The best restaurants in Headington Oxford South East

Our first visit to the lovely welcoming village pub with a fabulous outdoor area. We were visiting as a family with our dog in tow. The service and food was definitely 10/10. They also made sure our dog had water and came out with treats for her. The food was delicious with huge portion sizes and the staff were so friendly and efficient. We are so pleased we found this wonderful pub and will definitely be back. Thank you.

Unfortunately both pizze and ice-cream are now utterly disgusting. Pizze taste like paper with a cheap topping and ice-cream cheap with a triple dose of sugar.

The order time continuously increased for the delivery time to then be late yet it is not even a 10 minute drive from where I was staying. Some of my order was missing and the one thing that was there was incorect!

Food was superb - possibly the best dhansak I've had in the UK.

I have been coming to this restaurant a few times in the past years, food is consistently excellent, as well as service and ambiance. Usually is not too busy or loud restaurant, and I enjoy the 80s/90s music style that is usually being played. I love their burger, rosemary chips and mocktails. They always served me with a smile and interest. Overall 5* from me.

Delicious food and excellent service. We had a very tasty napoletana past and a very fragrant risotto. Lovely atmosphere. A hidden gem.

You can’t beat the Italian baked goods at Il Botanico, the cannoli’s are the best I’ve had! The coffee, focaccia, gelato and hot chocolate are all also amazing! It’s a bit of a hidden gem in Headington.

Quizás había demasiado para terminar, ya que tenía un entrante y un plato principal, pero el pollo con mantequilla estaba tan sabroso y el peshawari nan era precioso. Food was delicious and they adjusted spice levels for me as well which was appreciated!

Disappointing, a cafe that can’t do a flat white. Owner was friendly enough but I received a boiling hot cup of what seemed like instant coffee- definitely not espresso. The lid also wasn’t quite the correct fit with the cup so every time you tried a sip it would spill from under the lid!!

Heavenly Desserts is amazing for sweet treats. The waffles, crepes, and cookie dough taste so good and look great too. The place is nice, and the staff are friendly. If you love desserts, you should try it

Nice drinks. Shame the drunk lads ruined the night for our table.
