Lovely atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and one lovely man even came to unlock the gates for me to retrieve my car when they were closed. Thanks again :)

Great little find! Out for the day and really fancied Sunday lunch. Hit the jackpot here! Made so welcome by Lauren and her staff. Nothing too much trouble. "Of course, no problem" response to every question. Loved that serve 2 sizes of meals as we tend to waste so much nowadays. The roast was delicious, real food cooked well and served with a smile. They even provided me with a takeaway dessert as I had no room for it at the time. We highly recommend.

Once again, a beautiful visit to The Garlic Farm for breakfast. Booking online easy, we were seated next to the window & loved seeing the red squirrels, they were busy foraging. Drinks order placed quickly & brought to us, we both had the Garlic Farm breakfast. Hot, tasty and filling, enjoyed alongside Garlic ketchup & Black Garlic ketchup. Will be back soon. Many thanks to you all, as always, smiling, friendly service :-)

Haven’t been here for probably 7 years as we moved into Bristol! I wished we’d stayed so we could come here more often. Excellent food and great value too! Staff were super friendly and a good laugh! A must for locals, passerby’s and cyclists! Will be back soon!

we have heard the pub is under new ownership and have noticed that more people seemed to be stopping at the the white lion. called in and gave it a try, what a turn around since we last went there some years ago. Had a tasty home cooked meal, nice beer in a pub with a great atmosphere. Have already booked to try the sunday carvery.

This is a great 'out of the way' place to stop and have a quick bite to eat or drink, the cafe is set in the grounds of the abbey and there is seating inside and out. A lovely location on any day. There is a small menu of food available. Plus homemade cakes and hot drinks

We had quite a relaxing experience, but our breakfast took quite a long time to be served, and by the time it arrived to our table our coffee had gone cold. The lakes were lovely to stroll around and we decided to take some cake away with us which was delicious. I wouldn’t mind returning to try the breakfast brioche.
