited in the UK. Terribly slow, food cold and dry, they somehow made the chicken nuggets ‘pastry’.

£11 of food (plus dips) missing last time we went. £5.00 of food (plus dips) missing this time... Is it really that hard to fill a bag with items from a list?

This rating is based purely on the night time drive thru. Too many times this has been the only option anywhere close to me that's open to get anything to eat and too many times have they managed to completely screw up the food which is standard across McDonalds. Its almost as if the night crew are trying to keep people away through negative experience. If you're driving, just go down to the road to solstice park.

The food was fine and the staff were polite and friendly, but it took forever. Definitely on West Country time. It's not like they were short staffed, there were plenty of people working, just no sense of urgency, no one taking command.

This place has got a lot better recently. Very attentive staff who watch the floors and greet customers. Previously have had the drive thru get orders wrong but they have improved a lot

First review ever, but needs must… crazy experience!! Get to McDonalds at 2 mins to 10 with two kids for a McFlurry… (it’s the summer holidays and we’re staying at the Premier Inn next door).. Bear in mind this McDonalds restaurant closes at 10, but they have a 24hrs drive thru.. the manager (or the employee pretending to be) turned us away, since “they close at 10” .. I showed him the time (21:58) and he was like.. “no can do”.. I still can’t believe it.. it’s an embarrassment for the McDonalds chain and their image..

Not a quick in and out location!

Today at lunch time, I've ordered wrap, chips & apple pie. The apple pie's discard time was already half an hour ago but still it was served to me. When I pointed out they said they will bring to my table in 5 min. But 20 min passed & no one came until I finished my food. At last I've to ask for refund because I was getting late. Very bad service. The staff and manager need training on health & safety. & also time management.

40 minutes to wait with two children having ordered inside.. just eat Uber pushing to front constantly. The worst part is our wrap was another 50 minutes older than the order and belonged to another order. Was stone cold (being 2 hours old by the time I ate) see photos bought 8:52pm order 56, wrap order 22 at 8:01pm. Sorry McDonald's your not going to get money from me again

Great place to stop for a quick breakfast at A303

Says it’s open 24/7. The sign outside says drive through open and open 24 hours a day, but got there at 2 am and the door was locked and the only staff in there is a cleaner. But then doors say open till 10pm daily? Massive disappointment when driving late at night and needing a pick me up.

This is not only the worst Macdonalds I’ve ever been to but also repeatedly providers of awful customer service. They routinely get orders wrong and charge erroneously, especially later at night. Check your order before you leave - not just the boxes, they put also put the wrong burgers in the right box.

Multiple times now I have been here and against my best judgement I return. I have tried to order through the app, other services and drive through but consistently there are items missing and or wrong items on the order. My latest event left me with a Mccrispy instead of 9 piece select meal and lacking a McFlurry, provided with no receipt and not realising until I got home from the drive through left me with no option but to accept that I had lost out on the meal I asked for and £5.29 out of pocket. A disgrace to the company quite frankly. I write this as my family eat their meals after I have reluctantly finished my wrong item, this experience occurred roughly 16:55 on 26th June 2024. I will also mention that for a 24 hour open drive through I have been 3 times where the drive through has been closed within the last 6 months.

Terrible Mcdonalds. Slow service. Constantly messing up orders. Went tonight to be told it was shut though still have a line of cars coming in to try to order. Much better off driving a bit further to a different store.

I had problems GETTING TO the restaurant. Coming off the A303 you have to take the Weyhill Road. Then you see the McD’s on your right. It is not on the Weyhill Road, but in an industrial estate. There is a notice on the front of the building saying <- ENTRANCE. Then on the road after a couple of hundred yards, a turn right arrow saying CARS ONLY - which you should take. We didn’t spot this and Google Maps took us farther along Weyhill Road and a right turn onto Reith road followed by an Alice in Wonderland trip around an industrial estate. You experience part of this when you leave the restaurant. Better signage would have helped. And the restaurant itself? Run of the Mill McD’s. Wife had a Bacon Wrap (very good) - I had a double sausage egg McMuffin. Overcooked sausage and not very hot. I should have taken it back..

First visit in a while, service was quick and very cheerful staff at the service windows

Showed up at 12.28 am this McDonald's claims to be a 24hr drive through however I showed up to see a closed 24hr drive through, as did 4 other people whilst writing this review. Save your time, money and fuel and don't bother trying to get a drive through.

Fairly quick service and pretty clean

Does what it says on the tin, right? I wouldn't normally rate a McDonald's restaurant, but the customer experience guy (can't remember his name, sorry) really went above and beyond for us and all customers in store. He mentioned the facilities for our newborn, activities and gifts for our older children, extra sauces - above and beyond. Hopefully somebody from the branch sees this and can let him know..

