The best restaurants in Hayling West Havant South East

Too much of a scramble to take food from buffet as there were no clear ways to queue. Food was of good standard with quite wide choice of dishes.

Perhaps we dont eat enough of the best pizza's in the aera, so I think you all outta go to the Island pizza and buy, buy, buy ANDREW'S wonderful pizza's, before he goes. WE WILL MISS YOU AND YOUR WONDERFUL STAFF,

Love this pub, it's our pub we always come to we popped in for my Partners birthday, we were served by Ken who was very friendly and welcoming. Told us about the mixr app too, fantastic service would always come back, but even better when Ken is there.

Best Chinese takeaway we've ever had, generous portions, everything tasted delicious, pancake rolls stuffed with lots of meat not just beansproutsand not greasy at all, the house special chow mein was packed with meats and vegetables, so many you try now are skimping on the meat and prawns, but not here. And the takeaway itself was lovely and clean, great service. Will travel to hayling from Portsmouth again just to get our takeaway :)

Recieved really nice friendly service. The £12 early bird menu is fantastic value, Lots to pick from, all cooked well and tastes great. Decor of restaurant also very nice.

Had a takeaway from here. The food was delicious. Didn’t have to wait long and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Really good food and at great prices. Staff were really friendly. Only downside was some menu items were missing from the allergy folder. But staff were so kind and looked up items and it meant that so much more of the menu was accessible to the allergies present. We had 2 really great meals here over 2 days and were a medium size party. Every meal was delicious and good value.

Ordered some coffees and ice cream, ice cream was nice but coffees were a bit weak tasted a bit like instant

On the way to the Hayling Island beach we stopped for our lunch at the Maypole. We had hand battered fish and chips. Well, we were amazed how good it was, from it's presentation to it's taste, size, home made tartar sauce and salad (excellent). We couldn't finish it all but were very happy.

Fish is always good . Chips are hit and miss last delivery I had thay were brown and dried up

As other reviews, should have been a zero, disgusting and inedible food. Went today for breakfast, should have gone a few days earlier when the food was first cooked. Ordered vegetarian breakfast, what arrived was days old beans, reheated and overcooked single hash brown, fried egg was okay, tomatoes from a tin, I shudder to think how old and under cooked toast. No sausage or bubble and squeak which according to the menu should have been there, no explanation, no apology.

turned up half an hour before advertised close time and they had turned all the machines off and had cleaned up, wouldn't make us a drink. not great

Attended the Hayling Hotrods at The Beach last night and we planned to have fish and chips. Quite a large order 8 people and a couple of dogs. They were kind enough to let us take the dogs into the funfair area seating. Ordering was easy and we didn't wait too long. Absolutely cracking fish and chips. Curry sauce was nice and the sausage definitely very tasty. Overall a lovely visit and we highly recommend 👌 😊
