The best restaurants in Newhaven Valley Lewes South East

Lovely little place, service friendly, if a little slow,but it wasn't a problem as it just forced us to relax a little. Excellent risotto and carbonara plus cheesecake to die for. Great to see they serve 0% beer too.

My go to for coffee .cake .bacon sandwich. Amazing....

Nice place with table service. Good selection of coffee and teas.

Thought I would try their pizzas since i like a pizza closed and was impressed. The pizza was hot and had plenty of topping, was delivered quickly and price was comparable with previous place. Desserts sound interesting and a cut above some on offer elsewhere.

Good priced and lovely food. A regular at Rose cafe and friendly atmosphere.

Terrible service by a silly little man today. No manners and forcing service charge when the service was rubbish. Then he claims he’s the manager which was even more hilarious when his colleague confirmed in front of him that he is not the manager 😅 I won’t pay service but I’ll pay for his his bus fare to the doctors

Much better than McDonald, better quality and different drinks and much cheaper. I love this place

A good old fashioned pub, where you don't feel pressurised to buy a meal to have a pint or two. In fact they don't even serve food. Friendly local pub.

Over the years had three in a row of poor quality food. Last night gave it another try after over a year Food good. Delivery good. Price good portions good.

Ordered mixed starter £8-9 piece of chicken, 2 piece of lamb, about a bites worth of sheek kebab and 1 tiny tiny samosa, really poor. Vindaloo not much flavour and chicken really small and no potato. Busy Saturday night so no idea why food was so poor

Was such a shame as me and my partner are regular customers and today we had two hairs in our food and we hadn't even eaten half our meals food was amazing just finding the hairs put us off

Ordered burger and chips very disappointing hard bun over cooked hard chips poor. Had to ask for the table to be cleaned won't be returning.

All the unheathiest people in Newhaven congregating at the entrance smoking and spitting. If you aren't hoping to meet someone that you already gave chlamidia to don't bother
