The best restaurants in Katesgrove Reading South East

Visited with work colleagues for lunch after reading the review from Edible Reading and we weren’t disappointed. Ordered the King Tut ultimate breakfast and received a platter with Egyptian Moussaka, Flava beans, falafel, baba ganoush, humus… all served with warm flat bread and Egyptian tea with mint. Delicious, served with a warm smile and pistachio baklava to finish. I’ll be back again and bringing the family :)

Dolphin atendió el velorio de mi abuelo en febrero en Lewisham, quedamos muy impresionados con él y su equipo. Vinieron temprano al lugar para instalarse. Todo sabía fresco y delicioso mi familia y todos los huéspedes estaban muy impresionados con el servicio y la comida en particular el pollo frito, pasteles de pescado, Roti y el cuco y el pescado sabía excepcional. Recomiendo encarecidamente el Catering en eventos.

Amazing fish and chips, really glad I discovered this place. The food was up there with the very best I have ever had out of the countless chip shops I have tried up and down the country. Got to be the best in Reading and probably Berkshire too. Expertly cooked to order with quality ingredients getting every aspect just right. Light, crisp batter with tender fresh cod inside with the best chips I have had in a very long time - chunky thick cut, nice golden brown colour, crisp on the outside and soft potato inside. Both the fish and the chips were well drained and not greasy. Cod, small chips and mushy peas cost £11.10. Not the cheapest but worth every penny and nice large portion sizes. The food was well packed in a cardboard box so stayed warm and didn’t go soggy at all before eating. The shop looks a bit run down on the outside and isn’t in the nicest part of town, but don’t let that put you off, it’s very clean inside and has 5/5 food hygiene rating. Friendly service and the usual menu choices. This is one of those places that looks like it hasn’t changed in decades, but with food that good there is nothing that needs changing! Highly recommended, I will definitely be back. Cannot fault them, wish it was my local!

Amazing. Service was mint. Manager is a very cool guy, takes pride in his takeaway and takes pride in his food, the chicken was amazing. I did order the chicken to be hot. I will order it mild next time because the spice levels do go up a little bit. I would definitely recommend this place

Convertirse en la peor tienda, ahorrar dinero dando menos comida y grosero. Dicho plato es pequeño por lo que menos porción de lo contrario caerá sobre una mesa ... la broma más grande para hacer engañar a los clientes

El café favorito de mi hermana en Reading, y puedo ver por qué. El propietario y el personal son maravillosos. Muy amable, cálido y amable. Buena elección de ideas muy diferentes para aperitivos. Salieron a hacer especial el cumpleaños de mi hermana. Muchas gracias por eso.

Only ordered a few times but so glad I found this place. Their nuggets are amazing! And their pizza and garlic bread is sooo cheesy and tasty!!

We popped in after work for some drinks abd nibbles. We were greeted as always by super friendly staff and the perfect place to unwind after a long day. We will be back again soon.

Fuimos a intoku para cenar con la familia, el restaurante y el ambiente es bueno y el personal es increíble, pero los precios son ridículamente altos, pagamos £ 5 por un pequeño tazón de fideos simples y £ 25 por un filete que era pequeño y no vale la pena el precio, los postres eran caros también, pero no frescos, los gofres fueron comprados en la tienda de calidad y tan seco, por ese precio esperábamos gofres recién hechos... muy decepcionante, no volveré a visitar.

We ordered a takeaway from here from deliveroo - we have tried a few Indian restaurants in Reading before, but with my other half being from Leicester he is really fussy when it comes to curry as the quality in Leicester is amazing! The food arrived very fast and piping hot - it was not greasy at all, and the flavours were lovely and rich. We will definitely be ordering from here again!

Arrived here today and the place is clean and looked professional, had a place for park my car. the food is delicious; chips are hot and crispy and the burger tastes fresh. The staff were also v friendly and welcoming, honestly if i could give a 6th i star, i would. Munchy box >

Its the best service in Reading and the fastest one. Also, employees are very friendly and helpful.

This venue is primarily a take-out, however it does has plenty of seating at the back. The tables are single tables, however, they can band together to make a much larger table to seat 8 or more people. The food itself was cooked really well, and the service was prompt. I would come here again, if ever in the area Lebanese Flavours is located halfway up London Street in East Reading There are buses to the area, .
