Lovely friendly staff and great fish and chips!

Food is great compared to most chippy/kebab establishments. Highly recommended place.

The fish is delectable and the chips slap too. A little expensive however that is expected in such an area. The staff are good fellas so I recommend completely. That is my very professional opinion

Chicken Nuggets were fantastic, chips were mediocre and very small portion about half the size of any other chip shop. Could do with a refresh inside and a menu putting on the wall so you can decide before getting to the till. Also rather expensive, this might be in goring but needs to change.

Rung up for delivery and the bloke could not speak English. Real poor service and will advise on other sites about those

Still how does this place get 4.4 star reviews there hygiene ratings is so low. I've tried this place many times now and always disappointed one star is too kind minus 1 is more like it. The reviews must be fake as the place doesn't deserve its ratings

I guess the price for regular size cod and chips is average at £11.50 these days, but the size of the fish fillet was ridiculously small and likewise the chips were very few. Quality was ok which stepped the review to 2 stars rather than 1. Picked up as a takeaway (presented in a closed box) on the way through Goring so wasn't going to travel back 15 miles, otherwise I would have complained or taken back. Don't rip off passing trade.

Pit stop to refuel having cycled the ridgeway from Stonehenge on the King Alfred Way, before continuing on to Reading. Food was great as was the freshly made milkshake, service was quick, polite and friendly, perfect when you're famished!

Over priced and not much in the box.

So even after being given a hygiene rating of 2 stars, they still only managed to up it to 4 star, upon reinspection. You takes your chances....

Great local chippy with friendly staff and excellent service. Would benefit from a couple more vegan options (pie/sausage) that would also benefit vegetarians. Always clean and a nice seating area if you did want to eat in.

beautiful creations of food this deluxe chip shop conjured up, the staff are friendly and the food is up to the highest standard much better then other local chippys and the seating area is very pleasant definitely recommend

Always receive a friendly welcome and the fish and chips are consistent. Do like the burgers too. Only thing missing for me is a chicken kebab option.

Chips just the way I like them. Mixture of fat chips and crispy chips. Fish was massive. The service was spot on. I can see why it’s popular with the locals.

Enjoyed a lovely cod (large size) with Mediterranean salad and mozzarella sticks. Great taste and friendly staff made the place really delightful!

Bought two kebabs and chips last night. All the food was piping hot, good portion sizes and great quality. The chilli sauce was the best that I have had. I will definitely be going back for more.

Lovely fish and chips and very generous portion sizes.

Opening times are incorrect. they do not open at 12 noon on Fridays. but tat the same time as the rest of the week. A shame, as a Fish and chip Friday lunch would be quite nice.

Nice friendly lads. Fish went a bit soggy with all the excess wrapping, but chips were good. They will get better with time. Update - Ordered again last time after a few months and they have indeed changed the packaging. Fish was a good size. Crispy and very fresh and flaking inside. Will be back!
