I have been to various Indian restaurants and in my opinion this one is the best so far , the food is delicious, u get good quantity as well as quality and the staff are friendly.

Just ordered a curry after a tiring day and even though I was told it would be an hour, my food arrived hot in 35 mins. All of it was delicious. Nothing was missing. The balti's had big pieces of chicken and lamb in them and all of us said how nice it was

Wow, what an amazing restaurant - they do an excellent Kashmir, proper, with lychee, banana and pineapple... I have never tasted anything more delicious... some coconut rice and a pashwari naan. I was very, very hungry and asked if he could deliver soon. He said they can despite being busy. Very helpful staff on the phone ordering delivery - fast, efficient and mouth watering delicious, I can only highly recommend!

Been using these for a fair few years,went New Year’s Eve to try the new wraps and loaded chips.The wrap was greasy and tasteless,the chips were ok but not like tikka Marsala more like sweet and sour.Maybe just a bad night as even the butter chicken and onion Bahia were not up to normal standard.Think I will give it a while and try again

Ordered a chicken tikka...half cold, a few pieces of chicken swimming in watery, flavourless mulch. A total waste of money. Avoid.

Horrendous! We ordered our food 2.5 hours ago and despite 28 unconnected phone calls to the restaurant it only just arrived. My husband has diabetes and had injected in preparation for the food so had had to eat before hand to avoid becoming unwell. I explained this to the manager and he offered me the collection fee of 20% off, I said it should be free and despite him advising me that if we did not pay for it it would go in the bin he would not move from this price. In the end I sent it back with the driver. I am so disappointed by how this was handled and how quickly a one off bad experience could be escalated to never using this restaurant again due to the poor management and customer service. Don’t order from here, you won’t get your food anyway.

Brilliant! Best Indian food in Fareham.

I had family down and we enjoyed 4 different mains, 3 starters and a vegetable side between us all. Same as previous meals from Baburchi, every single one was a winner. I particularly like that it’s all good cuts of meat, and it’s not swimming in puddles of oil or ghee like some other places I’ve tried. Portions are very generous, great for leftovers the next day. Online ordering on their website is perfect for big orders. 10% cash discount is nice too. I particularly liked the chilli Shish kebab starter; and the goan chicken tikka and coconut rice which just hit me with the great coconut smell and taste. I’m looking forward to my next visit! We had: Shish kebab, chilli shish kebab, chicken shashlik, Achari chicken tikka bhuna, chicken biriyani, Goan chicken tikka, Plain and coconut rice

This is the best Indian takeaway in Hampshire, a well run family business with the son as head of house doing a great job taking loads of orders and a dad preparing and cooking amazing food. Normal wait times are about an hour and to me I'm not fussed by that, but if you want great food at a great price it's worth the wait. I can honestly say the food is class and I've never had a bad experience. I have recommended loads of people to this place and I will keep doing it. People may look at this and think OK abit ott, but who cares loyalty to a family run business needs to be commended. The new street food addition chicken and masala chips were amazing. I've not used Baburchi for a while due to health problems and when I phoned it was 10 min after they stopped delivery. They still delivered to me on time and the food was absolutely superb. Don't hesitate to try them, you won't be disappointed.

Best Indian Takeaway in Fareham!

I waited one and a half hours on a Wednesday evening. Had to make a second phone call and told almost there. So 5.30pm to 7.00pm and then tried to deliver to wrong address. Three dishes all bland, brown and tasteless. Oh dear not what a returning customer was expecting. A disappointing experience.

I went with the good reviews and ordered a Mixed Grille, Veg Pakora which came just under £20. I was told if you order over you can get 10% off so added onion bhaji making it just over and I confirmed via card on the phone. On arrival I did not get the 10% as I used my card which I did say on the phone. That said when I got back the mixed grille was swimming in fat. I have never had veg pakora that was in essence mashed potatoes with peas which again was swimming in grease. Lastly the onion bhaji was also extremely greasy and most of this meal went into the bin. I honestly cannot understand how this place is getting such a high score?? Mabey I was just unlucky ?

Good Indian food at a Great price especially for cash on collection. In the current cost of living crisis good value is very welcome especially when you have a family of 4 kids. First visit tonight I will be a regular from now on.

I live in Locks heath and I always travel to the Baburchi for my Indian takeaways. I have never had a bad meal from Barbuchi and neither have they ever forgotten a dish I ordered. I wouldn't go any where else in the area

This was a family meal for three. All the dishes were beautifully cooked and absolutely delicious. No complaints at all and three very happy adults. Definitely our new favourite!!

I havent had an Indian in a while and came here over the weekend. Came to collect but food wasnt quite ready, so sat down and had to wait a short while. Eventually got called up and took it home, found it packed neatly and piping hot. The food was amazing as expected. Will be back soon !

Didn’t taste anything like a dansak, absolutely disgusting. Will not ever get a takeaway from here again. My husbands meal was horrible too yuk yuk yuk

Good food, great value for money from a takeaway.

A Facebook group recommendation led me to try this family-run place, even though it’s further away than my trusted Lee on Solent curry takeaway. We had a feast of tandoori mixed grill, chicken biryani, mint lamb tikka, jalfrezi, tandoori chicken masala, lemon rice, cucumber raita, coconut rice, popadom and a naan. We loved it all, great flavours. Not a single dish let us down. The biriyani even had the egg slices on top that I remember fondly from my first childhood curries in Brighton. The shop itself is clean, modern, slick red lighting, displaying accolades and a perfect hygiene rating. Ample nearby parking. The owners’ son even asked to let them know how the meal was - good customer service. They also have a big convenience trump card: a website with ability to order online. This is now my new favourite takeaway!

