Branos in Oxford

Absolutely love the food this place does, I get stuff here every time I come back to Oxford.

Ordered the other night waited 1hr & 30mins for our food called several times and received a load of abuse down the phone! When it finally arrived it was stone cold and 3 kids meals were missing from the order and one meal was completely crushed as if it had been driven over….. called again and got told it was cooked and bagged up! When I mentioned the burger was crushed flat I was told a burger should be flat what do I want! 3 starving kids £50 down the pan won’t be ordering here ever again rude and obnoxious no offer of a replacement meal or settlement for the bad service

Chicken strips were tender and tasty, chips were hot and crispy, donner wrap was deep filled and delicious. Only draw back was the chicken on the bone seemed to have been sat in the hot cupboard for a bit too long as it was very dry. Overall impressed and will order again

Liars I live at 4 and they delivered to number 2 my number is correct and I have ring doorbell which takes pictures and videos and no one come here now the food cold

I had an email from Just Eat saying that your restaurant was doing the cheeky Tuesday deal with 20% of your order. When I had a look at your restaurant on just eat the offer was there. When I placed my order at 5.00pm offer had been taken off. I still placed our order. The delivery and food was excellent. It’s the first time using you. I am very disappointed that you took this discount off. I think you did this due to England playing football that evening. Look forward to hearing from you soon

Always get a chicken or falafel wrap and it's usually stuffed full. Good value. Staff have only ever been friendly. Seems like it's a better service if you buy in person rather than rely on getting takeaway. The breaded chicken is also very tasty

Rude lady works there and food was dry

Arrived at 7.44pm. The chicken available was dry. I asked if they were making more soon and they said at 11pm in order to give me the dry chicken. I declined.

I am editing my previous review and reducing stars to 1. In the previous months, the quality served by this take away has regrettably declined. The quantity of chicken has gone down in general but I had ignored that considering the general rise in prices. They have now revised their pricing but not the quantity of chicken. Also today's chicken was not at all tender, it was very undercooked, rubbery and hard to chew despite some of it being burnt. I had to throw almost the entire meal away. I regret writing this review but this was my experience today. Hopefully the business will take cognizance and take steps to restore their quality to previous high standard. It will however be some time before I will be willing to give it a try again.

worst food I have ever had, seemed like the burgers were from the night before and then microwaved along with the chips. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE, after having this disgusting food 2 of my colleagues have had the runs with stomach pains.

If you are a fan of lamb donna kebabs then this is the best place in oxford. I have tried so many lamb donna's in oxford and these guys are the only ones who seem to get it right. Very much recommend.

Bad quality wings, overfried, no crunch, super greasy and chewy... Threw it in the bin 😐

Got the food delivered and the chicken had red raw veins inside the chicken,I hope I don't have food poisoning now as I had some before I realised,will not be going there again,chicken was so undercooked

Orderd me and my kids food, beans were ice cold, I orderd 2 normal chicken burgers with no salad and 1 was spicy with salad and some nasty sauce, also they forgot my child’s chicken nuggets I been waiting half hour now still nothing, now have 1 child sat here not happy

Staff was very attentive and service was fairly quick ,premised looked clean & tidy .Would have had an extra star but don't use it as often as I use to because parking has become a problem

Just to let you know, when our meal arrived 1hour and 20mins after ordering, the chips where hot but the chicken kebabs was cold, the chicken in the kebabs where we'll overcooked or even reheated chicken and was cold, we have had meals before from you where I have picked up and they were very good but on this occasion they were very poor. Terrible customer service, why can't the lady write down the order I don't know... Mixed up my order even though I did repeat myself. I had to repeat my order numerous times. Rolled her eyes, found the attitude was awfully rude. Salad was not fresh at all. No, I will not be going back there.

Absolutely god smacked ! Furious I'm I'm honest with you! Completely taking advantage of what's going on in the world right now and charging extortionate prices! Wanted a tray on donor meat ! Plain no salad no pitta NOTHING and charged my partner £8 Day light robbery ! Top it off tasted like bloody cardboard. Never ever am I coming back to this place and do not recommend what so ever. Sort it out. Embarrassment. Shame on you.

Worst food ever, they swear at the clients when we complained about the food being cold and raw, oineeded to go to the restaurant to get a full refund and still got resistance and shouted at by the manager. Disgusting!

Not even my dog ate the food, was simply disgusting, don't go there! Disappointed.

