I just went there to enjoy the live band show which was very cool. I had a pint of non alcoholic drink lemonade and pineapple juice.

Front bar quite spacious, big screens to watch the sport if thats your thing. Thai restaurant Thong Dees out the back is nicely tucked away. Quite snug, service was great as was the food. First time there, won't be the last and will definitely recommend to others.

Great local pub with friendly atmosphere and best Thai food in Folkestone. I sometimes work from there between getting off the train and picking my son up from nursery and never feel judged for getting my laptop out in the corner 😂

An absolutely fantastic place to stay, Terry was so lovely and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Our rooms were amazing, super clean, big and modern. Everything was thought of in our accommodation. Love the little quirky things around the place. Great location and price. Will definitely be coming back again. Thanks to all.

Before I continue I must say that, had it not been for the Smokers it would have been a definite 5 star. My hubby and I had never been to the Park Inn before, as from the outside it doesn't look inviting. What a surprise we found when going inside. A beautiful bar area and a buzz from the customers. We were served quickly. Soup and chicken fillet starters went down well. Turkey and Beef dinners both tasty and very hot which pleased me no end. Crumble and Christmas pud desserts finished a perfect meal. The staff were brilliant and couldn't be faulted in any way. The only let down to the whole visit was the fact that we had to walk through Smokers to get back to our car which was disgusting and two of our friends will not go near the Park because of this issue. They can't be the only ones and it is such a pity that the minority can spoil things for the majority.

Handy for Folkestone central station. Large bar, good beer, nice outside smoking area. Live music at weekends. If it does close after New Year it will be a sad loss.

Excellent Sunday lunch, but be quick as the Park Inn will close on New Year's Eve. Sad to lose such a great place.

The room here was very basic. The ensuite small with a very small handbasin and no shelving to put anything in there. There was only one small mirror over the sink; none in the bedroom. The bed was old and very uncomfortable. Would not like to stay there again!

Great roast but they've put up the prices from £11 to £14 since the pandemic but that is for 2 courses

Given a dirty glass, asked for a clean one no apology and the fresh glass was dirtier than the first. On the plus side clean toilet and friendly regulars.

I have been here a couple of times for Sunday roast and the food is very good. There is plenty of food on the plate and its very well cooked. I thought that It was good value for money aswell. During these COVID times we are having at the moment the seating areas are well thought out and i felt very safe. The ony down point i could find is that there is no child changing rooms, I will go back for a Sunday roast soon!

Went to the Park Inn for Sunday Lunch , So tasty ,great portion ,served hot ,nothing was too much trouble ,price includes a dessert came away so stuffed . Went back on Thursday night (steak night ) this was also a good portion ,steak was so tasty and served hot ,cooked to my liking also comes with dessert . I will be going back and would recommend to friends and family ,without doubt the best meals around .

Lovely clean rooms,clean all round within the Hotell,great value for money,nice little breakfast bag,great value for money,GreT location as well,bus stop nearby,highly reccomend.

Nice pub friendly staff, good choice of drinks as well as a good place to watch football & sports multiple screens. pub has a pool table too. Food is served here though I've never tried it. Nice and close to Folkestone central train station.

On a recent visit to Folkestone I met up with an old friend. We sat at the bar swinging the lantern and reminiscing on many years past. The service was very efficient with the barsaff remembering the round and topping up the drinks. Thank you to the staff for helping to make this a good night to remember. I will be back next time I'm in town.

Went to park inn today with my sister in law for the 1st time for myself and img it was amazing all freshly cooked a great selection of fresh veg and nice and hot then had a dessert apple crumble and custard amazing highly recommended next time I'm visit I'll be going back here my sister in law had the same she had this dessert caramac sundae I forgot to take pic of my crumble

Stayed for 3 nights visiting our grandson. Extremely impressed staff so friendly and helpful. What impressed us was room was excellent for our stay really clean towels change every day and break fast bag each morning. Would definitely book here again. Right on top of Folkestone Central station

Popped in last night for dinner. Was a last minute thing. Service was excellent and the hosts were extremely welcoming. I had liver and bacon and my friend the homemade pie. Both fresh and wonderful! Will be back!

Okay pub, decor has much to be desired. Shows sky sports which is a bonus. Pints are around 4 quid ish.

Ein schönes altes Haus, von außen betrachtet... Die Zimmer sind jedoch sehr muffig und wirken 'old fashion'. Die dicke Staubschicht auf dem Nachttisch hatte uns vorsorglich zu Ceterizin greifen lassen... Wertgegenstände sollte man besser dem Hotelwirt in die Hand geben, denn die Schlösser der Türen sind so alt wie das Haus selbst und bieten keine wirkliche Barriere. Die Hotelbesitzer sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das dort Essen gut und solide. Ein Frühstück gibt es dort nicht, dafür eine kleine Tüte mit einer kleinen Flasche Wasser, einem in Plastik eingeschweißten Gebäck, einem Müsliriegel und ein winziges Päckchen Orangensaft, welches mit einem Schluck gefüllt ist. Am Morgen nach der zweiten Nacht war der Schrecken allerdings riesig: Bedbugs! Diese krabbelten lustig am Kopfende des Bettes herum! Wir hatten unzählige Bisse! Warum dieses Hotel unter diesen Bedingungen so extrem gute Bewertungen hat, ist mir wirklich ein Rätsel! A beautiful old house, viewed from the outside ... The rooms are very musty and 'old fashion'. The thick layer of dust on the bedside table had let us take a Ceterizine in precaution ... Valuables should better be given to the hotel owner, because the locks of the doors are as old as the house itself and offer no real barrier. The hotel owners are very friendly and helpful, the food is good and solid. There is no breakfast, but a small bag with a little bottle of water, biscuits wrapped in plastic, a cereal bar and a tiny packet of orange juice, which is filled with a sip. In the morning after the second night, the horror was huge: Bedbugs! They were crawling around the head of the bed! We had countless bites! Why this hotel under such conditions has so extremely good reviews, it's really a mystery!

