The best restaurants in Folkestone Park Shepway South East

What incredible ladies, who kindly catered for our children’s christening. Nothing was to much trouble, and they were extremely helpful with our special dietary guests. A super service, delivered with smiles and even more delicious food! They even added a special little touch and decorated their truck for the occasion. A massive massive thank you as it made the day so much less stressful for me! Keep doing what you are doing because it is great!

The food is quite good, can be a bit dry, but not too bad, food is nice and cheap, the card readers are really slow, but you get £2 free for lunch, which is well good, henceforth, in conclusion, I highly recommend checking it out, as long as you have 15 years to wait for the card readers (they dont take cash)

Lovely little tearoom just by the park and round the corner from the station. I would say good value for money, friendly service and a warm welcome. They are also run as part of the local college to allow students with learning difficulties to gain life skills so not only do you get a lovely drink and welcome, you are also helping a local business support our young people. If you are passing go in and have a sit down, there are a few tables on the ground floor but also a room upstairs seating about 8 for meet ups, afternoon teas, etc. If you are off to London for the day start it off with a quick visit there, they are open 10.00 till 3.00. A little gem of a place and dog friendly as well, what is there not to love?

Not very friendly, bar manager hadly spoke! Very tatty!

Stopped by to grab a coffee and the place looked great, the coffee was alright. On that day the service was not the most friendly and effective. But I do understand that we all have days that we are not feeling it.

Average food and the lady that served was really miserable. There are definitely better places.

So sad after all these years it's shut down

Always liked the atmosphere at the master brewer. Nice location with duck pond near by and free parking. Had a really good time for a friend's birthday recently but the only issue is they were running out of drinks... To the point I had a vodka lemonade with more vodka than lemonade because they were running out of mixer. I wasn't complaining but it was a curious situation to be in. Regardless of the lack of supply the bar staff were friendly and accommodating. In the words of Arnie in the terminator... I'll be back

We booked a table for 2 and got a confirmation email and an email the day before to remind us. We arrived and the restaurant was closed. We went into the pub to be told be the barman that it doesn’t open on Mondays. I showed him the email and he said “oh no they haven’t sorted the website” He pointed us to “the boss” who shrugged his shoulders and said it was nothing to do with him and walked off. There are lots of restaurants in Folkestone who look after their.customers This clearly isn’t one of them. So I would advise anyone who expects to be treated to good customer service to avoid this one.

Food was dry and over cooked and cold, definitely not fresh cooked. Very disappointing.Pineapple stick was nice

With only 6 tables being occupied, 3 members of staff on, waited 10 mins for coffees (2) then when served it was wrong, down to staff too busy chatting and not concentrating.

I recently visited Morrisons and was thoroughly disappointed by the state of cleanliness in the store, particularly in the cafe. The floors were sticky and littered with crumbs, tables were not wiped down, and there was a noticeable lack of attention to hygiene standards. It gave the impression that cleanliness is not a priority at all. To make matters worse, the fire alarm kept going off repeatedly, which was both disruptive and concerning. Despite the chaos, the staff didn’t seem overly friendly or apologetic about the situation, which only added to the overall negative experience. This visit has definitely put me off returning to this location. Morrisons needs to take immediate action to improve its standards and staff training!
