I bought an espresso and after 5 minutes the “ barista “ gave me one that has been in the machine metal freaks for at least 3 minutes . Considering that an espresso get acid quickly and therefore need to be drunk fresh , for the price paid I asked a new fresh one . The girl working there I guess got quite upset about myself schooling her ,- but guys these are the basics of brewing coffe otherwise it is dirty water and not an infusion - anyway she did but what a customer service . I guess the manager should train them properly

We were travelling early and had driven 3 hours to catch our flight. Imagining delicious coffee and fresh pastries we went to Starbucks. What we got was coffee like weasel piss and a stale un appetising pain aux chocolate. I say this with a heavy heart because the staff were a proper, polite, hardworking team. I’d employ any of them alas the goods on offer are second rate.

We had quite a lot of time to kill before our next flight, so dropped in here for a cup of coffee and a cake. The cafe was absolutely heaving and I thought service would be dreadful, but they seemed really organised, took the order at one end and provided drinks etc at the other end. Almost seamless!

What’s going on? Just asked to have the coffee without the lid and the server just ignored me. I asked him not to put the lid on as I didn’t want to waste the plastic and just received a super ignorant response! Unreal - Didn’t expect this at 4am at the airport. Not impressed.

Wednesday 15th May with time to kill before the departure of our flight, we came here to have a coffee. The coffee shop is located on the mezzanine floor in Gatwick's North Terminal. We found a table to sit at but we had to clear it before we could use it, don't think it had been properly cleaned in ages. Once table and seating sorted one of us went to the counter to order the coffees. They certainly know how to charge here £8.40 for two flat whites. This also included a charge for a single use paper cup. I do not like drinking coffee from a paper cup, take away is fine but not when consuming the drink on the premises. After a bit of a wait we were able to collect the coffees which were initially to hot to drink. When cooled down to a drinkable temperature there was not  much flavour. So a waste of time and money, would have be better going to "Spoons" for a pint.

Tried to order a "tall white chocolate mocha" to get an injection of caffeine before the flight, and had to say it five times and still ended up with a white hot chocolate. Genuinely if you can't understand the order, do not work on tills. Had to correct the guy from "two" to "tall" three times, and he still got it wrong. And he had no idea how to process a gift card, even his colleague was fed up with him. I know people will think I'm being picky, but it's an airport - caffeine is important.

Awful and a rip off. You can't now get a pack of straightforward sandwiches. Only fancy bagles and other wraps. I asked if they had yoghurt pot with berries and granola and was told no. I asked why and the guy said "it's seasonal". What a load of tosh. Everything very overpriced. Seating area uncomfortable and no clearing up or table wiping done. We will avoid totally from now on.

Ordered a breakfast roll - it was cold and opened it up I wouldn’t feed my dog what was inside it so asked for a refund. Instead of a refund they have debited me for the item again!! Now having to raise a dispute with my credit card company which is a pain! So will never use this place again at Gatwick - food rubbish and staff not trained to do refunds obviously!

It's OK as far as coffee outlets go in an airport terminal. The cost is the usual airport inflated price but it tastes alright. There's little gluten free options available. Seating area is small and filled with lots of other people also waiting around. However, there is a bar of stools which were all free but you can get jostled by the people waiting to get their drinks, etc

We visited around 3am on a busy Saturday in August before our flight. Hadn't slept much and needed coffee to revive us. It was incredibly busy for the time of day. We ordered coffees and food. The Starbucks membership code scanner was not working for some unknown reason, so we didn't get/redeem our points. I specifically asked for oat milk for my daughter's latte, as she has a suspected lactose intolerance. When we received it, it said semi skimmed milk on the ticket. My daughter (who's a Starbucks barista at an unconnected branch) asked for it to be changed as it's company policy. At first the barista was reluctant and the lady behind the till said out loud in a very rude way 'she didn't ask for it'. I don't expect this kind of customer service from a high quality brand like Starbucks. But my daughter had to push for a replacement and they reluctantly made one. Later she ordered another drink, specifically asking for oat milk. Whilst she was waiting she witnessed the barista using whole milk and using the dairy blender. Before it was handed off one of the other baristas asked if it was definitely made with oat milk and he said that it was, but my daughter definitely saw that he had not. This was a deliberate disregard for allergies. If a customer had a severe allergy to cows milk this could result in serious consequences. Next time we're at Gatwick we'll be having our coffee elsewhere.

The most abysmal ‘coffee’ I have ever tasted and after relieving us of £31 for 3 sandwiches & 3 small drinks, we were told that we couldn’t use their seating area as it was closed. The few seats in use had people that clearly weren’t moving any time soon. Zero customer service

By far the grubbiest place I’ve eaten in a long time. Floors tables and even the walls were dirty. Overhead the lights were encrusted with dust. Disappointing food served in a paper bag with non recyclable cups. And paid a fortune for this grim experience.

