Normally you are asked to sit and someone will take your order. So we sat and waited and waited!!! In the end I went up to the counter to order. Staff unfriendly and quite dismissive. Table needed a clean but as we weren’t eating I didn’t bother to say anything. Second time I’ve been very disappointed in Handley’s in the last month so will avoid in future if their competitors across the road are open!

Love the coffee here! My family and I have been back multiple times, having recently moved into the area. We particularly enjoy the toasted cheese sandwiches and my daughter loves the hot chocolate. Great decor and ambience and we've always found the staff friendly on our 5/6 visits to date. Very limited parking on the road though, so if you're travelling by car you will have to park nearby. Even if you're lucky enough to get a spot on the road, I think it's limited to 30mins. There's a LIDL just up the road, but unless you're shopping there you have to pay for parking.

My family have been very loyal customers of tan house for years. To keep a very long story short I was huffed at for spending £30 on drinks. If your staff can’t handle a big family’s order of drinks then I suggest you get new staff….actually the majority of them were fine it was who I assumed was the manager? The only one wearing black as opposed to pink who was outrageously rude!!!

Reviews seemed good so gave it a spin. Asked for half pounder with cheese and bacon & chips. Rather than be told they don't do half pounders, I was served up two super skinny burgers, exceptionally dry, nothing special, minus the bacon. Took almost 15 minutes to come out. Disappointing. The salt lid wasn't properly secured, went all over the chips rendering them inedible. No offer of replacement. Left hungry. Won't return, poor quality food and equally poor service.

Whenever I come to Tesco for my weekly grocery shopping I never hesitated to drop by and have some coffee. Their coffee is one of the few I fancy especially the honeycomb one. Although I am not an expert when it comes to coffee and can't write a exquisite or very eloquent critique regarding what they offer I can definitely say that there is a nice blend between the coffee, syrup and milk, therefore if the bitterness does not overtake then for me it is just perfect. On the other hand the staff members are friendly and lovely.

There are two choices of cafe in Hookwood but we only ever go to Harris & Hoole - we generally go for breakfast on a Sunday just as the store opens when it's not too busy

Is this the best you have in giving customer SERVICE, Your Staff where Disgustingly rude and arrogance to go with it. And as for your car park charges of £2 if you don’t spend over £15 then it’s cost you £2 to park for just a moments. You’re doing a very good job scaring all your customers away congratulations.!!!

Lovely little bike shop. Popped in here to buy a few odds n' ends for my bike. Hard working couple in the shop. Scorching hot day but cool inside and purchased a tasty coffee to takeaway.

This was a convenient cafe to meet our friends and their dog before visiting Polesden Lacey which is only a short distance away. It was chosen as it was dog friendly and there is short term free parking here. We all had a hot drink and a cake. It was very ordinary and nothing to write home about, but it served its purpose We did not stay long as we wanted to get to Polesden Lacey as soon as possible. There were a few other customers who seemed to know each other.
