We recently booked Durban Spice for a private dining experience. First off the ease and communication from Shabs was first class. On the evening, the welcome to us and the rest of our guests was super warm and friendly. Sarah did an excellent job of hosting us and accommodating to all ensuring we all felt at ease. The food was literally incredible, the flavours were even better than the food back home in Durban. Sarah & Shabs did a great job explaining the dishes, their story and how they come to get that real true Durban flavour and spice. Thank you so much, it made for a wonderful evening and our guests thoroughly enjoyed it. If you are looking for not just amazing food but a true South African dining experience don’t hesitate to book. 🇿🇦🍾🙏🏼

We were looking for somewhere for a quick coffee before arriving at the nearby Le Manoir. What a perfect little find in a quintessential English village, and most definitely unexpected. All looks fairly new. It’s a modern design with a modern take on their food. Staff all exceptional as was coffee. We had a couple of small snacks, which were both delightful (particularly the scotch egg).

I went to this amazing little restaurant yesterday off Oxford Street London. All I can say is what a find. The two courses for £15 was outstanding value for money, they even have you bread, olives and hummus while you were waiting to order. The wind was reasonable and lovely too. The staff were so accommodating and even charged my mobile phone for me.

The Sun is a stunning quintessential British pub tucked away in the quiet village of Wheatley. The Pub has a warm, cosy and traditional feel throughout, with exposed brick and beams. The garden is expansive and great on a summers day! The manager Dimi and his team are welcoming and friendly.

Used to like going here but recently the portion sizes have turned into a joke. Had fish cakes for a starter. Was the size of 2 x 3mm thick slices of peperoni. For mains I had a curry and rice, the food was nice but again the portions are terrible (it is not as if rice is expensive). So after leaving we had to go somewhere else to have a real meal.

I ordered food for collection, and although it was ready in 25 minutes, it was mid at best. The pakoras (4) were soggy and unimpressive by the time they got home. The chicken tikka biryani was also a little disappointing. The rice had almost no flavour. The chicken was tasty but there wasn’t much of it. The vegetable curry was okay, but still uninspired. Overall the biryani was lacking in flavour and underwhelming. I’m a little disappointed, I’ll probably go elsewhere for an Indian takeaway next time.

i am mortified. i was stranded in this area after a horrific incident happened to me. i ran to this pub for safety. i was very shaken up and ran to the toilet to sort myself out. as i went to talk out as my uber had arrived an old woman behind the counter (24/08/24) at around 1pm shouted at me ‘EXCUSE ME, SAY THANK YOU’ in a very harsh and degrading way. i have currently got tonsillitis and it is very painful when i talk but upon exit i smiled at her and this is what i got in response??? this added to the trauma i just experienced. you never know what someone is going through. i WILL be taking this further. i am disgusted.

We arrived for our table to not be ready, so was told to wait in the bar area. There was no member of staff in the bar area so we couldn't even get a drink. There were dirty dishes and glasses all over the bar. We were also a bit annoyed that we didn't have a courtesy email or phone call to say that they only had a limited menu. There didn't seem to be enough members of staff either so I can't imagine how long we would of had to wait for food. We went elsewhere which is a shame as we used to love coming to the Harvester
