Whenever I come to Tesco for my weekly grocery shopping I never hesitated to drop by and have some coffee. Their coffee is one of the few I fancy especially the honeycomb one. Although I am not an expert when it comes to coffee and can't write a exquisite or very eloquent critique regarding what they offer I can definitely say that there is a nice blend between the coffee, syrup and milk, therefore if the bitterness does not overtake then for me it is just perfect. On the other hand the staff members are friendly and lovely.

Came for the first time as our local pub let us down- we will come back. And after coffee we wandered round the store and got a few things which we couldn’t do at the local pub! So Tesco benefited too.

I go to Harris and Hoole fairly regularly for a coffee or speciality tea. The coffee is the best tasting I have ever tried. The staff are always very welcoming and the place itself is always very clean. The thing that absolutely edges it over the likes of Starbucks and Nero’s etc is the fact you only need six stamps for a free coffee. If I had to be brutally honest, the prices are a little extortionate but for the quality of coffee you get, it makes up for it I guess!

Now one can get a good coffee in Tesco which many supermarkets cannot boost or at least the ones that I frequent anyway - good beans and good service here at coffee shop prices but you pay for what you get

Yes this is a good coffee shop that serves a good standard of coffee with strength and flavour. Yes I see that other reviewers have stated that it is expensive but this is now comparing to High Street Coffee Shops and not to the old Tesco Coffee Shops where you couldn't taste the coffee as it was just from a machine not Barista Made

Really sorry. But for a supermarket coffee shop ( look at the surroundings) . The prices are a little steep for average coffee.

Such a change for Tesco to go down this route to a brand new modern style of a Coffee Shop that has a Bohemian feel to it and should be placed in Chelsea or Notting Hill instead! All in all though this is so much better than before and I would definitely look to going here again and using them here and would suggest that others do the same

First time trying this one instead. Lovely cheese toastie, not much choice. But it was later in the day. Heaps better than the upstairs cafe. Would choose this one again.

A Most Precarious Repast at The Old House at Home There are few things in life as sacred as a well-poured drink and a sturdy table upon which to set it. Imagine my horror, then, upon entering The Old House at Home, only to find myself dining not in stately comfort but in a state of perpetual imbalance. One reserves a table with the reasonable expectation that it will, at the very least, stand firm beneath one’s elbows. Alas, what I was met with was a rickety, quivering contraption, trembling at the mere suggestion of movement. My fellow diners and I found ourselves locked in a silent contest of steadiness, each lifting a fork with the precision of a bomb disposal expert, lest we send our glasses skidding into oblivion. To make matters worse, this architectural affliction was not limited to my table alone; no, the neighbouring furniture appeared to share in this affliction, as if the entire room were engaged in some grand, lumbering waltz. A wonky table is not mere inconvenience—it is an insult to the art of dining, a sign of neglect so egregious that one wonders whether management has mistaken rustic charm for outright disrepair. One does not expect to endure a siege upon one’s senses simply to enjoy a meal. A man should be free to place his drink upon a table without fear that it may betray him. Until this most elementary of expectations is met, The Old House at Home shall remain, at best, a folly; at worst, a farce.

The People the Grange support will serve you at your table gaining experience of dealing with customers and handling money. This is an excellent and weel worth suppoting. The tea is served in the Victoriam conservatory. The cost is £6.50 a head for a scone, jam and cream with unlimited tea of coffee. Most enjoyable. The only minor downside is the start time of 2 o'close which for us is far too early 3 o;clock for tea would suit us much better and this is the only point thatwill stop us returning
