The food tasted great and delivery was earlier than anticipated. We had not eaten from Spice Village for quite a few years but it’s improved and now will reorder from them again when wanting a takeaway.

Had my first takeaway from here tonight and it was delicious! The sag aloo was the best I've had, absolutely stunning. The tikka masala was delicious, maybe a tad not tomatoey enough for me though. Rice was lovely and plentiful as were the popadoms and just the right amount of side sauce. Delivery time was as expected. Will definately be ordering from here again!

WOW... such gorgeous dishes... never tried this take away before so was a little anxious. We went ahead and ordered meals we had never had before based on the great descriptions. My hubby can be quite boring and I was concerned he would not have anything to eat... he ended up having a little of both dishes . The meal was hot when it arrived and tasted phenomenal... defo be back again and you never know... might even try something new again. Thanks for such a lush taste experience

absolutely amazing curry, been a while since I've had a properly spicy madras. the butter chicken tikka was delicious, the only issue we could of had would be ordering too much food couldn't eat another bite if we tried!! 😅

We've been coming to Spice village for a couple of years now and it is definitely the best Indian takeaway we have found in the area. The food is always hot and tastes amazing. The makhani chicken is the best we've ever had and mushroom rice is out of this world. Would definitely recommend.

After our local Indian shut permanently we were looking for another one that would be equally as good, and we stumbled across Spice Village whilst out one night. This Indian is superb, the food is tasty and well prepared and the welcome from staff is brilliant, nothing is ever too much trouble. I would recommend this little gem to anyone

We tried Spice Village last night for the first time and we weren't disappointed. The food was delicious. The staff were very friendly and we could even use a credit card!! We will definitely use again.

The menu is great, i try something every time I visit. The garlic and chilli chicken is exceptional. Watching the chef's cook your meal in front of you is great, how they just choose the spices needed and so quickly is amazing. Would recommend them if you haven't tried before, give them a go.

First time ordering Indian takeaway from here, ordered a chicken vindaloo, special fried rice, onion bhaji etc, thought had naan bread missing but phoned up realised it was my mistake, but just thought I'd give a review, food was amazing and I recommend to anyone, and will definitely be ordering from Spice village again, being Indian myself I do love my Indian food, thanks & merry Xmas, look forward to my next order 😀 Wanted to add more to review, been ordering from Spice village often never dissatisfied always looked after with lovely food

the food took a very long time to arrive however when it did arrive it was very tasty and hot so may have just been a busy evening. will definitely try this place again and hope it won't take as long next time.

Foods nice and have used a few times now. This time paid for delivery and was missing an item. Was asked to pick up the item or could have the money off our next order. Pointless paying for delivery if I have to come back to pick up missing food. Asked for a refund for the missing item and they hung up. I don't think it's unresonable to ask for a refund for something I've not received, but apparently that wasn't an option. I won't be using again. Very poor attitude.

First time ordering as just moved into area and was a bit apprehensive as had a bad experience from another takeaway but this was amazing in all ways definitely our new go to indian

Shocking delivery service, ordered at 6:23 pm on a Friday night, website said 45m to 1hr. Phoned twice still not here or left to be deliverd 2hrs 30mins since ordering and still waiting. I could have picked if you would have advised on the website or when I called. Come on guys, did I order a midnight snack?? If you don't want customers just say. P.s. hungry customers rarely give good reviews.

Went to Spice Valley thinking it would be spicy… turns out the stuff my missus sends me has more spice in than any of your dishes😭

I've used this place for years but the quality is not worth the dreadful delivery times. I placed an order for a fixed slot 1 hour after booking(their website does this) and the meal was still 40 mins later than that. If I wanted to wait that long I would have cooked it myself or perhaps gone to a restaurant.

This is my go to takeaway as the food is always good and delivery is usually early. I believe they have just had a new chef, the food tonight was particularly good, each dish was flavourful and unique.

I have used this establishment several times since moving into the area a couple times of years back. Why I decided to cross its doorstep one more time I am not sure; a momentary lapse of reason, perhaps. In my 50 years of eating subcontinental food I have never been so disappointed. House biryani; the meat (chicken and lamb) almost solid with no flavour. The prawns, well shrimps were like bullets. The rice was a mush of unseasoned, Unspiced sameness. I was also attracted to the Fresh paneer in chilli sauce; a thick kitchen sponge which had been quartered and sprinkled with raw chilli powder and then subjected to that vile red food colouring which I thought had disappeared years ago. £12.80 for food that I would not even have fed to a pig. Call yourself Spice Village I don’t think you’d know a spice if it jumped up and bit you on the nose.

Was late on delivery didn’t even deliver hanging up on us vary rude.

What a terrible experience. Tesco jar curry 🍛 is better than what they serve up. Microwaved Madras. I know there’s a shortage of good Indian chefs but this was the worst Curry I’ve ever had. Won’t be going here again!

This takeaway was the most authentic tasting curry I’ve had in years and I eat a lot curries and lived with an Indian friend. I ordered Murgh mirch masala (hot as a jalfrezi) it’s a chefs special and my word it was incredible. I ordered 8 different items and it’s the first takeaway I’ve ordered that has actually given me everything I have ordered in a long time. They even threw in some onion bhajis Which were also amazing. Very fresh, very tasteful, excellent use of spices, chillies and passionately made. There is no question I’ll order from here again.

Very nice Indian and food always tastes lovely and not greasy, however this is the second time I have had to wait over an hour and a half for my delivery, hence the 3 stars.

Absolutely awful. Not one to comment usually. King prawns they were not, chicken non existent, tarka dal tasted as though it was fresh out of a deep fat fryer! All pure slop and little taste .... So disappointed as frequented in the past. Won’t be heading back soon

Just Chat down to an absolute Bangla of a takeaway at a friend's house. This was our first time ordering from Spice Village and it certainly did not disappoint! Oh my Gosht, the chicken was tender, juicy and the rice was as soft as a Pilau. We ordered for delivery and the clock was tikka-ing and the food arrived hot and promptly from a Dhaling of a delivery driver. The food was second to Naan! Would certainly order from here again! Thank you!

Just had 1 of the best Indian take aways delivered piping hot! Food was amazing chicken just melts in the mouth! Was sceptical as spice village went down hill somewhat b4 closing! But it's back better than ever! Great meal guys thank you!!! Super fast delivery too!!! Highly Recommend
