Rip off, ordered a while back, delivery received with missing items, called and staff rude and not helpful. They said it was my fault and they don't care, they would not correct issue, also said there was no contact info for manager, head office etc. how can it be my fault when order was placed via uber, i was charged for full order, yet items were missing. Not ordered again until today. Again missing items, spent over £13 all I received was a 1/2 chicken and drink. Other items missing, won't waste my time calling to be abused. So lesson learnt NEVER AGAIN WILL I ORDER FROM THEM - 1 STAR rating is to high but had to put one in. Rip off merchants

Their customer service is really bad. They don’t know how to talk to people. No thank you or smile on the face. It’s like giving us free food. They really need to prove the customer service and food quality.

You get what you pay for, limited menu, no kebabs or pizza, for the portions we great, freshly served, prices are better than most, staff are very polite, the eating area so clean, and there is usually a queue. A lot to chicken options, drinks available too. Delivery is an option, you via order and collect if you want to, but be mindful of the roadside parking availability.

Just after long time I decided to take 12 chicken wings at 8.00 pm on Sunday 4.As soon I ordered at the counter within seconds I received my order normally it takes 2 minutes to pack in the box. So I just left the shop so decided to taste. Very surprising chicken was so cold and there was 18 chicken wings and they gave it to me because it was canceled order of some one and it was lying jn the box for Long time .so I went jn the shop.Person is pretending and started telling his own lies story .please don't do for your customers we paying tomuch money and we want proper quality and satisfaction.later I insist them to give me new order.Very sad.

Took our money for the order and never gave us the food. When we contacted them we were rudely told it’s not their problem. Avoid and go to roosters. Food is better and you actually get your food and not robbed

5 words. Do not buy from here. On the 7th June I made an order via deliveroo which consisted of 2 meals. Both being horrible. The wings were far from edible. I don’t think I could even feed my dog the food that was showed. The wings were practically bloody. They felt soggy, uncooked and cold. Everything that you wouldn’t want to associate your food with. Stay away if you don’t want food poisoning. So dangerous absolutely inhuman.

When this takeaway opened maybe 10 years ago the food was nice as you would expect. I ordered a chicken breast in Pitta today and the chicken was hard as stone it was so old. A few weeks back someone ordered food and the strips were hard as rock so it’s obvious the food is not always fresh and I would seriously recommend to stay away as they have no standards and time to report the takeaway to the local authorities.

This is a real shame that I’m given this review went in their today for dinner and was greeted by a rude member of staff who wasn’t very welcoming at all and snatched the money out of my hand needs reminding that people like me who use this resturant alot pay his wages not impressed to the point I might not go back

I been here a few times now there food is nice normally I get mild and mango flavour chicken wings and wrap its good for a quick bite also prices are reasonable they always do combo meals which are cheap and cheapest in Reading

Always love a fried chicken wrap and some wings from here. Although prices are a little steep compared to other places but definitely a go to

The hot wings here were delightful and crispy and the quarter pounder was one of the best and when I went here last there was some kids that were very entertaining

Honestly. Out of my 3 years of staying in reading, Peri Peri chicken hut has to be my favourite takeaway. My go to is the 5 strips meal for just under £7. Can never go wrong. Succulent and crispy fried chicken strips with perfect fries and a cold drink. 10/10

The food is good and the staff are friendly. I'd recommend the lemon & herb grilled chicken, really tasty and you have many options to choose from: whole chicken, burguer, wrap, etc. I have eaten there many times, but I rather take it away as sometimes the atmosphere is not great (nothing to do with the place or staff, but some random people...).

Ordered 18 hot wings online and delivered with only 1 garlic and 1 chilli sauce. Do you expect it to be eaten by one person with one each sauce ??? wings were not good at all and I do not recommend this place for hot wings.

The Mango flavour is too spicy now. Please go back to original recipe.

I use this shop on a regular but if a box meal is £4.99 I don't seem to get the change why don't they price it @ £5.00 I know its only a penny but would you like it if kept your change

I made an order for peri peri chicken breast in pitta with 6 fried chicken wings. I have never had an issue with this place and am a regular customer. However today I am appalled by their food. Firstly i received peri peri chicken breast burger with a pitta on the side when i clearly asked for peri peri chicken breast IN pitta. Then the chips and chicken wings were stale not fresh at all. The wings were so hard even when heated, not to mention that i only got 5 wings and not 6 which i paid for. This will be the last time i order before 7pm because it won't be fresh at all.

