I'm a regular, great service as usual, lunch is very good value for money and tasty. Atmosphere is very relaxed, and you get a very warm welcome each time you walk through the door.

Fantastic cafe. top quality food by a super friendly owner. breakfasts here have become a must do for bluebell railway staff working at East Grinstead and more than likely you'll see us in there around 9am. I adore chilli on chips. I spend every day not breakfasting at the zac shack, wishing I was breakfasting at the zac shack.

This is definitely my "go-to" place to meet friends, especially in the current difficult times. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and very efficient. The menu is very good, the surroundings are immaculately clean and the tables well spaced - all of the staff wear masks and orders are brought directly to your table. Payment is contactless. The restrooms are equally immaculately clean and have been refurbished in order to provide as good a 'no-touch' experience as it is possible to achieve. In these concerning times, all of this ensures a relaxing and comfortable experience - a lot of time and thought has quite obviously gone into providing a Covid-safe environment that is as reassuring as possible. Highly recommended.

We had low expectations of this place (it's attached to a goods warehouse) but wow, were we wrong. It's owned and run by an Italian who cooks fabulous food. We had a wonderful lunch - the home made burger and vegetarian pasta were particular highlights - and the tiramisu for dessert was delicious, too. All for a very low price. We will be back!

I ate here recently with some friends and we had a great time. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We’re all vegetarian/ vegan and there were so many different options. Would definitely go back again!

Best burgers in town, hands down. Loaded fries are incredible! Milkshakes are awesome. Staff are awesome. Highly recommend

What a hidden gem! Visiting EG for the day and wandered into this fantastic bar. Beers and ciders kept impeccably with a large selection to choose from. Very much enjoyed the meaty snackz. Will visit again!

The food was very very nice and the owner’s customer service was exceptional. I would deffo recommend.

Great food and the staff are always welcoming, friendly, and thankful. The woman who takes orders over the phone is also very polite and sat in a quiet room which makes ordering easier. I just wish they had a website with online ordering, and red cabbage. Apart from that, great place. UPDATED - They now have a website for online ordering and it's excellent! Great work!

Lovely evening with great food and a banging Mrs. Whole bass and falafel for mains. The pita and dips served as an hors d'oeuvres were lovely too.

Had afternoon tea today and it was amazing! The food was great, the cakes were beautiful! I Definitely would recommend going here! And the price for what you get was brilliant. To top it off the staff are all lovely and made you feel welcome!

Excellent. We went last week and had a lovely meal, in fact we haven't been able to shut up about it. Each of us bring up at least once a day, so it's safe to say we shall be returning :)

Had our work Christmas due here last night and I cannot fault this beautiful restaurant. The food was incredible, the drinks were great! The service was beyond brilliant they were so attentive with us and made sure we had all we needed. I don’t normally leave reviews but I will defiantly be recommending this place to everyone and anyone! Love love loved it!

I ordered a pad thai and vegetables in batter. This meal was terrible and tasteless. They seem to think if you put sugar in everything people will be satisfied. This a lazy excuse for not being able to cook food with flavour or variety. When I told them this sticky tasteless goo! They call a meal wasn't edible. They refused to refund me, but did give me some fried vegetables, which was just about ok. The vegetables in batter were greasy and tasteless. The king prawn in batter, looked like it came from a frozen ready-made packet and just thrown in a deep fryer. Nither of us finished our meal. After spending £42.00 i feel totally unhappy and dissatisfied withis experience. I woke the next morning after feeling somewhat poisoned and not feeling good, you that feeling that you get when you know you ate something dodgy! Do they change the oil they cook with regularly or at all? Don't eat there, it's not good!
