Excellent food, specially the momos.

So glad we discovered this gem! Food was delicious and service outstanding. We will return soon!

Overall the staff were nice and felt we could get service quite quickly. As we came in there werw not a lot of people in the restaurant but they decided to sat us quite close to the door (which was open all night) and we were sat next to another table. I felt that it would have been nicer to have a bit more private space then to be put right next to another group. We got onion bhaji for the starter which was ok but the vegetables around it looked a bit dry. We got two curries with a number 21 and 28? And the waiter recommended the garlic naan and mushroom rice which the mushroom rice was not on the menu. The curries were lovely but the chicken was overcooked and very dry. The mushroom rice was lovely but wish it was on the menu. Garlic naan was quite oily and wouldn’t really recommend it. Overall it was a nice experience but sadly I dont think I will be back.

Amazing food from Chinese to Indian to Nepalese, extremely well cooked meat, perfectly seasoned. I bought the Khasi Jhol and it was 10/10 the waiter Antony was very friendly and gave us mints with the bill, the coca cola is also really nice.

This place is lovely. Food is delicious and varied, with unique flavors. Atmosphere captures that wonderful "we are proud of our heritage and this is how we distill it to you" energy that the best immigrant run restaurants have. Service was above and beyond. If this were a tipping country, out waitor would be making a killing.

This place is so good it will blow your mind

What a hidden gem! Had an incredible experience at Yeti. It was my first time trying Nepalese food and it won’t be my last. As a celiac, most of the menu was gluten free! I highly encourage you to order Khasi Jhol, a delicious lamb curry that is reminiscent of the best gravy you’ve ever had. The pistachio ice cream was a great end to the meal!

Been coming here for eat-in and takeaways for around 15 years. Remains an outstanding curry restaurant. Friendly service, excellent food, very pleasant atmosphere.

The Lekali Chicken and Timur Chicken were amazing. The naan was delicious. Indian food had been my favorite food, but Nepali food has taken its place.

Got the chicken thali and it was a bit small for my liking, hoped to try multiple curries but it was just the one plus lentils. It was pricey (22) so I expected more...I asked for more spinach and they ignored me (or maybe just didn't hear me). Great flavors though, just a little mild

What a great experience. The staff were lovely and friendly. Nice relaxed atmosphere, no rush but good service. All the food tasted fresh and was full of flavour. We had a selection of vegetarian sides and they were all delicious. One of the best meals we have had out in Oxford for ages. Our son, 9 says "I was full but I wanted more" Highly recommended.

Very delicious Lamb momo. It has the Nepali momo taste which is different in taste from Tibetan momo.

The best South Asian restaurant in Oxford, serving Indian and Nepali food. The service is super friendly and the food is always delicious. Excellent for meat eaters and vegetarians.

Food at Yeti is delicious! 🤤 We tried the Khasi Chhoyala, Sandeku Chicken and Momos for Starters and there were all so yumm! The Khasi Jhol gravy was very good as well and we had that with Garlic Naan. We've been there twice and have noticed that the lamb dishes are cooked to perfection, so try one of them for sure! We also had some basics of Rice and Dal (Rato Dal) which were good. The staff are very friendly, and are happy to recommend dishes if you need their help. All in all definitely recommend Yeti to all those who want to have authentic Nepali-Indian cuisine in Oxford.

What a lovely surprise! I can highly recommend Yeti. Superb service, delicious food, friendly atmosphere. We had a range of vegetarian dishes- veg biryani, saag paneer, dahl and garlic naan- and I don't think we left a crumb. The atmosphere was lively, but we could still comfortably hold a conversation. I dropped my bus ticket and the waiter went out of his way to help me find it. I will be back.

We had a really delicious dinner at Yeti last night. All the dishes were fresh tasting, the saag was made with fresh spinach, the most comforting dahl, great lamb with cumin - yum! It was well worth going a little way out of the city centre onto Cowley Road. Go there!

World class Nepalese cuisine in Cowley neighborhood of Oxford. We ordered Dalbot, Tandoori chicken, garlic Naan and aloo saag plus coolfi and each dish was wonderful. Just visiting Oxford otherwise would def be a regular at Yeti. Thanks also for the friendly and professional service from Anthony who was superb. Highly recommend this fine establishment. It's OK. A long menu with lots of "specials" listed that have probably been on the menu for years. Food is slightly different to a standard Indian but not hugely. Generally tired looking. We booked but didn't need to. When we arrived they didn't even ask if we had a booking. Restaurant was comfortable and quiet but no ambience. After we finished eating the bill arrived without request or enquiry as to whether we wanting anything else.

Great welcome and very tasty food. Back again and such a lovely meal. Spicy without being over-greasy and perfect service. Another visit (May 2024) and still the perfect combination of great food and a warm welcome. One of my favourite local restaurants, Yeti combines delicious food with a great welcome. The kitchen makes the food from scratch, using fresh ingredients, including authentic spices such as Himalayan pepper, resulting in some of the best momos you will find, accompanied by a tangy chutney, and main dishes unique to the restaurant as well as old favourites. Return visitors are greeted like old friends, and I feel lucky to have this restaurant round the corner.