Was quite busy, so glad food was provided quickly.

Great pitstop for an early morning munch

Only thing I’m rating here is the 24 hour drive through. Which is never actually open. As someone who works on portway and gets back late from work sometimes, it’s convenient to pop over to grab some food. Basically shuts when the restaurant shuts, because it’s ran by kids and they can’t be arsed to keep it open. I wonder if upper management above the restaurant itself know it’s shut 90% of the time.

Went for a takeaway breakfast on Sunday which took 30mins to receive. Hardly fast food

Saturday. The member of staff in the downstairs seating area, was an asset to the company, he was so helpful and pleasant mannered. The place was spotless.

At the drive through at McDonalds in Andover they have two lanes which filter in to one to pay and collect your food. When busy it puts an long wait time! Design needs to be rethought

In busy times parking can be tricky as not the most spaces available. This is the better McDonald in Andover.

Very sloppy service on drive thru, had 3 visits in 3 days and all orders wrong. Make sure you check. Also food was ok, cooking standard low even for McDonald's

Staff friendly and helpful, toaster machine broke, was informed, within 5 minutes food out, apologies for delay , impressed

My wait time is currently at 1 hour and 20mins for a delivery via just eat, I have tried to call but on one is picking up the phone, the latest is if I receive my order means it would have taken 2 hours, what the hell is that all about!!! The wait goes on!! Awful sevice

The server was not rude but was abrupt and her face would have cracked if she smiled.

Great McDonald's.. I always use this as my 'pitstop' between Devizes (family visits) and Winchester (home)

Late visit, and it was virtually empty. Very clean and tidy and the food was served quickly.

Drive through is absolutely not 24/7 yet it’s advertised as 24/7 service.

Food definitely needs to be more fresh. The chips we received were old, you could tell they'd been sitting out a while. Though the staff were very nice! The place seemed clean but it's almost like they didn't want you in the actual restaurant (where you might go to sit down - I actually don't know if that's allowed! We were not made to feel like that was ok!) Thus my 3 stars. I'd go back again! The chocolate milkshake is *always* great. But overall it wasn't the best McDonald's we'd been to. Sorry guys!

The best McDonald’s we’ve been to! Fast service and hot food. My son accidentally dropped his McMuffin on the floor and a male member of staff called James saw and immediately bought us a replacement within a minute! Was very impressed! Cleanest McDonald’s toilets we’ve been in too!

I would love to be able to review the food or atmosphere but despite the sign on the door saying 24/7 it seems to be shut everytime I go (usually after midnight). They shut off the drive through, but also the main doors were locked. All the lights were on and I could see the staff inside. This isn’t the first time this has happened

Waited at the drive through for service for a few minutes, a car drove onto the other service drive through and got served straight away. I was not happy.. The reason I called there was because I was in a rush to begin with. When I questioned the person at the cash window, he said he didn't realise. Which if is the case I would have let it go, but it has happened again since.. So just a pointer for people going there, stay in the left lane, you will be served first.. Lol. Food was good as always.

Brought drive thru on Christmas Eve. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food arrived quickly.

Stopped off for lunch on a road trip with the kids, very clean, tidy, and quick service. The food was even fresh and the staff very helpful

Sign says open at 6, waited at drive through for about 5 mins with no service went around parked up and went to the door with it still be locked this was at about 0615 ended up leaving as no one came to the door, don't say your open at 6 when your clearly not open and ready to go

Wrap of the day spicy chicken was good relaxed in the upstairs with a coffee. Quite quick service the server was happy to be there and smiling. Machine easy to order from

Best McDonald's I've been to outside of my own country, and Yvel seems to be such a lovely manager.

Got here well after midnight so ordered through the app. Great service from the staff. Usually stop at Amesbury on my trips from the South West to London, but I'll be stopping here instead from now.

Had to wait for quite a few minutes to get my food Could have moved me to a waiting bay instead of holding everyone else up!!!

Went through the drive through today. Ordered a new burger on the menu. 'Big and cheesy' paid over £8. Fine. Drive to next window get given my food. (Should've checked) but long queue didn't allow time. Get back to work to find out I've been given chicken nuggets. How the hell can you not tell the difference between a burger and chicken nuggets is beyond me. Maybe the old lady who served me with brown/red hair should retire. School boy mistake shouldn't happen.

It’s “24hr” drive thru but not really.. we ordered on the app for pick up through the drive thru only to drive down and find its closed off after accepting my order. And the main areas closed too so I can’t just walk in and pick it up either.. not great.

Is it difficult to just put CLOSED on your app! Not the first time I've driven up to the 24hr McDonald's and it's been closed!
