The best restaurants in St Clement's Oxford South East

We had a great time, always great food there, not to miss if you re in Oxford!

Muy rara vez escribo críticas, pero me sentí obligado a hoy. Anoche mi esposa y yo tomamos uno de los mejores filetes que hemos tomado (y comemos mucho filete! ) No solo esto, sino también increíbles entrantes de calabacines fritos con alioli y una burrata sensacional con tomates adobados. Pero realmente deberías ir el filete en sí. Lo pedimos raro e inmaculadamente suculento y bien sazonado. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente...

For our family, eating here is like 'coming home'. The home made food, with fresh ingredients, all cooked from scratch, with great cooking happening in front of you, the emphasis in food (those bright colours of the veg in display!) and the service from the staff is hard to find anywhere! We planned a visit on a day out in Oxford and walked 20 minutes out of the centre only to find the restaurant has closed down. We checked their website, Google, Facebook and Instagram and there is no mention that they are closed although there have been updates for the Bristol venue. Atomic Burger, if this changes please respond and I will happily remove this comment but I don't want anyone else suffering the disappointment we did!

My partner and I recently decided we would order our burger from a different burger place each time we ordered takeout, to try and decide which one was best. (Taste and price) This place wins hands down! We live in a town outside of Oxford and I chips don't travel well from anywhere so this is based on burgers and shakes. I highly recommend their double cheese burger, to which I add mushrooms and nacho cheese from the list of add ons. You can also remove any of the standard salad item, because, as my dad always says-"you don't win friends with salad!" The milkshakes are also very nice and not overly expensive. Why are you still reading this and not ordering a burger???

We being an Indian vegetarian family tried this only veg restaurant in Oxford on our way back from Cotswold…we had high expectations from it but the food was not at all tasty…it felt like it’s not freshly cooked ….and we had food poisoning the very next day after eating food here which definitely proves that food was stale … I don’t recommend going to this place at all and myself won’t be returning ever again

Celebratory birthday meal, ate in not takeaway. Fantastic food, great atmosphere, we just mentioned it was daughter's birthday & they brought her a cake at the end of the meal & sang her happy birthday! The hotpot looked great, going back to try that soon. NB. it's cash only

We visited this place on the 9th, and 10th July. We had a tablec or 4, and this cafe nevers fails to deliver. It is a family run cafe with great service and delicious food. This is our go to cafe whenever we visit Oxford, great food, great service, and the ability to cater for dairy, egg, and gluten free breakfasts! Thank you

Coming from France to Oxford to help my daughter to settle , We didn’t know where to have a quick bite for Lunch . Well , This is the place ! We tried their paninis ! They are delicious !

This review might come as a shock to everyone, but out of the many Sri Lankan restaurants I've been to, this by far has been the worst. The service was really bad. Our plates came with hair, afterwhich the waiter simply took it to a corner, wiped it and brought back the same plate. We pointed out to him that there was hair on the plate so we needed another to which he replied "what do you want". Very rude. The food is nothing close to what you'd taste at Kolamba, Colombo Kitchen, Hoppers or Machan. The authentic SL taste is no where near any of the dishes. The choice of menu is very poor. Lots of classic dishes missing. Portion sizes are so small compared to the price which is a similar price to the above mentioned places. The restaurant felt very unhygienic. Very sorry but terrible first experience, will not return.
