Service was great even though staff were working in difficult situations with lots of complaints. A lot of the food was unavailable due to delivery problem. Wish we had been advised of this before hand (had booked table in advance) so we could have made alternative plans as this was for a birthday celebration. Wait for service and drinks was quite long.

We arrived for our table to not be ready, so was told to wait in the bar area. There was no member of staff in the bar area so we couldn't even get a drink. There were dirty dishes and glasses all over the bar. We were also a bit annoyed that we didn't have a courtesy email or phone call to say that they only had a limited menu. There didn't seem to be enough members of staff either so I can't imagine how long we would of had to wait for food. We went elsewhere which is a shame as we used to love coming to the Harvester

Went for dinner last night for hubby’s birthday. Was seated straight away on chairs that were torn or just foam, they clearly need upholstering or replacing. We were seated straight away, and placed our order within 10 minutes of arriving. An hour and a half later we got our food, it was revolting. Pork belly was so burnt you couldn’t even cut through it with steak knife, pulled pork not sure what that resembled and the burger had a very strange taste! Mixed grill and Ultimate combo also were not good, everything was very overcooked and very dry. Majority of food was left (in fact we took home the meat for the dogs!). When I spoke to manager discreetly away from our table she told me she’d already taken £75 off our bill before we even discussed the quality of food, so she was clearly aware it was substandard. I had a pleasant conversation with her and she agreed to waiver our bill completely without me suggesting a further discount on what she’d already said she’d deducted. The people on the table next to us were much more vocal about their complaints. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning. Our waitress the lady with the tattoos and the manager were both very nice and can’t complain on that front but for basic chain restaurant the food was terrible and a very disappointing experience. McFlurry’s on way home were the best part of the evening.

My first visit. Being a nationwide chain restaurant, it was exactly what I expected. May have been to one in the past, but really cannot remember. The food and choice of drinks was fine and reasonably priced. Waiting staff were friendly.

We went for my son's birthday. Food wasn't , great accept for salad bar, that was lovely. The mushrooms were battered and in old oil and soggy. The food was dry and over cooked. Our waiter was incredibly rude and came across like he just about to quit and walk out. I was so disappointed as we love harvester ,maybe it was an off day for them, I also had to call one of the waitress to one side as all the toilet cubicles in ladies were usable. As disgusting. Such a shame. I tried to find a manager to speak to but couldn't find them.

Been here twice now and the staff simply can't seem to be bothered to open up on time. Leaving 20mins later and still not open.

Such a friendly waitress so helpful. Food wasn't the best but as expected. Lots of salad though and all priced well. Best of all it was air-conditioned on the hottest day this was a godsend.

The restaurant was almost empty and there weren’t any staff by the entrance or bar to greet us. We got treated horribly rude with an attitude after a long waiting. NOT recommended!!!

Our waitress was fantastic and our food was delicious spoilt by the immature behaviour from the younger members of staff totally unprofessional at one stage it felt like we were in a playgroup in a restaurant most offensively threatening behaviour from one member of staff towards another this was witnessed on two occasions Unforgivable

Toni-jane was brilliant. Very friendly and helpful. Steaks were beautiful. Will deffo come back .

Had a really good experience tonight, lovely waitress called Toni-Jane. She has the most kind approach and has very good manners, lovely lady. Would love for her to serve us next time.

The first time we have been to this Harvester, the restaurant is very well set out and was very clean and tidy, the staff were very friendly and professional, the food was well cooked and well presented, it was altogether a great experience and we will not hesitate to return next time we feel like a meal out. Thank you Havester staff you were amazing.

Most of the food was excellent. Except for my treacle sponge and custard. The bas of the pudding was cold and hard also we ordered battered mushrooms and garlic dip. There was excess oil within the batter which was off putting. The waitress who served us was first class and very professional

Brilliant service, food was amazing! And also not a long wait for it! Blonde haired girl with pony tail with tattoos on her arm was so lovely, very friendly and always there when needed. Fab service!

I came in with my partner tonight for dinner and was served by Carolina. She was warm, welcoming and attentive. This was the first time we had been served by Carolina and she left a great impression. We hope to be served by her again when we next visit.

Had a great family meal, brilliant service from Toni-Jani, meals were cooked beautifully, we will definitely return!

Great service from out waitress Sophie, best harvester experience so far.

Booked to stay at the Travel Lodge and were delighted to find a Harvester attached. We had dinner (tea) and it was fabulous. Our server Sophie was amazing and looked after us brilliantly. The Mrs had scampi and I had the Ultimate Grill....and ultimately failed. Food was delicious and plentiful. I would definitely come back and hope that I served by Sophie again. She was sad with us that we don't have a Harvester anywhere near us.