Using dirty clothes to wipe the cups. Busy gossiping loudly and treating customers like an inconvenience. When you ask for something, I'm sorry to say they struggle to understand. I had to physically get it myself because the barrister struggled to understand what a cup holder was. The service was good in 2022. Its really gone down hill. The new staff are not professional enough. Service is about being clean and treating customers well. I didn't see that at all.

Went here on the 7th and was absolutely chocked. I’ve been working for Starbucks for 2 years as a barista and supervisor and never seen anything like this. The barista doing the beverages did not clean the milk jugs twice and used the bar towel that we use to clean the steamer to clean the machine and proceed to use it as a normal steam cleaner. Disgusting. The beverage quality was not up to standards Customer service was not the best. Really sad to see that some partners don’t take their job seriously

With regret I visited this unit this evening. Couldn’t call it a coffee house because it does not serve drinkable coffee. I returned my cold cappuccino but my wife threw her hot chocolate in the bin. It was vile like slop water. Do these staff or management ever taste the products they are serving? I venture not. I’ll die of thirst before I ever call to this unit again. So should you I’d recommend.

My panini was very tasty and that's why it got 2 stars, however as a coffee house I would expect the coffee to be good. My espresso was weak and as thin as an Americano and when I asked for Brown sugar, I was informed they had run out, in a very off hand matter. They should perhaps reclassify as an eatery or employ a barista to sort out the coffee and as Gatwick is busy airport, order as such. Very disappointed.

Один парень блондин на кассе, трое (две женщины и парень) в стороне. Стоят и общаются, вытирая инвентарь. Блондин выбивает чек, потом долго стою и жду, когда вспомнят обо мне. Кассир им ничего не говорит, не отходит со своего места. Пообщавшись, одна из этих общающихся решает все таки сделать мне кофе. Ставит в спешке стаканчик, нажимает, половина течет мимо, прямо на край стаканчика, стекая по стенкам мимо. Она не поправив стаканчик, вытирает этот стаканчик грязной тряпкой, которой только что при мне вытирала столы и пыль и подает мне. Половина кофе вылилось мимо. Ни один не приветлив, никто не улыбается. Такое отношение, что посещающие их беспокоят и лучше бы не заходили! Захотите кофе в аэропотру.... лучше проходите мимо этого места!

I was travelling on the 6/01/2020, I usually like to have a coffee in the terminal.On this occasion, I didn’t find the service friendly. Other than address me in English to take my order the staff carried on a conversation among themselves in another language, I asked a question about grilling my food and the server answered me in a manner that suggested I was an idiot, the coffee I received wasn’t very hot. The service was quick but I was the only customer at the counter.

I’ve visited this Starbucks many, many times when travelling with work and have never had any issues. This time I was with my family and ordered a cup of cold milk for my young son. When I got the receipt I noticed I’d been charged £2.55 for what was about half a pint (a pint of milk is currently 50p). I asked a member of staff (Catalina) about it while I was waiting for all the other drinks and food I had ordered: her response is the reason for this review. First she wrongly assumed I was asking where my order was and waved her hand at me saying “everything is coming” because the gentleman beside me had just been asking. Re the price, she shrugged her shoulders at me, with full arm-raise accompaniment to make sure I knew how much she didn’t care, smirked and said “this is the airport” and “nothing is free” which is not what I was requesting, which she knew perfectly well. She wandered off and the customers next to me commented on the cost of the milk. We asked for the manager who shared Catalina’s views - she shrugged, grimaced and said “You don’t like, you give back” [sic]. *Starbucks: These two employees did not represent the Starbucks values or level of customer service we know to expect from your brand. It is expected that airport prices are higher but this inflation level for half a pint of cold milk was disproportionate and 2.5 times more than we pay in the high street. Had your employees handled the situation with a modicum of respect towards me, I wouldn’t have written this review.

Visited here on Monday 9th Dec whilst waiting on my flight home.Ordered a coffee to sit in as had a few hours to go before flying home.Stood at the bar for over 10 mins waiting on my latte.To be fair it was busy but not busy enough to have them forget my order.The person who took my order suddenly looked up and seen me, looked about to realise he could not find my ticket stub and cup then sheepishly came over to ask my drink again.Himself and the barrista then had a loud argument about getting my coffee made and who's fault it was that they had lost my drink.Very poor experience. Place was untidy. Tables dirty and sticky. Coffee luke warm and staff rude and very unhelpful.

We love Starbucks fruit toast and Frappuccino’s particularly so thought we’d have some along with our porridge as brunch before boarding. Unfortunate there was no fruit toast so we opted for ham and cheese croissants. They were so dry and tasteless that we opened them to understand why. Thought maybe we had chosen ham only as we could find no trace of cheese. I brought them to the counter and apparently they could see cheese there lol. Two of the members of staff pointed to a butter like dot and said ‘That’s it. That’s the cheese’... They were inedible. A poor show Starbucks on both the quality of the product and the lack of customer service. Threw them in the bin and went to another establishment.

What can I say about this Starbucks?! It is always heaving and difficult to get a seat, but it is quite tatty now. The queues here weren’t as big as at other cafes and staff were coping quite well. On the whole, it was clean enough and you could plug your technology in while you ate and drank!

