The best restaurants in Rose Hill and Iffley Oxford South East

We have ordered a buffet for our Christmas party for Open Stage Arts two years in a row now. Delicious food, presented well, and at a reasonable price. We will using the catering services again. Cakes at the cafe are lovely too.

Best polish food in the area, great service, it is our 5th time and not to be missed when passing from Oxford.

Vine aquí en un día laborable para un almuerzo de negocios, y aunque claramente están experimentando algunas reformas, no nos impresionó especialmente la comida: he estado viniendo aquí por más de 35 años y he visto los altibajos de ¡este lugar! Pedí el bocadillo de pescado que venía con patatas fritas y ensalada. Para su crédito, ofrecieron pan marrón o blanco, pero las alitas de pescado utilizadas como relleno deben haber sido las más baratas disponibles y la ensalada era pobre. . . solo algunas hojas verdes sin imaginación ni pensamiento. Para ser justos, mis colegas corderos de Cachemira rogan josh estaban bien, pero podrían haber sido presentados de manera más imaginativa. Luego, al pagar la factura, no solo no tomaron Amex, sino que tuve que hacer transacciones por separado para la comida y las bebidas. El personal era bueno, pero creo que la oferta de alimentos necesita mejorar más temprano que tarde.

Very disappointing meal tonight. We usually get a takeaway twice a month. And it normally lovely. Certain meals were very taste less tonight. And they have got very expensive. Even though the food prices have gone down in the supermarket. So why has the prices gone up. Probably won't use again. Hopefully I'll get a reply.

Last year, I wrote a 5 star review. Excellent food, service, etc. So taking all of this in mind, I booked a table for Saturday night, for a celebratory meal on our anniversary. This I had booked a few days beforehand, by phone & there was no problem. When we arrived, we noticed how busy the pub was. It was absolutely packed, very noisy, loud music & standing room only. This did not concern us, people having a great time on a Saturday night, why not? We made our way into the restaurant, only to find out that there was a private party in there & no table for us. The waiter asked us to follow him & he would get us our table. This table was back in the (bursting at the seams) bar area, to some filthy table in the middle. When we disputed that this was not what we booked, we were told it would be just the same - obviously not! We left after saying how badly let down we were & as it was impossible to find somewhere more suitable at 8pm on a Saturday night, we went home. I did email the following day, asking for an explanation or at least an apology, but have not received any reply. If we were just told in the first place, that a table would not been available on our chosen night, we would have booked another night. There was a reason why my original review was top of your reviews list for a year & had many viewings. Sadly, following our last visit, I have now removed it & we will not return or recommend to others in future.

Travelled up from South Wales to visit family. Booked here for lunch and we weren't disappointed. Lovely service, impeccably clean & lovely food. Thakyou for a lovely experience. Would definitely recommend this pub.

we ordered some amazing Indian food and it was so good!! We ordered the food and it arrived very quickly and it was very hot! The naan, different sorts of rices and saag paneer was amazing! I can recommend the restaurant 100%!

Absolutely love the food this place does, I get stuff here every time I come back to Oxford.

Just went here ordered a kebab payed for it , had my back turned when they was doing kebab when I turned around the three of them all smirking at each other . So I put it straight in the bin in the shop. Will never go here again

Now called salt and vinegar on rose hill in oxford... Absolutley disgusting. Do not get a doner kebab from this place, god knows what it is.. Scraped it off the spit all good, then took my freshly cut meat to the back and come out with some old looming meat and put it on the burger grill. Took 20 minutes to grill my kebab meat. It was like rubber on 1 side.. the microwave donners from tesco are better trust me.. i even asked the bloke what he was doing and he didnt understand. Asked for my meat, salad and sauce to be seperate.. he came to me with my chilli and garlic in the same small pot lol. My mum had a chicken and mushroom pie and chips.. Well for a standard chip shop dish. Wow Microwaved £4.50 pie and half cooked chips.... place is an absolute OVERPRICED joke worst chippy in oxford AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID

El servicio fue lento y los empleados parecían confundidos y no tenían idea de lo que estaban haciendo.La proporción de pan a lechuga era ridícula ya que había obtenido 6 raciones de lechuga en un sub de pie.No escuchaban a sus clientes y parecían decidirse por los clientes en lugar de cumplir con lo que el cliente había dicho.Un lugar terrible para comer, no lo recomendaría.