I Love This Place because its Run By true Tradition Family Old School Londoner / True Southern Family Values its Truly one of the Real Deal Pubs Left, Their Roasts Dinners are to die for I Lived in India for a year I needed a Excillent Roast when i got back, Park Inn was my 1st Stop.... And if i may say I'd would like to Thank Them For their donations while i was out in India helping homeless Dogs Truly Heart felt 🌻

Great pub with a friendly and safe atmosphere. The same management have been running this establishment for quite some time and take pride in the pub; owing to this you can feel safe in an environment that does not cater for some of the unsavouries you might find elsewhere! Live bands most Saturdays which always makes the place lively and provides a feel good atmosphere.

Very friendly service. Very good food. Recommend the steak and ale pie.. Lovely.

This ‘Park Inn’ is not the good place for people who like more space. The rooms and double beds are very very very small. This is not a hotel. Also in my room there is a running water pipe continuously, seriously, why do you need a pipe in room which is continuously running. I could hear the water running through pipes all night. Couldn’t sleep well. People take time off to spent good time family friends but such a time is not a good one. Better to find an Airbnb than this so called hotel... Not recommended.

A friendly local pub that also does nice Sunday lunches. They have live music on Saturday nights. A good place to enjoy with friends but not where one would want to go with a date owing to the open goldfish bowl layout.

Partner & his Mate had stayed here whilst working away in Folkestone. They said this Hotel was OK 👍🏻 but No Parking on site. There is Parking near there though, but u need a visiters parking pass to park there. If however u arrive late at night/early hours of the morning & u cant access a visitor pass, what do u do??? Bare in mind, u r sooooo knackered by this point & exhausted from travelling & wrking all hours, over past few wks, that u need to sleep.

Superb Sunday lunch with freinds today. Real home cooked food is so hard to come by these days but the park inn really nail it. Great service, lovely open bar, friendly staff, great food. We will be back for more.

Had a great NYE here. The DJ wasn't great but not too bad. The drinks are also quite expensive. There was a large group of us so we managed to have a really good time

Friendly and inviting. Good selection of drinks, and a nice variety on their menu of food items. I regularly take wheelchair users there, as the have a portable ramp which makes accessibility very easy. They also run a fortnightly social evening for disabled people, on behalf of the ALS association.

Great pub for sports and bar team always attentive. Best run bar in folkestone. A few tweaks... The menu board REALLY needs times on it for when food is actually served. And the light bulb needs removing by the tv on the end wall, so you can see the screen properly

Dreadful visit today. Went to enjoy a drink over the football. Had to put up with a group of 3 extremely loud men swearing a lot of the time. We all get a bit excited over a goal but there's no need for that. Worse thing was that not once did any of the bar staff ask them to tone it down. Will go elsewhere in future!!!!

Friendly and welcoming. Well kept beer. Clean tables. I don't go to Folkestone much but I always look forward to meeting up with friends at this pub. Ladies have two toilets men seem to have one. It is a good place to chat as no loud music. I would recommend this pub for solo travelers too.

Standard pub, fairly local feel but nice enough to pop in for a drink as a non local. Small seating area outside. One craft IPA on tap. Not too expensive.

Prima hotel. Niet al te ver van de toegangswegen en het centrum van Folkestone. Het centrum en het strand is op loopafstand. We werken vriendelijk ontvangen. En de kamers (wij hadden voor één overnachting een 1-persoons en een 2-persoonskamer) waren prima. Zeer netjes en schoon. Ontbijt is niet mogelijk, wel stond er een tasje met een flesje water, een reep en een croissantje. Ontbijtmogelijkheden zijn in de buurt volop te vinden.

Exactly what you'd expect... Is it the ritz, absolutely not, but the price is not for the ritz. Clean room, lovely people, great banter, lovely Guinness . Ideal for a stopover if your off on the tunnel. Really enjoyed the craic over a previous review..... Unwarranted in my humble. Would I stay again, absolutely.

Person who answers the phone is very rude,didn't even finish my question and she rudely shut me down. Her attitude was like my question was suck a burden on her before she hung up on me. Had she of spoke to me with a little respect and some customer service skills me and my 9 mates would of still come a spent money. At least I know its not a warm welcome there now,dodged a bullet.

My wife and I joined a pensioners group for a lunch on a Wednesday. It was superb. Very reasonably prices, huge menu choice and pleasant staff. They were very welcoming and about 18 of us had lunch in a private room. food was hot, traditional and delicious. Every Wednesday, these pensioner lunches are on offer. We shall return soon.
