The best restaurants in Newhaven Valley Lewes South East

Thought I would try their pizzas since i like a pizza closed and was impressed. The pizza was hot and had plenty of topping, was delivered quickly and price was comparable with previous place. Desserts sound interesting and a cut above some on offer elsewhere.

Was visiting for the day and popped in for 2 baguettes, tuna and salad and Brie and cranberry with salad. The best baguettes ever, fresh , packed with filling, so tasty. The Brie and cranberry was absolutely fantastic , a def recommendation , the shop had a lovely atmosphere , it was immaculate and the staff were extremely friendly. Will definitely revisit .

Ordered a takeaway delivery to the port terminal where we were staying over night for the ferry. Food arrived early. Chicken Biriyani and Chicken Ceylon and Veg Naan. Both meals were of exceptional quality. Red hot and freshly cooked. Lovely people to deal with on the phone and in person. Excellent value too. Heartily recommended. If we lived down here we’d be there every week. Superb. Thanks to all the staff.

Am a bit hard to please with food as hate paying money for bad food. Chicken Shish arrived hot, salad fresh, chips freshly cooked and the food arrived hot. Only minor complaint would be too much onion in the salad. Thank you 👍

Visiting town, I just enjoyed a couple of hours of karaoke. Fun evening, locals all in great humour and voice. Lively without being a mad crush. Very enjoyable.

Food delicious, no complaints. Great service. We shall be back.

Diabolical is the word to describe the food we were given!!!

They were happy to accommodate a party of 10 for Sunday lunch with no notice. Excellent Food and Excellent service. We will be back.

Well don't quite know what to say about this place , other than its very ran down. Today we went for lunch as we thought it would be quick, how wrong were we --- we waited 3/4 hour for 2 dishes. After 30 mins I asked the waitress if she could check on our food, she came back and said another 15 mins. at exactly quarter past the hour our food came out by a young boy I asked him why it was so long and he said.. you are not the only customers here. Anyway rude staff and food and no refund or apology. the manager came to see me and he said it's done sorry for the wait. Tables dirty and very young staff unsupervised who are wkd staff . Do not eat here if you want a good meal the food is not worth it.
