Polish Kitchen Oxford in Oxford

We booked a table on a Tuesday before going to The Mini Plant, for a tour, which is about 5 minutes away. So glad we did, lovely friendly waitress, nice decor clean and very tasty food, when we got there, some tables already taken with Polish men having their lunch. Nice menu, with a good amount of choice, written in both Polish and English, explaining what you were ordering. I ordered borscht which came with a dumpling on the side, hot and very tasty, hubby ordered Polish sausage, there were 2 huge fat tasty sausages served on fried onions and a hunk of bread, he was almost full just from his starter. For mains we both had the shnitzel, which came with mashed potato and we choice fried beetroot, which was delicious. I was determined to eat it all only left some potato, but we had to take most of my husband's home, which he had for dinner We were far to full for dessert, Free parking for up to 3 hours in the lay by, and easy to find by sat nav, we are going to be staying in Oxford again in September and will return

Wow. I have been here before a couple of times and it always been great. Since i was there the restuarant has been taken over. The difference is clear to see. A full refurb and it looks much better. Now the best but the food. I ordered perogi and golonka. Golonka is basicaly a huge piece of roasted pork knuckle with mash and cabbage, it is a lot to eat and it is lovely. Perogi is a dumpling filled with meat just as lovely. The server is a lovely lady pleased to help and explain. Now if you are English and a bit shy to try Polish food, do yourself a favour and give it a go you will just love it and its great value too. Five stars all the way

Great place for Polish cuisine in Oxford. Delicious food, friendly service, prices adequate to the quality. It's worth making a reservation on Sunday because not everyone can be lucky enough to find a table for two during the afternoon peak. I recommend it wholeheartedly and I look forward to returning to this tastefully designed place to enjoy our Polish dishes, which taste delicious there. I recommend!!

What a lovely place! Visited today for the first time and found both the food and the service outstanding. Highly recommend, authentic Polish, homemade food made with love. Garlic soup was truly delicious. Edit: visited today, 4 months later, and nothing changed. Food was still delicious, friendly staff and the decor in the beer garden is absolutely beautiful. The restaurant is amazing, the portions are so big that it's hard to eat them, the service is very nice, it's our first time here, but we'll probably come back soon

I just ordered some takeaway food and it was so tasty! My Eastern European roots were really craving some “food from home” and this restaurant did not disappoint!! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh and the portion size was fabulous! A shame the prices these days are so high that this type of meal will be reserved as a “treat” only. However, I must also visit in person now! Thank you ❤️

The driest, overcooked and tasteless chicken Kiev ever. After 30 mins wait for a chicken Kiev's we received a rather underwhelming meal. What was good was the mash and the salad on the side. I appreciate all cousins, but this was awful.

We were staying in the area and decided to visit this restaurant as my partner is Polish. The food was up there with some of the best Polish food we have ever had! We had the garlic soup, fried cheese, pierogi and soy cutlet. We were so pleasantly surprised with the excellent vegetarian options! The service was friendly and up beat - the restaurant was clean and comfortable. Can’t recommend highly enough! Definitely one to visit if you are in the area. Thank you to everyone that looked after us!

Delicious, authentic Polish food. Great veggie options (soya kotlety!) and amazing drinks selection. We also got nalesniki serem to takeaway and they were delicious! Super friendly and upbeat staff, very clean and reasonably priced - can’t recommend enough!

Had a lovely lunch at the cafe today. Very tasty salmon on potato cakes woth sour cream. It took a while to arrive as it was freshly prepared. Delicious mixed fruit juice. Very reasonably priced. I will definitely eat there again.

The restaurant has a wonderful cuisine and it is really Polish cuisine. All very tasty and freshly cooked. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is nicely decorated. The only point where you would have to change is the restaurant pleasant to air-condition. 19.5 degrees is really too cold to dine and linger. Better to pay 2 pounds more for food than to freeze.

Ms. Oliwia was an incredibly kind and welcoming person, and the food was so exceptional that we will undoubtedly return, despite the distance. It was a wonderful journey back to our roots, and we truly appreciate everything. Thank you!

One of our fave food place in Oxford, we discovered this restaurant 2 years ago, the food was truly homemade and we had very pleasant experience overall. Love the newly renovated restaurant, It’s small but very intimate, food portions were big as well. My husband loved their coffee vodka and I liked the Kompote. I tried their Pierogi last time and this time I tried their Hungarian goulash with crispy pancake and their Grilled chicken

The food was not seasoned, some of the dishes on the menu were not available on Saturday, the salads were old, there was very little space, the skin of the pork shank was burnt, horseradish and mustard were served in one bowl, the prices were too high for this standard. We will never go back there again.

I was there today and I was disappointed. Burnt pork shank, old and unseasoned pig iron. Tragedy. I don't recommend it.

Fantastic food and wonderful atmosphere! The soup was creamy, aromatic and perfectly seasoned - a perfect combination of flavors that delighted the palate. Sour rye soup in bread is an absolute hit - traditional, full of flavor, and beautifully served! For dessert, pancakes - delicate, perfectly fried, with delicious fruit and creamy sauce. Every bite was pure pleasure! In addition, friendly service and a great atmosphere in the restaurant - definitely a place worth coming back to. I recommend it to everyone!

Lashings of great food, lovely staff, great prices. A favourite for the kids. Lots of imaginative vegetarian options, soups, dumplings, salads, pickles plus big meaty tasty dishes, huge puddings and fun drinks. We were 8 people aged 8-66, mix of vegetarians and meateaters and we all loved it.

3 of us visited this restaurant today, for the first time ever. Food was excellent and very reasonably-priced for such big portions. The staff were very friendly and there wasn't much of a wait between when we ordered and when the food arrived. I can definitely recommend all the dishes that we tried, which were the Rosol, Garlic Soup, and Hungarian Pancake (Placek po Wegiersku). We will definitely be back!

I recommend delicious Polish food to everyone. The Hungarian cake melts in your mouth. And chicken de volaille complements everything our palate dreams of. Plus the best aromatic teas: a fruity paradise for a cloudy day. Fantastic for cold days, and no one will forget this taste. I highly recommend it.

We have visited this restaurant on a few occasions now and it has never disappointed. The food is traditional ,absolutely delicious and most importantly freshly prepared. The kids love rosół and pierogi ruskie the most, I however always go for the meal of the day which is great value for money and reminds me of my childhood spent in Poland. Their kompot/compote is to die for too. I’m not a big fan of eating out but this place is consistently great and always delivers fab service from the lovely lady running the restaurant to the chef behind the scenes.

What an incredible place. I have a polish mother-in-law and am familiar with these dishes, but the restaurant took it to the max! Super friendly service, delicious food, very delightful atmosphere. Everything was top notch! Definitely worth the visit whether you have ever eaten a polish food before or not! You will love it!

We visited Polish Kitchen as a group of motorcyclists and had a fantastic experience! The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. There’s plenty of space to park up to 6 bikes on the pavement right in front, which made it super convenient for us. Highly recommend for great food and a biker-friendly stop!

We had reservation for Sunday lunch meal, fairly busy but still food was served really quickly. Nice music in background and amazing service. We will come back there for sure!!!
