The best restaurants in undefined Portsmouth South East

Having been to Vietnam over the summer, we have been trying to find somewhere with authentic food and this place did not disappoint! The food was absolutely delicious and my personal favorite was the green papaya salad which instantly transported me back. We did have some issues, hence the 4*. Service was slow, with starters being sat finished in front of us for almost 15 minutes (bearing in mind there were only two other tables there and one waitress was seen sat on her phone scrolling). We waited 15 minutes for our banh mi to come out and mine was served with the bottom burnt - cue a further wait for another to be served. We did appreciate the staff apologising for the wait. I'm sure we were just unfortunate based on the amazing reviews we saw prior to booking, we'd definitely still try this place again!

Fantastic coffee, made with great care & attention! Love the vibe and how food & drinks are served. Truffles scrambled eggs are to die for and NO other coffee shop in Portsmouth gives you your brownie on a plate with added caramel sauce & berries! Top notch! 👌🏻

We booked Scotts Tap and Keller for my partner’s 50th birthday celebrations, and are so glad that we did. We had drinks in Scotts for 20 people, where we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and had great hospitality. All the staff were brilliant, and are a credit to Paul and the team. Simon had a fantastic birthday and I can’t thank you all enough for making everything run so smoothly on the day, with brilliant customer service throughout. Knowing how much we enjoy Indian cuisine, my family gifted myself and my partner a takeaway from Breenons Kitchen as a birthday surprise. Wow what a feast!!! Every single dish was absolutely full of flavour and you could tell each one was fresh. I think the dhal was my personal favourite and the tempura vegetable sand array of very fresh, homemade chutneys were my partners. Would recommend to anyone in the area and appreciates good food!

Ordered classic burgers today with buy1 get 1deal on uber eats and they were amazing!!! The sauce was delicious, buns were soft and patty was very well seasoned and juicy! its halal too!! We also tried the loaded beef fries, they were very good! It would taste even better if you added some jalapeños on top! Over all very satisfied with the food! Keep it up guys!

We are a part Mexican part English family recently returned to the U.K. My stepson is on a mission to find great, authentic Mexican food here and was excited when he discovered Fuegos Street just down the road from us in Portsmouth. When we saw they served Birria it was a done deal. We booked a table on a Saturday afternoon and were not disappointed. We ordered Taquitos, Dome Bread and Birria. Everything was just amazing to be honest. As is the case with most Mex restaurants here the food leans toward Tex Mex but the Birria came very close to the traditional, Mexican experience. Everything tasted fresh, was perfectly seasoned and had a home made vibe. Personally for me service is almost as important as the food and everyone was super nice, attentive and really passionate about what they were trying to achieve with the restaurant. With so few, decent Latin American and Mexican restaurants in the U.K. if you love the cuisine you should support Fuegos Street. It’s a gem. Read less

Great food and staff are very friendly

We were quite disappointed with our meal last night. There was not much topping on either of our pizzas. The atmosphere and decor are lovely, and I love the deli (I bought a few things), but for the price we paid, the pizzas weren't great. I have been before and had a good pizza, which is why I returned.

El Greco is a gem. The food is delicious and authentic, capturing the flavors of Greece. The owner brings years of experience, making every guest feel welcome. The service is attentive and friendly. It's rare to find such great Greek restaurant in this area, and I can’t wait to return again. Don’t miss the chance to enjoy a meal here – cozy, clean, and Greek!