Great service!! Food had great flavours and cooked perfectly. Enjoyed every bit of it. Served with fresh salad. Chutneys and sides were amazing as well. Felt bad leaving any of it behind. Will definitely go again and recommend others to try.

Annual visit to Oxford akways includes a meal at Yeti Very, tasty , aromatic food (peshwari naan , palak paneer, sag aloo, fish curry with tandoori sauce not hot ) Attentive service with a relaxed atmosphere.

Went there yesterday for dinner with a friend. We had some delicious beer from Nepal and some of the best food you can find in Oxford. Because I'm vegetarian, we only ordered veg dishes but the okra curry and Onion Pakora were to die for. Will for sure visit again next time I'm in town.

I love coming back here for their flavourful curries, delicious momos, paneer saag and rice. I highly recommend their tiapila johl, chicken naspati and Yeti Taka tak. Their condiments and rice are spot on and remained hot throughout. Parking might be restricted and if you’re lucky there’s free car park spaces opposite Yeti after 7pm. I ended up parking in St. Clemente car park and it’s a good walking distance after a good dinner!

Chose this restaurant for dinner as Nepalese food is quite good and quite close in taste to Indian food. Ordered the mutter paneer butter masala, which was awesome, the aloo sabzi which was ok, the noodles, which was good, the rato dal, which was good and the pilau rice which was tasty and fragrant. The veg momos were awesome. The lassi was The only thing that was strictly ok. Will definitely order from here again.

My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant quite spontaneously, but really enjoyed the food and the lovely service. Will probably visit again!

Three of us went to Yeti on a Tuesday evening. The staff were friendly and welcoming, providing an excellent service. I had pre booked a table just in case. There were a few other tables with guests, so I would imagine it could be busy at the weekend. The Nepalese menu is interesting and varied with plenty of vegetarian options. Between us, we shared a variety of dishes, including a mixed platter of momos, swadilo chicken, and chow mein - to name a few. The food was excellent, and what remained we could box ourselves, to take away. With wines and beer, the bill was £120. I'm only sorry that I didn't take a photo to share. Students can use their discount cards. There's on street parking if you are fortunate to get a space, but there's a car park behind Tesco, just down the road. If you enjoy independent restaurants with good food and pleasant staff, this is definitely the place for you.

Booked Yeti for New Year’s eve while on a trip to Oxford & it didn’t disappoint. The food is beautiful, very tasty & well cooked. We had the Momo’s for starter, & the Royal Gurkha mix main. Highly recommended. Topped off with the Gurkha beer. Don’t miss out if your in Oxford.

It was a solid 7.5/10 like a fair bit more than decent. i got a korma (to get the general standard), rice and a peshwari naan. the curry was really good actually, a little bit of spice to it which is unique and quite frankly really nice. the rice was perfect, had really good flavour. the naan however, a bit disappointing. couldve been an 8 but alas, it was a little just..not great. really took the score down :( but overall really nice! next day eatability was a solid 8/10

We really enjoyed the food. For people who cannot eat spicy food, I recommend the Nariwal Chicken, combined with the Peshawari Naan. Otherwise, just ask them for recommendations. They are very nice :)

We had a nice dayout with my family at Oxford on the way back home. We went to yeti Nepalese restaurant we enjoy our dinner it was brilliant. If you are living near by don't miss the Nepalese cousins. Fantastic dining experience and the staff's were very helpful. If Any one who has not been try neplese food at yeti you shouldn't miss it.

Went to this beautiful palace. Everything was lovely , lovely food ,lovely staff. Homemade chicken momo was the best . A bit busy for my liking but would really recommend to book it in advance , if you are planning for good food and wonderful family time out . And yeah don't forget the chicken momo 😍

They're a good team here. The food is reasonable quality and cooked well. It is the best restaurant serving food from the Indian subcontinent in the area. So the best Korma, Jalfrezi etc on the Cowley Road since the Aziz moved away

Told me call deliveroo Deliveroo re ordered the food The restaurant manager told me that they won't be delivering the food coz apparently they are not getting paid Manager was very rude Even told me not to order from deliveroo Instead order directly from them

The food here is amazing, very authentic. I ordered a chicken biryani, chicken tikka masala garlic naan and plain rice. I have to say being of Asian descent the food was amazing and very authentic. The staff were very polite and hospitable. Overall I would recommend and come here again next time. They accept card and cash and have a variety of drinks

This restaurant gets 5 stars only for the delivery, which is incredibly fast (usually under 20 minutes into the Oxford city centre), food is still hot and really good. Saag Paneer is the star dish of the restaurant - by far. Sadly, delivery food usually tastes better than in the restaurant itself for some reason, which also lacks general atmosphere, so that we usually ask ourselves afterwards why we did not stick with getting the food delivered. Everyone is really friendly though.
