Me and my friend both easter Europeans , and food is super delicious and feela like been cooked back at home biggest compliments to 👨‍🍳 also it was busy the day we visited there was people who came after us but got their orders taken before us also they recueved food faster than our order been taken other than that everything was amazing and even that said we would still come back because food is amazing its iffley road gem for sure.

We went oxford for a short holiday and found this restaurant. It was over our expectations everything was good, really tasty food and friendly services.

I have ordered here over 10 times. However the last time the driver looked at me angrily and said ‘you will be charged more next time’. They also forgot my compote and do not refund me. I tried to resolve this with the restaurant but they said I would have to pay £80 plus £15 delivery next time because I’m 1 mile outside the radius. They ignored my attempt to resolve the situation. Not worth dealing with low integrity restaurants.

We just came randomly while camping in Oxfordshire. I would call it Polish Grandma's Kitchen. no nonsense meals , tasty , healthy, old fashion , just spot on real Polish village food. Even a starter was big enough for most of the people for lunch, but main meals … better you come really hungry otherwise you will need to share your meal not to waste. I would give 6 out of 5

I would recommend with all my heart! I’ve recently tried their tomato soup with noodles, followed by slow cooked pork. Meat was perfectly cooked, tender and full of flavour. Sauce on the mash potatoes and beetroot salad made it 10/10. Soup 10/10 My friend tried chicken sandwich on Polish sourdough bread. He said it was better than any burger he’ve had. Great presentation too. Staff always nice and attentive. Great, friendly ambience. The best place to relax and eat good food

I highly recommend Goloneczka, if anyone likes... I don't think you will find a better one in the area. I recommend it to everyone, I give it 5 stars overall.👌

I been to order takeaway food I I didn’t check if my order was correct when I arrived home my order was wrong and they charged me 15£ pounds instead price on menu.I make a phone call to restaurant and what they said “ oh so sorry “ next time you will get free dessert, I’m so disappointed

Great food. I have many bad experiences with Polish pubs in London - and this was a really positive surprise. The food was made from good and fresh products, the portions were impossible to overeat (the rest, although I liked it so much, I couldn't eat it) was packed for home. The service was amazing. Visited there recently with my partner and left extremely happy with a full stomach. The prices reflect the size of the portions, friendly staff and good atmosphere.

Loved the food and the choice of dishes. We shared a starter, kielbasa with onions, mustard and bread, simple but very tasty. Our mains were the Hungarian pancake and bigos both excellent and very generous portions. Followed by a shared slice of cheesecake and coffees. We drank orange juice and compote with meal The bill came to £48. Definitely going again as what we had was delicious and there were plenty of other dishes we want to try

We were at the restaurant today and I can say that the food there is very good and the portions are large, the dish of the day was simply delicious, the meat is soft and well seasoned, the salads are fresh, the compote is really great, the broth is also delicious, a few years ago going there was very tasteless , you can see changes for the better! We will definitely be there again and I will recommend it to everyone

Haven't had Polish food in years so I popped in with my girlfriend and her parents and the food was absolutely outstanding, I barely leave reviews but that was definitely worthy of it. By the time I thought to take a photo of my food I'd already eaten it all, if I'm ever in the area again I'll definitely be back. The zurek was very tasty

We loved everything about Polish Kitchen - incredibly delicious, generous dishes, brilliant beer, really welcoming lovely staff and great service. On top of that it's outstandingly good value and has a great atmosphere - a true gem and unique place to eat. Nothing else like it in Oxford - don't bother trekking into town for the overpriced mediocre restaurants you'll find there! This is a little haven and we had a really memorable happy evening. Love it here. The pierogi Ruski (dumplings filled with potato and cheese) are my favourites (not pictured) but have never had a bad meal. To avoid disappointment- some items in the photo were from leftovers, Yorkshire puddings and sweet corn were not provided by Polish Kitchen!

Home cooked polish food. Not too salty which is rare. The Zurek is next level good and made properly with horseradish. The pickled herring perfectly done. Definitely come if you like Polish food. If you haven't had Polish cuisine before I don't think you'll beat this in the uk - A Polak

I don't know where to start to make this review clear and detailed. I heard about this place sometime ago and I was wondering is good pick or not. Finally took the risk and I would say it's a lot to improve. Offcourse I fully understand it's so budget food and it can be alarming they may sell a lot or buy ready food and just reheat it. Dumplings where definetly not home made (£11.00 - in Sainsbury's packet costs £1.65). I spotted old lady who walked out from the kitchen with full square bucket of dumplings and it was my main character concern they sell more ready food like that. Be honest I'm kind of lazy and I just making dumplings at home for Christmas time. Soup was fine but not the best. My region make it bit different - more spicy and with white vinegar. Sausage and egg where cold. Cabbage was similar story. I like more tomato sauce and this kind of sweet/sour taste. I can fully understand there is some balance between price and quality. And food is plain as maybe someone will don't like this or that but if you wanna call it Polish Cousin you should have optional thing in menu for example Classic dish or plain dish. So person who may don't know Polish food can experience some food then decide he really want something more traditional or not. I think I'll try it again but I don't know about sharing the experience with anyone who I know. Business like that should be more transparent. Pretty waiter and lovely look of the restaurant is pros. But transparency, prices, food taste is questioning cons. Otherwise I can just tell I even can do those dishes better but definetly not for same money. I wish to know more opinions of more frequent visitors or maybe the owner? Thanks

I highly recommend this restaurant if you fancy authentic Polish food. Starters, soups and main courses are perfectly prepared and served. Real, tasty Polish food prepared with heart! Oh my lord, this place was good but now it's next level. So fresh, healthy and served quite classy surroundings. My meat dish was so tender that is was falling apart. Next time, pierogi as other people commented how brilliant the pierogi were...
