As good as the kebab was and how friendly the staff were, I was warned to not go here as people had diarrhoea after eating the dinner however I wanted to make my own assumption, it was lovely food however both me and my partner are suffering this morning(diarrhoea) shame but won’t be returning

Very tasty and delicous, Good vibe and fresh. I really enjoyed my kofte Kebab. Thank you Bursa and would recommed to friends and family.

I personally order from here nearly every week. Alway delicious comes all the way to telscombe . Last week I ordered more local and regretted it ,this will always be my go to takeaway restaurant whether it be kebab, chicken burger or goujon wrap ,always a pleasure to eat

Absolutely love this place, order from here all the time and wouldn't go anywhere else. Chilli sauce is great, some of the best I've ever had, I always ask for extra. The mixed kebab though is incredible. Only wish they did loyalty points! :D

I was the opposite of sober when I came here but they treated me with respect. Kebab was absolutely lovely. I would eat here again, albeit sober next time

The food isn't bad and always arrives fairly quick but I have to say the prices are becoming a joke, seems like every time I place an order the prices have hiked again, been using this place for years but this is the last time. Will find somewhere else. JUST ADDING TO MY ORIGINAL REVIEW. Again the prices have gone up, mixed kebab now £16.50 beyond a joke, completely taking advantage of people now for a bit of bread, salad and about £4 worth of meat.... Then to charge £3 for delivery. This was a few years ago the best place around. Biggest rip off going now.

Visited Bursa to order some food....kebab, nuggets, mushrooms etc. Man wearing a fan around his neck added additional items onto our order, which when questioned was checked by who I assume was the manager. Who refunded me the additional monies. However, order was still wrong when we got home, we had an additional portion of chips which we paid for, but we were not aware that the additional chips were in addition to the nuggets as this was not made clear and we were totally confused by the man with the fan around his neck. Once home, food was soggy, dripping in oil and the mushrooms were lacking the garlic sauce! We have all been feeling ill since, possibly because the food has proved to be hard to digest due to its condition. Wont be using this kebab shop again, will head to Lewes next time!

Only place to go locally for a kebab, you won't be disappointed

Great sea bass, melts in your mouth. Lamb was great too. Just a small note, the Fatoush needed more salt. Good solid food overall.

Never let's you down, always a good kebab

Awful !! Spent over 60 pounds. No chilli sauce, no lamb chop, no garlic sauce, no salad. Bought 4 pittas - got 3 and a wrap. Asked for extra chilli, didn't get any. When I phoned I was told no refunds given but they can gwt it all delivered to me withing 30 minutes.!! When the family had finished eating. Totally avoid this con rip off company.

We have heard about Bursa from a couple of friends who said how good the food is, well! We ordered a chicken Shish Kabab for myself and my wife and a burger for our son. We ordered our food and paid online, the website/app was very easy to use, the food was great and arrived well with in the suggest time from the website. Our son who usually just eats and doesn’t really comment on food made a clear statement of “how amazing is this burger”, we will be going back for more.

Simply the tastiest kebabs I've ever had

It's not hard to see why they are major prizewinners, very clean and food is to die for, prices are great for the quality of the food.

I've used Bursa many times in the past, and have been able to overlook slight issues such as missing cheese on chips when ordered, or mayo. Tonight, however, my fiancee ordered a meal for herself and after delivery noticed the drink was missing. Phoned to ask about the drink and could hear the manager talking trash about her in the background. She asked to be put on the phone to him and he was a vile person that basically told her it was her fault her drink was missing because she didn't check the SEALED BAG before the driver left. Then told her he would be removing drinks from the online menu because it's causing too much hassle so it would be HER FAULT that future customers can't order drinks online. After fifteen minutes of refusing to redeliver or partial refund for the missing drink that SHE'D PAID FOR he eventually sent the driver out with the drink and said he would give 20% refund (still hasn't). Will NOT be voting for Bursa in future awards, nor will you be getting any orders from us or our friends. We're still both completely shocked with how the manager went off at her.

Not one to blame but it’s been a few times Iv been and the gent serving (in summer wears a fan around his neck) I don’t drink so have noticed this with me and few others In front, Iv either been short changed once’s up to £10 sometimes or quoted a higher price then on menu, if someone is under the influence it’s quite easy to miss it, its not the first time so now starting to ring bells!! it’s theft!!!! and most likely happens daily to say 20 out of 50 customers you do the maths! Plus it’s not that great only really have awards as not much competition in this small town

Unfortunately since this place got an award it’s become complacent. The food standards have slipped and attention to detail has become way below average. The guys are very friendly and flirtatious until you question or complain about something. They then change accents, voice tones and demeanour. We waited 1.45hrs for a delivery - and I called to see where it was. The guy in the background responded to his colleague very loudly ‘oh S**t’ with our address, and claimed it was on route. A further 20 mins passed and it arrived. We opened the food, soggy, damp and inedible. We called to complain and we had to suggest for a replacement. The guy wanted the opened food resent back. We thought this would be a COVID risk but we’re happy to follow instructions. Over an hour later so 3 hours since our original order - we get a delivery. No apology - just a simple ‘oh well!’ When we said we were disappointed in the service! What a shame for Newhaven. Bursa you could do so much better with less arrogance with your new ‘title’ we won’t be returning ‘Oh well’

The food was okay but very small portions. They got some of our order wrong but it wasn't worth the hassel trying to get it sorted. The staff are arrogant. Overall we won't be using them again...

Glad I made the effort to try a Bursa chicken shish kebab - it was delicious - succulent, fresh, well marinated chicken with a really tasty, but not overly hot chilli sauce - scrummy-licious - highly recommended...

Bang on food after a good belly full of beer

Went in tonight to get my son a burger and chips. Really rude and unfriendly. Doesn't accept cards!! Chips were terrible and bun far too small for the burger. Used to be a great takeaway. Shame. Avoid.

Small portions of chips not on par

I had the 1/4 cheese burger meal deal it was cooked well and not dripping in grease. We also ordered 2 doner kebabs and they were nice as well

I had a kebab and after eating it I didn’t feel right then a few hours later I threw up I wouldn’t advise eating anything from here.

Just had the most amazing kebab wrap and chicken shish kebab delivered. Both were absolutely amazing, delivery was prompt and the food was hot.

By far the best kebab shop for miles. Great staff, buy most importantly great food. We only ever get kebabs from here now and I'd really recommend getting a vegetable skewer with your kebab, really makes it. All your usual fare, definitely recommend.

Never had any problems with Bursa good food good delivery drivers nice people who answer the phone what more can you ask for we live in peacehaven and we can buy kebabs closer to home but we don't this should tell how good Bursas kebabs and other food is we have brought from them for six years and my son and he's wife who live just a cross the road from Bursa has been buy kebabs ect for even longer keep up the Good work

Chips were dry, cod was plain and batter wasn't right, burger had no taste, sausage didn't taste like normal .... order a few times a month from here always nice except from this time

Always enjoy them, £10 minimum delivery is handy, they work late and work hard, are always friendly, and the food is always good and the portions massive.

Whenever we fancy a kebab it has to be from here,we live in Peacehaven but it is worth the drive down for one of these(or they do deliver also) I can recommend the shish,either lamb or chicken or you can have half and half,in either a medium or large size.The meat is tender and in nice large chunks,beautifully chargilled for max flavour and the salad is always nice and fresh with a choice of hot firey chilli sauce or mayo,and the pittas are generously filled.Definitely the best kebab for miles!
