Delicious Eggs Benedict and Avocado with egg on sourdough. Hot drinks nice and hot - the pot of tea was generously sized.

Lovely atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and one lovely man even came to unlock the gates for me to retrieve my car when they were closed. Thanks again :)

Had a fabulous meal this evening. Two of us had the vegan wellington, it was amazing, the others had the steak and ale pie, and chicken and leek pie. all very good. Staff lovely and very friendly

As overners we can't eat here as often as we would like but always try to get to the Cocks when on the Island. In October we had some of our family with us and the Sunday roast meals were excellent and much enjoyed. Just two of us back recently and our meals were excellent. Fish pie for my wife and the sizzler for me, really good. We made sure by booking and while we were there sadly some unbooked people were unable to get in so we do recommend booking to ensure you can get in.. Staff are friendly and efficient. The food was lovely though almost cold by the time we were given it. We then waited almost 30 minutes before our plates were cleared. Then again a wait of almost 10 minutes to get the desert menu to be told that they’d sold out of one of the two deserts. There were other options of cheese or ice cream. None of which we wanted. The waitress came to take our order after another wait of 10 mins to announce she had no idea what deserts were available. We ordered coffees instead of desert. Waiting on coffee whilst I write this review. Whilst the garlic farm is lovely in many ways, the setting, the food when it’s hot, the extremely poor service lets it down - every time I have visited for a meal

Brunch not worth the price for $30, the orange juice they give you is a tiny shot glass with 3 gulps in it. Then you get a tea sure, but that’s like worth max $5 with markup for hot water and a teabag that you make yourself. And they act like they do you a favor even giving you the Oj, nowhere on the menu does it say tiny shot glass of OJ, it just says OJ.

An excellent lunch with everything just perfect. I have been looking for a pub offering roast meals with genuine roast potatoes, not those that have been boiled and deep fried and taste nothing like a real roastie. This is is the place for the genuine article! Everything about the meal was perfect. Huge homemade Yorkshire puddings, beautifully cooked turkey, carrots amazing with a hint of star anise and mustard cream leeks too. It is so nice to be offered vegetables that have been prepared to be a treat in their own right and not just a sidekick to the main component of the dish. My partner enjoyed a jerk chicken burger which he loved, accompanied by a truly delectable salad which was a bit different with cashew nuts etc. A tribute to the culinary skills of the chef in the kitchen who must be congratulated for turning good, honest and basic ingredients into a mouthwatering delight. A nice peaceful atmosphere and excellent service means as locals, we will also now be regulars. There is nothing like a well kept cellar and a skilled chef to tempt us back.

Haven’t been here for probably 7 years as we moved into Bristol! I wished we’d stayed so we could come here more often. Excellent food and great value too! Staff were super friendly and a good laugh! A must for locals, passerby’s and cyclists! Will be back soon!

Delicious meals, and amazingly generous sizing! Service was great, food service was quick, drinks selection extensive. Menu was good, lots of variety. Pricey food but for the quality and size, it's reasonably priced. £120 4 adults 1 child, with only 2 alcoholic drinks. Highly recommended, love a trip to the Dairyman's daughter when I'm on the IOW.

Had driven past many times thinking it was closed. Lovely lunch had, nice atmosphere and wonderful service. Will be booking for Sunday roast and the quiz and curry night.

This is a great 'out of the way' place to stop and have a quick bite to eat or drink, the cafe is set in the grounds of the abbey and there is seating inside and out. A lovely location on any day. There is a small menu of food available. Plus homemade cakes and hot drinks

Fantastic food and staff. The chefs are brilliant as are the waiting staff. Brilliant thanks so much. Will recommend and bring family and friends back for more lovely delicious food and the shop is gorgeous. The staff in shop are great too and very helpful.

Best chicken balti i have had in so long! It's such a wonderful place to go! 10/10 would recommend to anyone! Everton thre in an extra naan.
