Fantastic kebab shop with really friendly staff. The best doner meat and chips for miles! It's been many years since I discovered Megabites but the food quality and the friendliness of the staff has only improved. I am moving away and will really miss my takeaway treat. Great food and the staff are always welcoming, friendly, and thankful. The woman who takes orders over the phone is also very polite and sat in a quiet room which makes ordering easier. I just wish they had a website with online ordering, and red cabbage. Apart from that, great place.

stayed in travel lodge for a day looked for kebab shop came across to megabites got my self mega special (mix grill) with chilli and garlic with the saled on the side,everything was absolute delicious the sauces was on point home made the meat was so soft and full of flavours the owner was really polite I had to write a review to say thank you and I will definitely go back there when visit east grinstead…

Had something I have not tried before it was awful ment to have a vegetable sauce and melted butter none was given very sad because always good normally. Very dry will not recommend

Stayed in travell lodge for bussienes trip found this kebab shop its a small shop it has alot of choices i chosed mega special with home made chillie and garlic and box of saled on side i could honestly say i was the tastiest kebab ive had in a log time they were very busy the owner was realy friendly and served me very quick i highly recommed this place…

Very good service and food, only downfall is the chilli sauce it's not spicy enough to really class it as chilli sauce it might as well be tomato sauce.

I've been going to megabites for many years after club nights I have moved out from east Grinstead and have recently moved back and I thought I get a kebab wow what absolute improvement its completely changed very crispy fresh salad very tasty kebabs the garlic and chilli is definitely the best I've tasted well done to the boys they have been there for years and still going strong very friendly and good Service definitely recommend this kebab shop I'll be visiting more often thank you very much

Very first experience of a kebab. Absolutely delicious, great service, reasonably priced, a pleasure to eat there. Just three seats by window, not a cafe. Would recommend.

Really good kebab. Great service, tasty chilly sauce and the meat always tastes really quality, fresh and no gristle.

Wrap was really excellent, the best part is it's chilli sauce and garlic sauce.

Food is nice but they always lie about the delivery time. Sat waiting for an order placed nearly 2 hours ago that they said would be 45 minutes. Used them a few times and always the same. This is the last time we will use them.

Have not ordered from here in a while . No reason for that really other than I was cooking more at home.. I have to say.. have now been on a doner mission.. addicted.. 3 times ordered and 3 times absolutely spot on ... also I worked in a restaurant and ate there until recently.. The food is always spot on.. will be ordering again soon .. Thank you megabites.. ( you are disrupting my diet but I forgive you) xx

Absolutely LOVE this place. Best takeaway in East Grinstead, by far. Generous portions and the lamb is absolutely spot on. Literally go here at least once a week, feed the entire family... They all love it too. Quick delivery, always friendly on the phone, best kebabs in town.

Had the combination lamb shish, chicken shish and kofte. Food was outstanding. Perfectly seasoned, tender and pipping hot. Just brilliant. Loved it so much that I had to phone the guys at Megabites to let them know.

Couldnt of asked for a warmer welcome when entering umit’s establishment after previously ordering over the phone to collect which was also a very easy going and well understood conversation which is very important as we all know, food was cooked to perfection and precisely how it was ordered, would highly recommend this place! 10/10 for service and quality

Went into Megabites yesterday evening following a gym session with my other half. Met by a really warm and welcoming team of people, told them I was looking for a really great chicken burger and my gosh did they do that! It was cooked to perfection, despite them cooking 20 other meals at the same time, they did it with a smile, conversation and good spirit. I will coming back here many more times and can't wait to check out the rest of their menu :) Thanks again to Umit and the rest of the team, you are all great. 5* from us

Me and the family recently moved to east grinstead so we didn’t know where there would be a decent kebab so we tried megabites and we all really enjoyed it 👏🏻 Very nice food.

The kebab meat was hard and overcooked chips were not much better worse kebab I ever had and a waste of 14 pound

The kebab is fantastic. Really fresh and tasty meat that comes in a big portion. Salad also tastes really fresh and everything on the menu is reasonably priced. The owner is quite possibly the friendliest guy in EG and this place really is head and shoulders above the other two kebab shops. Buzzing to go back.

Good food and always goes the extra mile to call when outside as driver knows baby is asleep at time of delivery! Love this! Highly recommend.

I viseted east grinstead for bussines trip stayed in travel lodge mega bites was the closest kebab shop to me all i can say the kebabs was abslutely amazing very tasty the owner was very welcoming offering turkish tea and very friendly and good service i definatly highly recommend this place guys 👌

Food ok but won't buy from there again because a young girl that works there sat behind the counter or their cooler display unit eating chilli dripping everywhere so unhygienic so if they do that for you to see I would hate to imagine what they do that you can't see so 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 from me

After ordering room service from our hotel didnt want to make the same mistake again. We found this place on Google and so glad we did. The guy was so nice and welcoming. As for the food the only word is amazing. Donner wraps are to die for we were so full after very satisfying. Just wish it wasnt so far from home.

Fast food at a reasonable price. Food is delicious and delivery is always quicker than expected. Usually the last place to close on the high street so it proves a welcome treat after a night on the town.

Forgot the chilli sauce in the delivery order but after a phone call it arrived within 10 minutes. Brilliant food would recommend it!!! 😁

It’s Christmas Eve and I just placed a telephone order into Mega-Butes. I said I was going to be 15 minutes and sure enough the food is there ready, hot and delicious in 15 minutes. The service is excellent, friendly and welcoming. The food is first class. Definitely the place to go for a quick delicious meal.

I apologise to Mega Bites for not being an 18-25 year old girl in a crop top. Clearly that’s my problem as I went for some very chilled drinks at the top of town and recommended this place to my friends. Upon arrival we stood waiting to order (which took quite a while) and my friends ordered first. 10 minutes in and I still hadn’t placed and order. Another 4 customers jump right to the front, clearly knowing someone who works there and orders right away. Trust me this wasn’t a normal Saturday, it was 1am and there were maybe 6-8 people there in total. I’ve been at the counter for 15 minutes now and my friends have left. I have social anxiety so asking to order takes a HUGE amount of courage. I got 4 ‘just one second’ fingers thrown at me each time I asked. I thought I’d just stick it out and wait. A 20 something year old girl walks in and is now behind a guy that came in about 5 minutes before. OF COURSE THE STAFF ASK HER WHAT SHE WOULD LIKE! I was beyond fuming. About 15-20 mins of wasting my time being ignored and this blonde girl comes in and is served straight away. Even the guy in front of her was disgusted. I was never a frequent customer as it was but after that disgusting display of ‘customer service’ I will never return. This won’t make a difference, it won’t change anything. The people there will continue to work the same way. But if it’s a weekend and you aren’t an attractive young female, be prepared to be invisible.