Worst kebab in a long time, staff have not got a clue, microwave rice which was over cooked, hardly any kebab meat, never again...

Always order from here if we want a kebab or burger always fast, hot and fresh. We live in bbl but prefer here to jakes. Friendly staff aswell

Disgusting Food and RACIST!! I was queuing for 10 minutes, but instead a rude racist fat woman asks the person behind me who was Eastern European on what they would like to order. Guess WHITE people are not welcome there.

One of the worse fast food place in oxford! Deserves no stars. Food Quality is awful and Rude staff. If you order for collection they charge you extra and even then when you get there to collect your food they haven't even prepared it. Your better off going elsewhere if you don't want to get ripped off and get food poisoning.

Waited over 1.5 hours for stuff I can not describe as food, they then also charge a extra £1 delivery even though late and £0.50 service charge , avoid at all cost!

Usually always order here from Just eat. Usually fantastic! Although it came late and I called them they said it was on its way. Half an hour later.... I called again and asked where it was. They then put the phone down. And then haven’t answered. Rude.

Was my fave chicken and chips place we would order from just eat. Because you can order as as much or as little as you like no delivery charge. Three weeks ago they started charging minimum £10 spend. They are now charging £1 delivery plus another surprise on your bill 50p SERVICE DANM CHARGE. THIS IS NONSENSE THE MOST EXPENSIVE CHICKEN AND CHIPS THAT ARE HARD AND DRY. YOU GUYS NEED TO GO BACK DOWN TO THE NORMAL CHARGES OR YOU WILL LOOSE MORE CUSTOMERS YOU ARE GETTING WAY AHEAD OF YOURSELVES. Silly people you have lost 6 customers my whole family bought from there.

Good place to get a quick hot snack

Wouldn't even give one star but had to, food took 90mins to arrive cold!! Rang to complain and was told to call back and speak to the manager, rang back and was told he still wasn't there, so rang back the next day and I actually got to talk to the manager only for him to tell me to fk off and I'm barred from HIS shop, five stars given for being a dick!!!

This place has gone completely down hill from when they first opened. Now the food is too expensive and the stuff there are so rude and not know what customer service is - especially some woman who works there, the rudest of them all - she spends more time chatting on the phone then acknowledging the customers and then when challenged she gives attitude. This place seriously needs to close down now or get a new owner and staff.

Place has got 1 rating for hygiene on food standard. I'm not surprised as I have found hair in the chips. Staying away from this place.

Snow day 10/12/2017 - went to collect the order as they said the delivery would take up to 2 hours cause of the snow. Food was disgusting. Chips were old and crusty and also there was a hair stuck in the chicken. Won't be going back there again. Reported to the food standard agency.

It was 30 minutes late, cold and I had a hair in my kebab!! Disgusted. Won't be ordering from here again.

Fried chicken had to much coating and oil in it. Food was dull, no spices at all(tastles). Place is far from calling it clean, very hot inside. Staff in dirty uniform, sweating. When asked for wet wipes been told they don't do them. Cmon serving fried chicken and not supplying wet wipes! had to go to bookies next to wash hands. Overall recommended you to spend your hard earned cash elsewhere to avoid disappointment.

I'm a big fan of this fast food joint. Been going for years. I particularly like the spicy wings here. Get a bunch with garlic sauce all over! I've tried a bunch of stuff of the menu and everything's been decent. I haven't stayed to eat in because I think my clothes would smell of oily fast food. If you need a quick bite and you're nearby check Branos out.

has a one star food hygiene rating from oxford city council, always good to check when it's not displayed thank god i did...probably would have been puking my guts up by now!!

I have been going here for years, and will keep going..

this is the 2nd time they mess up my order i order a spicy wrap and they gimme a burger instead and then i order 3 coke cans and they give me only 2 BUT THE FOOD IS NICE so this is getting a 3 star

I am disgusted with the service a woman provided me after I ordered two chicken burger meal, 6 chicken strips, a chicken wrap meal, 10 chicken wings. After i ordered and I was going to pay she looked at me up and down, checked my money three times. When other customers went to pay she didn't check their money. She then went on to tell me that I'm not allowed to sit down and at this point I inferred it was because i am black... I've been there before and I've had a pleasant conversation with a male worker. But this is one of the worst customer service I have ever came across.

Their kebabs are really tasty. Made me go back for a second time 2 days in a row!

If you live in rose hill you have to try branos their portions are worth the price
