Went with a group for afternoon tea, very disappointing. The room was a soulless committee room with such a wide table really difficult to talk across. Was expecting the conservatory . There was only one waitress for 20 people ,felt really sorry for her. We waited about 40 minutes before anything happened when we all got water and our drinks order. Another long wait til the food came by which time the drinks were cold. The sandwiches were thick and uninspiring, the cakes obviously frozen as still cold. The scones were lovely to be fair. All in all poor value for £24.95

A beautiful pub and environment, that I have dined at many times and a pub I have visited for over 40 years. I particularly enjoy the slow cooked lamb shoulder, but the vegetable portion when presented on the plate could be improved, only, one large roasted carrot half and some cabbage, enjoyable but not enough, why not add some cauliflower, swede or parsnip? We ordered another side of veg for two people, that arrived quickly, but at £5.95 for only two carrots and more cabbage, disappointing. I accept that lamb is more expensive but a varied selection of veg would complement this lovely meal . Other meals and deserts have been enjoyed by us, all the staff and management are very efficient nice people.

Whenever I come to Tesco for my weekly grocery shopping I never hesitated to drop by and have some coffee. Their coffee is one of the few I fancy especially the honeycomb one. Although I am not an expert when it comes to coffee and can't write a exquisite or very eloquent critique regarding what they offer I can definitely say that there is a nice blend between the coffee, syrup and milk, therefore if the bitterness does not overtake then for me it is just perfect. On the other hand the staff members are friendly and lovely.

There are two choices of cafe in Hookwood but we only ever go to Harris & Hoole - we generally go for breakfast on a Sunday just as the store opens when it's not too busy

Went to the cafe today as I regularly do and always great easy happy and fast service and great food went today every great except some fool in management has decided now we have to use self service tills. Well welldone may be you need to go back to your office and leave stuff that’s not broken alone. Now all your older customer where either baffled or just left well done Tescos another load of rubbish good job you have such a great team in the cafe to pic up the pieces

We went with family and friends for New Year's Day brunch. Amongst us we had coeliac and pescitarion. They took both allergies and choices on board and made sure that everyone was so well catered for. The team, now led by Jarron are so welcoming. We would highly recommend them.

Clean. Clear signage everywhere. Hand gel everywhere near all touch points staff and customers all wearing face coverings in all communal areas. Friendly helpful staff. Food was very nice and staff in restaurant and bar friendly and helpful would not hesitate to revisit

Menu has changed since last visit. Good quality but a little pricey. Lovely decor. I booked ahead to ensure a table. Not keen on the 'optional service charge' added to the bill which was around 13%. I find that cheeky & unwarranted. The coffee for £4 was disgusting.

Came here with my wife before flying out from Gatwick and found the food just OK but expensive and the tables left uncleared and dirty. Not what we expected and would not use again
