Great little place with a lot of Central-European character. Staff is incredibly friendly and dedicated to the service they provide. The food is delicious - honest and hearty, absolutely in accordance with Polish culinary culture. If you get too familiar with the menu after a while, specials of the day will always keep things fresh and exciting. I highly recommend the place for anyone looking for a great experience with Polish cuisine!!

Amazing food, very generous portions and lovely staff! It was a great find, I’m always a bit weary of Polish restaurants abroad, but this one did not disappoint! The food was delicious and fresh, tasted just like my mum’s! The ladies serving us were very friendly and attentive, overall a great experience!

Fantabulous experience! Food was super, super, super tasty. Service was beyond fantastic. The place is certainly loved by Polish! Pierogi and Potato pancakes with pork goulash were the winners! (Although the schnitzel was also great!). Definitely one of Oxford’s hidden gems.

A place you want to come back to because you feel at home. Very good dishes with taste and appearance. I recommend agreeing to the dish of the day, the ladies can always pleasantly surprise you. Pancakes with cottage cheese are amazing. The service was very nice, smiling and polite. This time I was alone, but thanks to the nice waitress I felt like I was with a friend. I highly recommend it

Simple but so genuinely Polish. Many ‘strange’ dishes from which to choose and if one dives in with fingers crossed one is always delighted with the result. Large portions and perfectly affordable for many. Good fortune, you tough Polish allies!!!

Atmosphere was really laid back and the staff were beyond attentive and polite let alone friendly. Food was absolutely delicious. Prices were excellent for the quality and deliciousness. Can't recommend anymore highly, we will definitely be doing a 90+ mile journey just to eat there again.

I really wanted to try this place and who better to take than my lovely Polish friend who had been before and recommended the food. The food is home cooked and delicious. The portions are hearty. I will be going again for sure! I am vegetarian and would highly recommend the potato pancakes with wild mushroom sauce. Yum! I couldn't breath afterwards for being so full.

FANTASTIC Polish restaurant. We ordered the Goulash with the potato pancake and Bigos - the Hunter’s stew. So. Good. It’s the kind of food that you want to eat when you want a home cooked meal bit you are far from home.

Friendly service, very relaxed atmosphere. The food is really tasty. We had the sharing platter which was very good but a bit heavy. There was potato cakes, mash and chips! The pork was excellent and fell off the bone. The pierogi were a bit stodgy for me but all in all it was a very good value meal. I will go back to try the bigos.

Sweet little place....lovely staff!!! Good food but needs more seasoning...pierogi delicious -needing more salt... Vegetable salads with shnitzel - just grated carrot could've been mixed with traditional flavours of apple and sour cream and better pickled cabbage:)) But even with that-we will still be back:)

I expected something more from this place, the broth was not seasoned enough, the broth was watered down and had little flavor. The żurek was watery, without white sausage, but there was ordinary sausage, and there were no potatoes in the żurek. The pork chop was good but nothing outstanding, the breading was peeling off the cutlet, the mash potatoes were slightly overcooked, the salads were dry and the vegetables were not well seasoned and dry. I ordered a fudge cake, I think it was store-bought, warm, I expected something from the fridge in such hot weather. I recommend the potato pancake with goulash, the meat was perfect, the sauce was also excellent, slightly spicy. Compote 10/10 Service: The service was very nice, helpful and patient. They have small plastic plates for children, which made portioning dishes easier. Climate: The music was a bit too loud and it was a bit disturbing when talking to friends. Prices: Very decent.

My friend and I visited this restaurant on Wednesday night. It was our first time trying Polish food. The restaurant looks ordinary but the interior is fresh and clean. We ordered a roast pork knuckle with cabbage and a special meal (I'm not sure if the special meal is different every day, our meal included a roast pork neck with fried potatoes and vegetables, a tomato pasta soup, and a juice). The portions and taste were good, and the waitress asked about the dishes several times. There was no service charge added to the bill, and there was no charge for take-away boxes. It was a very good dining experience. Will visit again if I have the chance.

The food has a spectacular flavor, one of those places that is worth visiting again and again.

