The best restaurants in Park Gate Fareham South East

This restaurant went above and beyond for my Birthday! The restaurant kitchen usually closes at 3pm but we were not able to get to the restaurant until 3.30pm! When I contacted the manager to make the booking she explained that she was happy to accommodate us (10 in total) and that she would have a word with the chef's and ask if they were happy to work late so that we could arrive at 3.30pm! The food and the service were excellent and I cannot fault how attentive the service was! We will definitely be going back!

Well, this came up on trip advisor and we just had to investigate. The Cafe is inside the main entrance of the assisted living building. It's very clean, well laid out and nicely presented. The prices are competive and the food was freshly prepared. If you are in the area and fancy a tea and a sandwich then this is definitely worth seeking out.

1st visit to The Gate. Friendly atmosphere and bar man. Great choice of beers. We will be back soon!

Didn't stay in the hotel, just had a roast in the restaurant. Hands down best roast I've ever had!

Takeaway. 2 x Butter Chicken, Pilau Rice & 2 x Naan. Got home (5 minute drive) and the food was stone cold. Tried heating the chicken dish up and it was watery and very heavy on the garlic. Threw the food away. Genuinely disgusting.

Brilliant service from start to finish and we absolutely loved the food. Every dish was perfectly cooked and tasted delicious. We will definitely go back and would definitely recommend Indian Summer!

This is NOT the best fish and chips in the area it is the BEST in the WORLD. I have gluten free so you have to wait a bit longer but it is well worth the wait. Never once a complaint.

Lovely friendly Indian takeaway. We have been using Spice Village for a couple of years now and have no complaints. The food is always flavoursome and good portion sizes too. The staff are always friendly and it’s always ready for collection at the time given. It’s great to be able to watch the food being cooked if you want. Thoroughly recommend, good prices too.

Best cod and chips I’ve ever had! Will be my regular from now on

I have used wok this way for quite a while, but the last 2 times I’ve ordered I’ve not been happy, tonight’s meal had the shells left on some of the prawns, I had 5 pieces of beef in my chow mein and it was stone cold, on phoning I was told we are so sorry we will give you another meal next time but what about tonight’s food, no sorry we will refund you as your a very good customer, I have disputed this with my bank as I don’t and won’t pay for shoddy food