Came for a meal and was not disappointed food was hot and fresh our server Sophie was polite and kept checking on us. A credit to your business.

Had a bad experience here couple years ago thought I would give it another go. Wow food was fantastic service really really good have been a couple of times now

We had a lovely meal, so tasty and so full when we finished. It makes such a difference to the whole experience of dining out when you have really good service too. Sophie was attentive and cheerful, nothing was too much trouble. We’ll be back.

Ordered 1983 combo, food arrived warm after been sitting on the pass for a while (l suspect)found out after we paid we were served the "original combo"

Service was terrible. We waited over 10 minutes for staff to seat us. They sent us to a table that was dirty, still had plates on it and had 3 chairs but we required 4 chairs. A member of our party stood for 5 minutes at our table whilst staff found another chair. The waitress forgot our drinks order twice, and it took over 20 minutes to get our drinks. When dinner arrived, 1 member of our party received the wrong meal and had to wait another 10 minutes for the correct meal to be made as the waitress submitted the order incorrectly. The worst meal was the fish and chips. It was dry, overcooked and hard.

Went here as it was a great halfway place to meet with family for a celebration. Probably just picked a bad day, but I came here previously a week before Christmas with friends and experienced delays then too. Maybe too many customers and not enough cooks, but the 2 hour wait for main courses and the resulting bits of our meal that were lukewarm and dry (which had clearly been keeping warm for a long period) pretty much spoiled our get-together. The passive aggression from the stressed out waitress didn't help either. Won't take the gamble of going here again.

The staff were helpful, the food was tasty and the 40 percent off deal with extremely good value. The chicken was well cooked and the flame grill tasted lovely. Also really loved the kicking garlic sauce

Food OK. What you'd expect from a harvester restaurant. Salad bar probably the highlight. Too dark inside and no atmosphere. Nothing to write home about.

Great food and a great price, our server, Toni Jane was attentive and friendly. The team were very welcoming and busy.

Came Sunday morning not open although website says it was.

I visited the restaurant on Father's Day. The restaurant was super busy and the service was very slow but the food was amazing. Very negative experience that the person in charge was constantly shouting at the members of the kitchen. However, I asked to know who prepared my dish and it was Chef Nina. She is to be congratulated. It is unacceptable for a manager to show that he has lost control and to constantly shout at his colleagues. This should be fixed immediately.

We were seated straight away with a window seat. The room was bright, but it could definitely do with some TLC. Several areas needed painting, and the walls by our seat had flaking paint and plaster. The food arrived promptly, was well presented, and tasty. The salad bar was full and looked great. Our haddock and chips were lovely. There's a good choice of drinks.

We love the Bridge Harvester. We have been coming here for years and rarely have any bad experiences. Posh nosh it isn't, but if you like BBQ meat and salad then this could well be for you 😁

Visited with friends and family on Sunday. The manager seated us and we were looked after by Lexi. She was very smile, friendly and patient as our young guest was struggling to choose his food. Nothing was to much trouble. Will definitely be visiting again when in the area. Great service from another Mitchell & Butler brand as I am a Toby

We were sat down and waited 40 minutes. No one took our order, despite trying to ask one of the waiting staff whether it was table service or not (we’ve been to harvester before and know that we’ve been served at the table before) We ended up walking out after 40 minutes as we had two tiny toddlers to feed and it was frankly terrible service

Just visited this pub ordered food but it took 37 minutes to arrive but we questioned the time in which the food took to arrive the manager came over to speak to us but he is incredibly rude wouldn't let us talk we simply just asked why we wasn't told about the wait when ordering the food but the manager wouldn't let us talk and to be honest based on his behaviour we asked for the bill payed and left, all we wanted was to be told about the wait when ordering but this want the case customers are always right but on this occasion apparently we were in the wrong so we will not be returning

We are frequent visitors of this Harvester and it’s a shame to say after this visit we won’t be returning. With a partner in the restaurant business knowing the standards of the way things should be done, and having visited various restaurants together around the country, this was a bad experience. We frequently visited as a comfortable place for us with our young children. We ordered starters and for our child’s main to come alongside those so it was cool enough for him to eat with our mains. They came out and his was cool which we thought “oh that’s brilliant, they’ve made sure our little one can eat straight away”.. Seconds later we were told our mains are also ready as they’ve wanted to rush our food out so they can go home, and brought those over when we hadn’t begun our starters. These were also borderline cold. As a paying customer coming out for a nice relaxed family meal, this caused stress for us feeling rushed to eat our food before it all were to go cold, which it already was, and trying to make space for our child not to grab anything with all of the full plates on the table. My partner spoke with the new general manager, who we felt handled it amazingly, although we could see and hear the “telling off” and also so could others in the restaurant, which should have been dealt with in a more private setting away from customers. We were offered our meals cooked again, or 50% off the bill, we chose the second option as we wouldn’t trust the food after complaining as you hear the horror stories with doing that. We also didn’t order our child a pudding for that reason. The new general manager is great and has all of the ability to turn the whole place around, however over the years we have had multiple issues here and this was the last one. For example standing waiting at the door when first arriving for 10-20 minutes waiting isn’t ideal, neither is being seated incredibly close to the toilet door which all happened multiple times on different occasions but not this evening. The waiting staff are great, and the new general manager is amazing, however this place does need turning around by someone strong willed with a passion for it. Good luck for the future and I hope maybe we can come back in a few years and see improvements 🤞 but for now, would not recommend.