The guy he call himself a manager he's very rude with a customer that Shame.

Gets busy on the evenings but very affordable. My favourite is the combo 1 combo 2 comes with a drink. And it's very filling.

Is this peri peri grilled chicken or a boiled chicken stew? Sauce dripping off the chicken not cooked in. Paying the difference for Nando’s defo worth it

Food is good but some sincere advise to management. Please tell staff to keep drinks in a separate bag. Putting the drink in the same bag for deliveries cause the food to get cold and the bag all soggy. You do a lot of deliveries so by doing this will reduce cold food complaints. Food is excellent though.

I bought a chicken burger and I found a piece of plastic. I mean seriously this is risk to live , the kitchen looks pathetic , I wonder why no body does inspect these kinda people providing awful cleanliness.

When I lived in Reading I would have the 12 chicken wings from here at least once a week. They are perfectly fried and I love the hot sauce which for once is actually hot! The peri peri chicken is good as well and I also tried the burger but while being abroad I found myself really craving the chicken wings. They used to be £4 now they are £5 but still a good price and more than worth it.

Ordered only to find out they have not received it after 1 hour after being charged.Called them directly about the Order instead I was told to re order which would take another 1 hr.So 2 n half hrs in total.three hrs to get my food

I use Piri piri hut a couple of times each month. Food is consistently flavoursome and filling. There prices have gone up over the last couple of years but everything has gone up in cost in general mango and lime grilled chicken is a personal favourite.

Nothing much I can say, I have visited them since 2016 and never let me down! Excellent food, same top quality good value and nice service

Hi, Had a drop off 2 miles away and was very hungry, went to google maps typed peir peri and found this Peri Peri Chicken Hut would call it the *☆Gem☆*, Single plater was 👌 perfect, had peri peri from other places but compare to others this time the food was lovely the spices were according to our taste plus had the fried wings which were all time best wings. Perfect sauces, Prefect food, perfect prep timings.

Regularly collect deliveroo and Uber deliveries from here. They are usually very quick to get orders out. I have also had there fries and peri peri fries which are amazing!!! 100% would recommend all the veggie options there. Staff are very good and always quickly acknowledge drivers and customers. Orders are usually ready except fries which are done fresh for delivery customers but they only take 1-2 minutes to prep.

Ordered three meals; took around 15 minutes to wait in store. One meal was incorrectly provisioned. As it was my first visit to this particular outlet, I found it very standard - nothing to shout, chest thump or blog about.

Food has gone downhill over the past couple months. The peri breast burger is always hard and dry. The fried chicken breading is too overpowering. It’s good price but food needs to improve.

Depends on what day you go there. Most of the time good services and food. Sometimes chicken taste not so good but it happens like once a year or so. Allways a queue of few people as very popular place. Very well priced for amount of food you are getting it. Always choose them over KFC.

The chip portions are huge, even the regular nearly filled half their paper bag. Decent pricing. Ordered once on Uber eats where the hot wings were very good and went back to order in store and the chicken wasn't so good. Although that was when they were doing their last few orders so likely the chicken wasn't as fresh.

Please think twice about ordering here, as a long time customer it pains me to say this but avoid like the plague. I have been a customer of theirs for quite a while. I have almost always used them for late night deliveries, and most of the time their food has been pretty good when it comes to standards. However, I have been hearing people talking about their staff 'not wearing protective gear such as facemasks, etc' I really do hope this is not the case, as they are opening themselves up for lawsuits if anything went awry. My most recent experience has been a very bad one. I used deliveroo to order from them about a week ago. I ordered a burger and chips with a drink. Nothing too fancy, I was just hungry. Within several hours of eating their meal, I started feeling sick and getting terrible stomach cramps. I spent the whole night taking constant trips to the loo, as well as staying awake due to the cramps. I managed to get my money back from Deliveroo and was told this was being investigated. I was told to await communication from the restaurant regarding this incident, but I never received anything. No, apology, no call, nothing. The only item I ate prior to eating their meal were some biscuits from a pack. I very much doubt I would have caught food poisoning from this. Please be careful ordering from them, their food might seem nice, but their standards sound awful if they cannot even be bothered to apologise to a customer for giving them bad food.