Absolutely delicious food, great customer services and a speedy delivery.

There is ample parking in the Highlands Road shops lay-by and baburchi is just around the corner at the pedestrian crossing. Telephone orders are ready in approx 25 mins depending on amount. 10% off collection orders and cash is preferred payment. The whole meal was excellent for taste, size of portion and presentation. The onion bhaji and lamb rogan were best I have tasted. Also good was the chicken kurma and saag rice. Topped off with lamb biriani and peshmadi naam the customers were well satisfied. Ordering for the first time from this outlet I was most impressed and will certainly visit again.

Alway brilliant curry and everything to go with it, probably the best in Fareham. Very friendly telephone service too. Very reasonably priced too. Highly recommend

I usually dont leave reviews but this place needs one! I order my usual jalfrezi, which has lots of taste and good portion. its not just a normal curry when you order from here. Highly recommend anyone looking for a local indian takeaway that provides fresh quality food at good price

Had to wait 90mins for delivery, all the food was cold , seemed tasty but very few prawns in a king Prawn curry !!! Sides were cold and soggy , very disappointed after reading the other reviews :(

I order from here regularly now after i switched my loyalties from another nearby Indian. I was highly recommended this place by a few mates and can say they have the best food and go out of their way for customer service. Hats off to the chef and front of house team. The baburchi is the best! really good food, with lots of depth and flavour and it is never watery and bland unlike some nearby. They are very polite with service and always friendly. I have found it quicker to collect and although sometimes there is a wait - it is worth it! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a proper Indian

Has a good curry from here but the order was taken wrong again , that's twice in a row from 2 visits , despite being read out 5 times and confirmed on tbe phone Turned up to collect and had to show I also ordered pilao rice they forgot.Got home and then found peshwari nan was omitted as well What are they doing !!!!

The food is lovely but they let themselves down with the service on the phone. On a number of occasions they have made me wait at least 3 minutes while they served somebody else. When I rang back they did the same again which I think is unacceptable. They did not even bother to call back so this has put me off ordering in the future.

Ordered from here with my family and we enjoyed everythinggggg so much. The family working there makes it so much more authentic! The food was 5*, the service was so polite and welcoming even at times like this and it was well worth the money! Our new fav Indian spot! I saw the good reviews for this take away so although I live at Sarisbury Green I decided to see if it was as good as the reviews suggested. It is. I have been there twice in the last 10 days and I am very impressed. Good food and good front of house on the telephone and when you collect

This place is simply the best. The food here is to die for and is always full of flavour. The chef is always smiling and is so nice to have a chat with when he walks by. They go above and beyond for their customers and are really welcoming. The Baburchi has got extra precautions following Covid guidelines, makes everyone feel safe. I highly recommend this place for anyone in Fareham or surrounding areas looking for a proper Indian takeaway that provides consistently good food!

Baseline, the food is always great, amazing value for money and good portion size. However, a month or 2 ago when we visited we ordered the Larger Meal Deal and didn’t receive any Onion Bhaji’s. While I admit, it is on us for not calling back on the night, it was far too late by the time we realised to go back to the takeaway. Also, the meal deal includes Mint Sauce, which is an acquired taste as it stands. And in the menu, it costs the same as Chutney’s and other sauces, however we were declined the opportunity to swap them out despite them costing the same. Whilst I admit I don’t know, but I speculate this is an attempt to pawn off some of their less ordered produce. Great food, less great service.

I use the baburchi all the time! They are a bit hidden from the main shopping parade, but im glad i found them. Everyone raves about them! The food is simply the best in the area and they give friendly service. Highly recommend to anyone looking for proper Indian Takeaway!

I’ve just had a Chicken Madras from this take away and I can honestly say it is the worst slop I have ever eaten. I have previously used them and it was ok, have had a bad meal from them before but decided to give them another go...what a mistake. I won’t make that mistake again. Do not use this take away.

Paid £40 for a delivery and It’s safe to say the tastiest thing on my plate was my co op bought mango chutney, awful food and cold will not be visiting again, do not come here not worth the disgusting prices they charge for the vile food.

Sorry first time ordering was asked to leave a review so I am , tasteless watery feel to the chicken bhuna lacking in a true depth of taste of spice ,Peshawari naan was just bread with no ounce of sweetness mushroom bhaji was anaemic and lacked any punch apart from the armbands I needed for the ghee everything was swimming in it! Sorry first and last time and 34 quid for the pleasure! Raita gloopy KP butterfly 2 " thick in batter not good I'm afraid

Tried this place a few times and always hit and miss. This was a bad one. Grease on an industrial scale. Chewy old chicken and smelly curdled dips (it's hot weather so put it in the fridge). I'm feeling.... mostly in the bin.

Its been and hour and 50 minutes since we placed an order for somewhere that is nearby. When called to ask for an eta the staff were rude, spoke over me and fobbed me off with comments about heavy traffic (despite being down the road) then hung up. They didn't listen and clearly didn't want to talk or consider appropriate customer service. Avoid!

We have been struggling to find a decent Indian takeaway which delivers, then came across Baburchi and bingo!! Great customer service from the phone call to the delivery which was fast on a Friday night. Food is the best we have had in years, it will be our new go to curry house.