Even though there were 23 of us, the service was very nice. From the very beginning, Mrs. Iza went out of her way to find us a date and time that would suit such a large group of people. The owner of the place wrote a very nice message for our celebrants. The cook did a 5+ job, as did the rest of the staff. There is an amazing atmosphere there, you can feel that they do what they do with passion and dedication. Even though we are a bit away from them, we go back there during important events of ours or our friends 😍 because we have a 1000% guarantee that it will be great, and it is always better than we expect 😊🍹😎😍 Thank you once again. Found this place on maps while looking for dinner near the Mercure Hotel in Iffley. Love the decor, service is friendly, and the food is so amazing we came back the following night. Highly recommended for a dose of Polish comfort food! Make sure you come hungry as the portions are huge!

Authentic Polish food. Very good and fresh.

A nice family business but a little disappointed with the food. As a vegetarian I had the dumplings which came just as a plate of 8 pale looking, quite bland dumplings. These would have been hugely improved by some salad or vegetables on the side. I thought it was quite expensive for what I received. They had run out of my first choice meal (but only let us know this 15 minutes after ordering), which was a shame but understandable given it is a small business. The service was amazing and the staff seemed friendly and helpful. A happy interior too although perhaps the music was a little too loud.

One of my favorite places to eat. The staff is outstanding - super nice, accomodating and helpful. The food is just pure goodness - you have to try their salads that come with a Schnitzel. The interior is made with love and attention to detail - have a look at their feedback and the little traditional items in the kitchen dresser.

My favourite Polish restaurant in Oxford. Very tasty and freshly made food to eat in and to take away. They have amazing deals for meal of the day (soup, main and drink) Definitely recommend giving them a visit if you are in the area!

We come here whenever we are near Oxford, as the food reminds my girlfriend of her mom's cooking. Genuine homemade polish food and a great section. Lookout for their meal of the day, great value for a really wholesome meal.

It was my first time at the Polish Kitchen and I visited with a few friends that have been before. I must say that the quality of food is 1st class and in particular, the chichen Kiev which has to be the best I have ever tasted. They offer a comprehensive menu to suit all tastes, at reasonable prices and great friendly service. Well done Polish Kitchen

Nice place to eat and not expensive

Best shop on the Rose Hill parade! Went here with my parents and was impressed by the food and the beers. Don't recall precisely what I had, but am a vegetarian and they catered well for me so 🤷 My dad also had four double shots of Polish vodka and they had a good range of beers. Friendly and good food - a great experience. 😃

Me and my friend both easter Europeans , and food is super delicious and feela like been cooked back at home biggest compliments to 👨‍🍳 also it was busy the day we visited there was people who came after us but got their orders taken before us also they recueved food faster than our order been taken other than that everything was amazing and even that said we would still come back because food is amazing its iffley road gem for sure.

I have ordered here over 10 times. However the last time the driver looked at me angrily and said ‘you will be charged more next time’. They also forgot my compote and do not refund me. I tried to resolve this with the restaurant but they said I would have to pay £80 plus £15 delivery next time because I’m 1 mile outside the radius. They ignored my attempt to resolve the situation. Not worth dealing with low integrity restaurants.

We just came randomly while camping in Oxfordshire. I would call it Polish Grandma's Kitchen. no nonsense meals , tasty , healthy, old fashion , just spot on real Polish village food. Even a starter was big enough for most of the people for lunch, but main meals … better you come really hungry otherwise you will need to share your meal not to waste. I would give 6 out of 5

Food was over cooked and the golonka barely had any meat 80% bone and 20% meat

Sauce on the mash potatoes and beetroot salad made it 10/10. Soup 10/10 My friend tried chicken sandwich on Polish sourdough bread. He said it was better than any burger he’ve had. Great presentation too. Staff always nice and attentive. Great, friendly ambience. The best place to relax and eat good food

I been to order takeaway food I I didn’t check if my order was correct when I arrived home my order was wrong and they charged me 15£ pounds instead price on menu.I make a phone call to restaurant and what they said “ oh so sorry “ next time you will get free dessert, I’m so disappointed
