The Queens Head in South Oxfordshire

Superb! If you love Thai food then you cannot experience better than this. A firm favourite restaurant for us, with wonderful friendly welcoming owner and staff in both the pub area, and restaurant. Quality of food is not to be missed. They do takeaway too for collection, equally amazing quality. Varied menu choices, and attention to detail is impressive. Take a visit and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed :-)

Friendly staff, good selection of drinks but the highlight was the lunchtime fish and chips. Exceptionally well cooked, crisp light batter, perfectly cooked fish, chips were thick cut, crisp and fluffy. Worth going back for.

Perfect hotel with extremely friendly service and atmosphere. They’re not able to provide a full breakfast but there is fruit, a brioche roll, porridge, tea and coffee so enough to start the day. Evening Thai meal in the pub was excellent. Would definitely be my hotel of choice when visiting the Oxford area. Thank you for a great stay and wonderful memories.

The queens head accommodation is ok, rooms are average could do with better decor example modern bathroom but overall just ok. Service is great sound people running the place friendly staff. Best of it is the food. Thai chef running the kitchen cooking up some really nice Thai food highly recommend!!

The staff were so friendly and welcoming, we arrived late and even though they had closed, they insisted serving us drinks. The room was great, lovely and warm, spotless and had fresh towels toiletries and fruit and croissants left for breakfast.. Our experience was exceptional due to the staff, surroundings and atmosphere, thank you

You shouldn't be claustrophobic here. Unfortunately the bedroom was only 9 square meters and the shower didn't work. Staff was friendly and food was good.

Lovely friendly place for a drink and the delicious Thai food is a must if you like thai and haven't tried it !

Stayed for four nights and it was lovely. The room was clean and has everything you need - they don’t do breakfast, but they leave a supply of fruit and brioche with the tea and coffee in the room along with a list of where to get breakfast locally. The landlord is super friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The pub is lovely and the service great the outdoor areas are well kept and convenient. The Thai food in the restaurant is excellent. Highly recommended.

Very friendly place, everything you could ask for. I stayed one night on a business trip. The Thai food is amazing and well worth a try. They also had English dishes that looked good if you don’t like Thai food