You can’t bring your own water due to security at the airport and the coffee shops just take advantage of this and charges a fortune to customers. They also don’t list their prices clearly. Caramel latte was disgusting and poorly made. I had to chuck most of it in the bin.

Bought a Starbucks reusable plastic mug at Camden store on our way to the zoo yesterday. Went to buy a coffee today and the inner part of the mug came out likely due to faulty manufacturing. Flying out to Spain today and knew there was a store at Gatwick so took the mug to have it replaced. The young lad went off to speak to his manager and returned to state they couldn’t replace it and return it for a replacement as they are a franchise!! WTF?? How many people buying at one Starbucks store buy their next drink at another. Hate to have a whinge but it’s really crappy to be told to get back on a train and return to replace a £10 mug.

I always use this Starbucks when flying from Gatwick. As usual, clean, reasonably priced for an airport and well staffed. Excellent coffee and a very good choice of pastries and baguettes. However, they have introduced background music. Too loud and absolutely dreadful.

Place full of dirty trays, not cleaning at all. Was working on my laptop for near 1.5 hours no one came to clean around . Passengers seat on dirty tables . There are sockets everywhere ( NO ONE WORK) if you need to charge any device go elsewhere. Lady at the counter rude and not interested it. Won’t come back

We flew out of Gatwick twice in October and on each occasion visited Starbucks. The first trip was early on a Friday morning and the staff were very busy but still friendly but the second trip was on a Tuesday morning and the service was excellent. The friendly barista said my name 3 times in the short dialect we had and the last who served our drinks and breakfasts had a great demeanour.

While waiting for my flight at Gatwick North Terminal , I ordered a medium double shot cappuccino to drink in . There was one person ahead of me and no one behind me . There was plenty staff all looking disinterested . I waited 10 minutes and then went to the counter . A very unfriendly young man. Grunted “ it’s coming “ he just started it . He served it in a paper cup , he didn’t understand me when I said I didn’t want to take away . He said yes yes this take away . I said. Could I have it in a mug , he didn’t understand , I pointed to another persons mug , so he slipped it in a mug and abruptly passed it me saying nothing at all . Then when I tasted it , it did t have an extra shot in . I took it back and asked about the double shot . He made out not too understand , so I gave up and had my Luke warm weak cappuccino that cost me over £ 4.00 !!

We visited Starbucks at North Terminal Gatwick last Friday when we were away for the weekend. The coffee was great as it always is at this chain but the airport was heaving at 4.30am and we couldn't get anywhere in any of the restaurants to sit so we just had coffee from here. Fairly friendly staff but counter for collecting coffee was too small and difficult to get to when busy. Always a great first coffee of the day and never too strong or bitter.

Plenty of seating with a mix of arm chairs and wooden chairs and tables. Departures board in sight to keep an eye on flight times. Staff polite and pleasant. Coffee and products are the standard Starbucks fare and priced accordingly. Small selection of Starbucks merchandise also available including their reusable coffee cups.

I ordered a Regular Peach Citrus Green Tea after reading the board that was up high and behind the counter which was difficult to read with glasses on while in the queue. Barista didn't understand what I meant by "Regular" but I couldn't read the 'starbucks sizes' (and nor could the customer Infront of me! So it's not just my eyes!). Although service was quick, a Peach Green Tea Lemonade was called out, to which a different barista was irritated when I asked if that was the same thing as the Peach Citrus Green Tea I ordered, he replied "pfft, no we don't even have that! But this is yours". I have no idea if they are similar drinks beyond the Peach part, but I am disappointed with the service, both by not telling me what I was ordering was out of stock, but also for the blunt responses from staff

We’ve visited this pub a few times for drinks but this was our first time to eat. Outstanding in every respect. The staff(mostly young) give excellent, friendly efficient service. The food quality was at a high level and good value for money. A truly great dining experience. Our server Hayley deserves a special mention - she did a fine job.

I had heard a lot about this place and decided to rty it. The place was spotlessly clean and we were served pretty quickly and was very friendly and welcoming. All food is cooked to order. There was no delay in getting the food. I had a mixed grill. But it was more a glorified breakfast. Decent size portion and the food was cooked nicely. But nothing to write home about. This is a place where you are satisfied, but not overly impressed food wise. But the warm and welcoming atmosphere makes up for it. I would certainly have no problem going there again.

Looking for somewhere new to try locally and had a look online and found the new lunchtime menu that has been introduced It has a great selection of favourites, including Fish and Chips and gammon steak. which was very tasty we had a lovely lunchtime meal and will definitely be visiting again.

I wouldn’t stay again. Hopefully the pub is alright but the rooms just don’t do it for me. Cobwebs on the walls, dirty hand prints around the light switch, crumbs on the floor. Pillows were maybe as old as me and had no substance to them and whilst the bottom bed sheet was clean there was no top sheet, just a duvet which I felt had not been washed since the last guest, it didn’t smell fresh. At under £40 for a single room it could be considered good value but it’s not a place I will return to.