Staff were lovely and attentive and food was great apart from I asked for a cheese less burger and didn't realise until I nearly got to the end that there was cheese in it, I was compensated two free desserts but please be wary if you are lactose intolerance and make sure to check your food before eating, other than that we all had a great time :)

In a sentence. It took ages. 30 minutes after sitting down we ordered. An hour later we had mains, due to the length of time it took to receive mains we decided to order dessert during that course, which was a good idea as they arrived shortly after finishing our food. We were not the only table to be left waiting for long periods of time for food. Will not be returning. And can not recommend!

There was a little bit of an odd smell as you first walked in to the Harvester. That aside, the service was fab and food was good.

I always love the atmosphere here, and I am always treated very kindly. This time, Lexi made us feel at home. Thank you!

Had an absolutely amazing evening. The staff were amazing, friendly, and inviting. There was a slightly longer than normal wait, but they told us on entry what to expect due to the staff illnesses (I'd rather wait then be poorly 😂) Couldn't have asked for better service, food was delicious and the people were lovely.

Swapped our table at our request with no problem. Caroline was friendly and attentive and the food was delicious.

Place has got really run down. Floors and tables was so dirty 🤮! Salad bars items looked like they have been sat there for months. Rolls as stale as stale. Food over priced service slow don’t think will come again!

Absolutely love this venue for quality of food and service. The meal was hot, adequate and freshly cooked. The service was the usual continued friendly, attentive and efficient delivery. All credit to a hard working, reliable team. Well done Mel our Server! 20th April 2024 Friends and I had a lovely meal here today 😋 Although the salad bar has less choice now and the bowls are noticeably smaller, the food was fresh and tasty. Our main meals were very good although after sending one ribeye back twice the diner changed to the grilled chicken which was perfect 👌🏿 Our server today was the delightful and friendly Emjay. An absolute credit to the team 👏🏿 Looking forward to visiting again soon 😀

Just collected too good to go collection. The rotisserie chicken and salad are good.

We went for the chicken dinner. The food was great but I did notice that 3 coffees and a small soft drink almost doubled our bill so beware.

Many times they charge you more because so many orders and less staff

Awful. Didn't start well I ordered a bitter shandy have no idea what the beer was but definitely not bitter.so I ordered haddock and chips,my fish looked like it came from a crematorium was so over cooked both ends was so hard totally un edible. My daughter had the waffles but no Mabel syrup no blue cheese sauce. Other than the young lady who served us who was great. It's somewhere id never return to I would have complained but we had my wife's parents over from Germany so didn't want to embarrass them. And I spent well over £100 to eat second grade food. Awful really is a understatement.

The food wasn't great. Wanted a medium rare steak but got a medium. All meals took long to come. It looks like there was just one waitress on the floor

Good choice of food ,a good value lunch time set menu, service by waitress Mel was very friendly and gave great service. Bar staff and Team are very welcoming, a nice atmosphere for all ages. I will be returning to Harvester Bridge wheatley

The service was great, young lad looking after multiple large tables and he was very professional. Improve the food. My goodness, it was awful! The meat was dry and tasteless, garlic mushrooms contained a soggy mushy paste, not actual mushrooms and tasted of fish!

It's such a shame to have to leave a bad review but went and had the mixed grill it was bad cold sausage think was reheat from breakfast chicken was cold and hard my partner had fish well should I say batter food was not good

Started as lovely quiet table in corner on Saturday evening so we could talk to eachother and catch up as adult family, then group with 2 babies was sat next to us, quiet adult evening split. Really feel restaurants should have adult only area as some of us want to have time without babies snd children when spending money eating out.

Food is way below average and drinks and is no good if you like Guinness

Salad bar was great as always, but the main meals meat was very fatty and chewey. The staff also ignored our table after seating us, taking the orders of tables sat after us before ever approaching. This was the 2nd visit as the first time had been good, but probably won't be rushing back any time soon.

