The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Katesgrove Reading South East

We have been regular visitors to Chef Peking for some years and cannot recommend it highly enough. Always a warm welcome from Terrie, Eddie and the team. There always seems enough staff to cover what is a very busy restaurant. A good sign that it is so popular. Food choice is excellent, promptly served and hot. Delicious tasting selection of dishes, whether from the set menus, or ordering “a la carte”. You had better be hungry if you have the set menus. There is a lot of food! Looking forward to our next visit.

We have used regularly for the last couple of years. Tonight the crispy duck was very soggy and the hosin sauce was like water with a smell like vinegar not the thick sauce is should be. I complained and asked for a refund considering is not cheap at £12.60 for quarter duck. The refund was refused. I will not be using again. Avoid. Edit: the refund was issued by Just Eat

Had via deliveroo had a box of goodies was well nice. Decent price considering how much you got. The chips were well crispy which is great

I ordered some Chinese food, I found it was quick service, nicely cooked, the staff was friendly and efficient. There's a vegetarian option available which I found out afterwards on the menu, which I will order next time I go to work On wheels

First time ordering food from this restaurant. I decided to try Golden Rice after reading through the reviews, I was not disappointed. The food arrived in good time, everything was hot and I could not fault any part of this order. Each dish was very tasty, and cooked well, everything tasted fresh and the portion sizes were good. Based on this, my first experience of Golden Rice Restaurant, I will certainly be ordering again at some point. Well done everyone at Golden Rice Restaurant, keep up the good work and high standards. DELICIOUS!
