The best restaurants in Summertown Oxford South East

As the other reviewers have commented this is fantastic ice cream, the best I've had here in the UK. For other comparable ice creams I've had I would mention Fenocchio in Nice, and Messina in Sydney. But if you don't want to fly for your ice cream here it is in Oxford.

Absolutely stunning meal ! If you want authentic Spanish tapas get yourself to thirty eight all staff members were very polite and explained every dish in front of you on how it was made . Top marks to the chef 👌 try the meatballs they are outrageous!! Five star !

Had some take away food from truck in Marcham happened to serve same happened to be run by the same owners as this restaurant. It was delicious.have no pic as it was take away and finished before i even got back to my car ! If it is as good as BBQ chicken burger Must be fantastic ! OXFIRD. CHEF

We visited this place last night for the first time, just after 8pm on a very busy Saturday night. We hadn’t booked a table and went in on the off-chance, expecting them to turn us around to be honest, but the team were unbelievable, so friendly & accommodating. So very refreshing to experience service like this nowadays! The team worked hard to find a way to get us seated, rearranging things and bringing in a table from outside, setting it up for us and getting us seated in no time. The service throughout was impeccable and they were so good with my little 4yr old boy! The food was exceptionally good, the pizzas were fantastic and my partner who had bolognese said that was fantastic too! I can honestly say it was the best pizza I’ve had in a very long time! Proper Italian food with a real family feel! We felt the price was very reasonable too, so we’ll definitely be back again! Thanks again everyone & keep up the good work!

The best restaurant in Oxford, one of few we love coming back to. Every single dish we tried was excellent. All the ingredients are fresh and we love that the menu changes with the seasons. A true French experience delivered to the Oxford community!

Found this restaurant at Oxford after searching Hainanese Chicken Rice on Google. It was already half past two when arrived, so not that busy. The lady speaks Mandarin, Cantonese and English well. Hainanese chicken rice, the signature fried fish and eggs and Taiwanese pork rice are good and authentic, surprisingly delicious.

Superb - the cakes are expensive but the standard is on a par with the best in Paris. You will find most of the usual Parisian patisserie favourites and a full range of croissants and breads. Personally I'd prefer if they also did the lemon tart but without the meringue on top, but everyone has their favourites.

I’m always craving LB’s like mad… chicken shawarma and potatoes go CRAZZZYYY!! Prices are also really really good in my opinion. Live Laugh LB’s.

Buen ambiente pero hay que esperar mucho tiempo para ciertos tipos de carne y las porciones son pequeñas cuando vienen. El cordero del menú solo se ofreció una vez y como mesa de 4 , solo obtuvimos una rodaja cada uno.

Nuestra primera vez visitando su restaurante, hemos tenido la suerte de haber probado su comida antes de cuando asistió a la feria de automóviles Wantage. La comida era increíble, tan sabrosa y presentada encantadora. El personal era amable y atento. Era un pequeño restaurante encantador, sin duda recomendaría reservar. Aprovechamos el 10% de descuento si guardamos todos los teléfonos para la mesa. Lo cual pensamos que era un toque peculiar. La pobre otra mitad tuvo que conversar conmigo. 😂 Teníamos la caja reforzada y la caja de vaqueros. Muy recomendable! Esperamos volver a visitarlo. Gracias. ❤️

We can’t thank Jack & the team enough for a wonderful evening, superb service and best customer care of 43 of our friends at our Christmas meal last night. This is the third time we have had our Christmas meal at the Dew Drop with Jack & the team and we will definitely be back again. Thank you to the kitchen staff, front of house and Jack et al in management - they met every dietary need and were incredibly attentive for the whole evening. The food was tasty, well presented and catered for everyone. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We honestly hope you get recognition from management - what a super night. Thank you . Have been going regularly once a month for a while. The food is very tasty. Latterly though have been placed in conservatory with large noisy party each time we visit . The space is not well lit and have to ask for extra lighting and so disappointing that apart from sizzling dishes , food served on cold plate and barely warm .The beef in black bean and green pepper sauce had one pice of pepper . And the lamb with ginger and spring onion plenty of onion but no spring onion!

We ordered takeaway from here after having a leaflet left at our flat. The food was nothing special, but it’s reasonably priced, especially since they deliver for free after you spend not too much.