Steak was not cook when someone ask how it’s cook, medium rare, was medium cooked. And certainly, we just cannot wait for another 20-25 minutes to change. Reception person was questioning why there’s 5 people when I booked for 4, is that a big deal for one person added? He should be happy the more the better.

Service was great, walked in with no reservation on a Saturday at lunchtime and was seated immediately. Orders taken swiftly. Salad bar was well stocked and fresh. Our waiter was very attentive and everyone’s food was excellent.

The food was amazing, reasonably priced and although our table wasn't ready upon arrival, we didn't have to wait too long. The service was a little slow however the food arrived hot and we had the salad bar and deserts which were all lovely. Only improvement that could have been made was slightly better service however it wasn't really an issue

The salad bar is always fresh and well stocked with no cross contamination unlike the harvester in aylesbury where every spoon is a mixed salad. Staff a re friendly. Food is well cooked and tastes amazing. Highly recommend visiting. I've never had a bad experience.

Came in on the 17/2. I had the pleasure off being served by Sean and Beth. They were so helpful and welcoming. Amazing experience all round. Can not wait to return.

Always love going to Harvester for a meal with my Dad, How ever tonites meal was awful, On arrival we were told the they had no roast chicken, We were both planning on have that, I then order fish and a jacket potato After a little wait ( it was Saturday nite) I was informed that someone had missed counted the potatos and they also had none, Obviously we ate what we had and left Also no hot water or hand-wash in the mens toilet

We stopped by on Friday night on our way home from a very long day, on ur arrival the place was busy however the host Beth welcomed us with a smile and Sean showed us to our table who then delivered our drinks order. we ordered our food, both drinks and food arrived I good time, we were looked after throughout our visit thank you so munch we will be back both an asset to the company

We visited the restaurant on a busy Sunday lunch. Even though the place was busy we were seated quickly by Sean. We ordered our food which arrived within good time, it was delicious! The service was great and staff were friendly!

Not very impressed, with the food we both had same meal mixed grill had to send back as it was cold all but the chips which were nice, so they cooked use a second meal which was a bit warmer but steak dry, I just ate what we could and left the rest, so we were not impressed at all and would think again before booking a table again, our ist visit at a harvester for a few years and we were disappointed with our experience

The person who welcomed us (or didn’t in our case) took a few minutes to acknowledge us, and even then he seemed fed up at having to even say hello. There was no smile or anything. We got sat at a pokey table, handed menus and walked off. Another lad came over to serve us and took our order. I ordered the rotisserie chicken, and some of it close to the bone was undercooked with veins still very red. The corn on the cob was extremely cold which I sent back. The lad brought me another which was steaming but it was clearly frozen on the middle still and had just been made warm by some hot water so I sent that back too. The butter didn’t even melt on it….i thought harvester was well knowing for putting corn on the grill? Just an FYI, frozen cobs cooked in water is vile, tasteless and clearly doesn’t cook it properly. We were offered a free dessert but with the mannerism of the miserable staff, we were in and out within 45 minutes. No goodbye either. Just miserable atmosphere.

Great value family meal for seven. Booked a table quickly and easily online, arrived and was seated promptly and food arrived soon after ordering. Plenty of salad available in the salad cart, good choice of food on menu. We actually chose a two and three course deal for evenings and bottomless drinks which made the cost of a meal for 7 (all eating adult portions) very reasonable. Food was hot and tasted good. Waiting staff very polite and friendly. Bill provided quickly upon request so we could leave as soon as we had finished dessert. A lovely half term meal out as a family.

Absolutely disgusted with Harvester…. Out for a birthday meal and we have Been waiting for 1 hour and 45 minutes for our food…. When we have asked the staff we are being told it going to be at least another 10 minutes. But still nothing. They offered to give us free dessert, which whilst we appreciate the effort, unfortunately it is just not good enough. they have said they are short staffed etc… whilst I understand being short staffed makes it difficult, they are still seating more people and serving them their food before us… is not good at all! After 1 hour and 45 minutes, as I’m sure you can imagine, we have no appetite now. And are very upset. Finally 2 people have been given their meals, yet there are multiple items missing… whilst the rest of the table are still waiting…. It’s appalling. Never again will we be visiting! It’s a disgrace…

Avoid this place Shame there wasn’t an option for no stars, after what I experienced this evening. Thank you Harvester for ruining my sons 21st Birthday meal. - After waiting over 2 hours, food was under cooked! - food brought out over 20 mins apart I could go on, but I’m so disappointed, I have no words! The picture is one of the meals that came out! The waiting staff, were so ashamed all they kept doing was apologising to us, as they didn’t know what to say!

Waited well Over an hour for our meal. It was warm which disappointed us all. Toilets are disgusting. Staff are ok, didn't think much to the guests smoking at the entrance.
